Not only did Tom Brown, the owner, do EXCEPTIONAL work, he truly went above & beyond to stay on our deadline. Example, when one of our porch posts did not come in to the lumber supply store, he actually drove to Bethlehem, PA to retrieve it himself. He then finished the porch, painted the post and all of our other contracted work BEAUTIFULLY. If I could give Tommy and T&S Contractors 10 stars, I would. I would NOT hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Tommy and his team of professionals recently completed a new kitchen, bathroom and installation of a Trex deck. They were professional, neat and competitively priced. The kitchen rip out and install took less than a week, and his kitchen installer was a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend them, and plan to use them on future projects.

Tom and his crew did a great job with constructing a new addition and bathroom to my house. Tom kept me apprised of job status and a timeline for completion. He was always available for questions and any issues that arose. He also recommend top notch plumber and electrician.
I would highly recommend him and crew for any type of construction or renovation; he definitely knows his trade.

Tommy did a great job replacing my shake shingles in the front of the house and shutters. He kept me updated on the progress of the job and it now looks clean and updated.

Tom and his workers did an amazing job changing my wood porch to vinyl. It looks beautiful. I would recommend him, very reliable and always let you know when he would be there or if he was held up. I love my new porch.

Had a small wall removed and reinstall the header into the attic, sheet rocked living room a bedroom ceilings, painted both rooms and kitchen. Installed floating floor in LR and kitchen. Was told 5-7 days to complete, I thought 2 weeks. 5 weeks later they were finally done. The LR ceiling they had to re-sheetrock, because the first 1/4” they installed was done incorrectly waves throughout after I showed them when it was half done; Installed 1/2”over the 1/4” made me pay 650 to install new. Never cleaned the compound dust just worked in it. Before installing the LR flooring there was an old covered up heating vent from a gravity system which was about 2’x2’ and not level with the floor about 1-2” below grade. After they installed the flooring I checked it out and almost fell, because they just went over it, it was like walking on a trampoline. Took video and sent it to him, meet him the next day and he had no clue how to correct the problem without ripping up the floor, which he wasn’t going to do, I had to show him how to remove that part of the flooring and he only put shims to correct it, not leveling that area. Now let talk about his tapers; the person who did the bedroom did a great taping job on the ceiling, the LR is a different they had to redo different spots a few times until they got it correct. Now to the painters the kitchen they left paint on the counters, baseboards and on the new floor, the bedroom the same I had to tell them to clean it. I had to buy and drop it off the paint and flooring. The transition piece between the kitchen I had to pick it up not them.
I hope if you are going to use them think about my comments and ask for reference to other jobs they did.

Stay/run away from this contractor. Had a very very horrible experience dealing with him. Gave 1 star because there is no way to give zero rating.

I hired T and S Contractors LLC to start a vinyl siding job on October 07, 2020. Needless to say I am completely unsatisfied with the workmanship, professionalism, and overall experience with T and S Contractors and its owner. The siding job was completed December 21,2021 and the incomplete window job is still unfinished. Vinyl siding jobs for a one story ranch should take no more than two weeks. Granted there were extra tasks that popped up during the siding job(framing, replacing plywood, replacing 5 windows, front door install), the job should not have taken nearly 3 months. From the start of the job to the unfinished end, I have continually been stressed and frustrated. During the process of reframing the back of the house, I had to ask three times why rotted wood was being sistered up with new wood. It was finally completed the right way after I “Annoyed” them. Every day I had to inspect everything that was being done because there were so many shortcuts taken. For example, the fanfold insulation that was being installed did not have even seams and was not taped until I made it an issue. Some parts of the insulation looked like a kid’s jigsaw puzzle. A triangle here a square there does not make for high efficiency insulation. The vinyl trim around the windows was poor quality and not even white, not to mention it is all face nailed which is incorrect. I was told it is like how the white on a Nissan is different than the white on a Ford….I did not find that joke funny. I had to redo numerous jobs that were completed on the interior of the house as well. I had to re-caulk and re-spackle over things that were “ready to paint.” I had to install trim after telling him numerous times you could not reinstall the old trim cause it would be too short. He insisted on installing the short old trim and then completed the remaining space with a random piece of mdx trim that looked nothing like the trim. He wrapped the old windows with pvc aluminum trim prior to installing the new ones. So now there is a huge ¾ inch space between the window and trim, not to mention the trim is pitched back towards the window(WRONG)!!! When I asked what the plan was to fix that issue, He said, “Oh we can throw a bead of caulk in there.” When it comes to windows and siding….the less silicone you have to use the better. However, caulk and silicone was his answer to every problem. For example, the J channel was cut wrong he caulked it; instead of putting boxes and J channels around open areas he caulked it; even the areas that needed caulk were not caulked correctly. The job site was and still is a mess. My landscaping is destroyed and there is a ton of debris everywhere. The topper was when he took out 4 old windows and threw them on my front lawn. I said you can not leave that there. He assured me he would be back tomorrow and would clean it up. I have not seen him since! If you enjoy disappointment and poor workmanship T and S Contractors LLC is the company for you. However, do yourself a favor, spend a few extra dollars and hire a reliable, reputable, and professional company. I finally did and they are correcting all the mistakes.

Do not give Tommy a deposit and do not pay in advance. He started a 2 car garage addition December 2022. He said it would take 7 weeks to complete. 8 months later and still not done. He has 90% of my money and now I need to find someone else to finish his work. Beware before hiring Tommy!!

CONTRACTOR FRAUD - CRIMINAL COMPLAINTS FILED
DO NOT HIRE. Paid $28,000 in full February 2025. Eight months later: 50% complete, abandoned. This is documented fact, not opinion.
PAYMENT FRAUD: Brown directed $23,200 in checks to him PERSONALLY (not his business). Cashed separately over weeks. Bank fraud prevention called us THREE TIMES. Only $4,800 went to business. This is tax evasion.
BUILDING CODE VIOLATIONS: Video evidence (7/30/25) shows Brown dry-pouring 17 bags of concrete without mixing - violates NJ Building Code 1905.1.1. He personally participated. Filed building dept complaint.
PLAN VIOLATIONS: I hired architect Kurt Ludwig, got approved permits for 3'×2' footings. Brown excavated 4'×2' (33% oversized), violating my permit. Cannot read basic plans.
MATERIAL FRAUD: Quoted 26 Trex boards for 33-foot porch (impossible). Same porch: quoted 62 TimberTech boards (correct). 238% discrepancy proves deliberate fraud to create fake "allowance." Now demanding $5,388 more.
LICENSE FRAUD: Displayed expired license #13VH0198880 (expired 3/31/21) for 4+ YEARS. Actually has valid license but used expired number. Filed Consumer Affairs complaint.
FORGED CONTRACTS: Attorney sent fake contracts (dated 10/16/25 and 10/23/25) never signed by me, creating false "allowances" not in original agreement. Filed police report.
CONTRACT VIOLATION: Contract says alterations require "written orders only." Brown violated this demanding extra payment without authorization.
EVIDENCE: Video of code violations, bank records, cancelled checks, wife's notarized affidavit (bank fraud calls), fake contracts, photos, architectural plans.
WARNING: Brown will take your money, violate codes, abandon your project, create fake documents, and expose you to tax liability.
