I called Borst to design/plan and plant a garden in our backyard and to landscape our entry walkway. Kenny and the team were excellent to work with; responsive and professional, they came with great ideas on how to really make the garden beautiful, while working carefully to make sure it fit our constraints. We are so happy with the finished project, it looks great. We highly recommend Borst for any landscaping project.

I have watched Mark’s business grow into the premiere landscaping company it is today. His team of designers have been showcased in 201 Magazine so many times that I’ve lost count. Mark and his team give back to the community, they are dedicated and caring. Countless awards and accolades, I’m proud to know him. From start to finish the Borst team did a wonderful job landscaping our front & back yards. Kenny & Karl provided excellent advice & customer service. They helped us to beautifully design the areas & to choose the appropriate plantings. It was a pleasure working with them & our backyard looks amazing!

From start to finish, we had a great experience with Kenny Stag and the Garden Design Team at Borst. He came in, asked what we liked, talked about what we were thinking. A week or so later he had a proposal in front of me. A few days after that my backyard was complete, the gardens look great. He and his team are timely, very professional, and did a great job!

Dave has consistently given us great ideas and advice on all of our landscaping projects; as large as a pool/patio design and install, to adding a rock garden, to privacy trees and plantings. WOW!! I just want to thank Kenny and his team. First, the tree guys that they used were OUTSTANDING! They were very careful about everything they did. They removed six, very large, diseased or dead trees behind my house. They placed thick rubber plates over my grass and decorative mulch that were just slightly larger than the transporter they used to carry the large amount of tree cuttings to the grinder in the street in front of my house. I'm talking about tons of branches, leaves and very large and heavy logs. They never missed that platform. The mulch and lawn they had to drive over were unaffected. Only compressed. They were great. Then, Kenny's team came in and fluffed up the mulch and grass and they also blew the entire area. I am not kidding when I say that EVERYTHING looks better now than before Kenny'[s team got here! A really GREAT job. Please tell the owner of the tree business that he should be very proud of his people, as I am sure Kenny is of his. Thanks for caring about the job and caring about me! It shows!

I strongly recommend Borst, especially Karl W. I was struggling to find a dependable, responsive company to help me with my dream landscaping. My dreams have come true. We used Borst for several years after bouncing from one company to another. We have a large yard with extensive landscaping—Kenny and his staff were able to bring back our yard to Its full potential after years of other landscapers not getting It right. Borst has done everything for us from landscape design to redo an entire slope bed to removing and editing our existing plantings to meticulous maintenance of all of the various plantings and beds. Borst took care of all our seasonal plantings and would do a beautiful job with the variety and quality of plantings—I looked forward to see what they would do each season. Kenny and his staff are top notch and I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to get your landscaping done right.

Ken Stagg and the Borst team did a great job on our plantings. We’ve been in the house for over 10 years and they have never looked so good. We lost half of our plantings over this dry summer, and Ken helped us to come up with a plan for our specific space. We were able to strategize and find plants that would look good year-round, that didn’t require a lot of water or sun. The results are beautiful, and we could not be more pleased. Would recommend this team in a heartbeat.

We hired Borst after interviewing multiple high-end landscape design companies. We have two phases of our landscape (re)design and recently completed phase one. Everyone from Karl to the landscapers are extremely professional, caring and knowledgeable. The work they have done so far (tree removal and replanting, prepping area for new swing set) is beautiful. We couldn't be more impressed. Karl and his crew were on-site during each step of the way making sure everything was going smoothly. We are excited to see the rest of the project completed! Ken and his crew at Borst were fantastic to work with on our landscaping design and implementation. He was able to quickly set up a meeting with me after I reached out, and then promptly sent over a quote and proposal. The implementation was a quick turnaround after approval and the results were phenomenal. Our project came to life and it was more than I could have dreamed it would be. My backyard was dirty and dingy looking. I asked Ken Stagg, Sr account Manager at Borst to get it ready for Memorial Day and The crew at Borst came on time and power washed my backyard making it look brand new. They took their time to really clean and move furniture so that every inch looks amazing.
Highly recommend Ken at Borst as they not only did a terrific job power washing but also take care of all my landscaping needs.

Recently worked with Karl and his team to update and refresh our landscaping after the prior homeowner ignored it for years. We trusted Karl’s advice and the team delivered and addressed all of our wants and needs for a landscape design. Any time we had a question, Karl was so quick to respond or stop by to walk our property. We really enjoyed working with Borst to landscape our home.

Working with Borst Landscape and Design has been a terrific experience from start to finish. I had admired their work pictured in magazines at grand properties. I always figured they would not do smaller jobs, but a friend who is a realtor recommended the company to me when I was looking to redo my landscaping. Preston Rowan, one of their designers, came to my house. We discussed my ideas and my concerns. Preston listened closely and offered solutions to problems we needed resolved. He then created two different plans to show me, with accompanying samples of materials for the proposed hardscapes. Once we tweaked and decided on our design, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a handwritten note from the owner of the company thanking me for choosing them and welcoming us to the Borst family. What a personal touch that doesn’t happen very often anymore. Due to recent events, materials were very difficult to come by and thus we had to change the materials used a couple of times due to lack of availability. The masons that came to remove our old patio and pathways, and then prep the ground and eventually lay the new stones were careful, organized artisans. The plantings put in have varied shape and accent the new patio beautifully. Preston even incorporated my memory of beloved lilacs from my childhood home within the design. He also recommended accent lighting in just the right places and still worked within our budget.
I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Borst and Preston as a landscape designer who was very attentive and patient with questions from me and my husband. We are planning on using Borst again for another project soon.

Borst did such a beautiful landscape design on my front yard! Our account manager, Ken Stagg, paid special attention to detail when choosing plantings considering the many deer we have in our area. The yard looks so much larger and I appreciate all of the extra sunshine in the house. The crew did an excellent and clean job!

He is a one of kind and deserves to be recognized for his outstanding knowledge, customer service and amazing way of speaking to the client base that he serves for Borst. He always listens to concerns and wants to help as much as he can when it comes to our job. Norman is very knowledgeable with shrubs, plants flowers and all the things needed to make a beautiful look and outcome for the property. He is a valuable player at Borst!

I would like to add our property is older shrubs and Rhodies that I have been working with for a few years now in part with the overall renovation of the house. I can happily say the gardens are now with Norman (and myself) looking amazing and restored to the original beauty it had before! He really understands those older plantings and he is my go to for these old beauties! Outstanding!

Borst replaced several arbor vitae trees that had been impacted by the drought. The new trees are doing beautifully and perfectly match in size to the others in the row. They mulched the area and it looks fantastic.

Karl was so helpful, coming to give me an estimate while I was on my lunch break. He was prompt and emailed it quickly to me. I was able to sign it electronically and move forward with the replacement before other companies had even called me back.

Borst also installed a patio for us a few years ago. They made sure our big tree was not impacted by the patio by consulting their tree expect. They are wonderful to do business with and their work is thorough, beautiful and professional.

We needed an entire landscape design for our new home. We had many choices but eventually went with Borst Landscape and Design. Dave Beasley was exceptional. Walked us through all choices using a detailed schematic to know exactly what we our property would look like. Continued throughout the installation and beyond. We use Borst for our maintenance as well and are extremely happy with their complete all encompassing package of services. We continue our relationship with Dave as he very responsive to any needs we may have.
