Contractor was punctual, curtious and professional. Educated by explaining my issues before addressing them. Pricing for high quality of workmanship has always been fai ( no price gouging ) like some other companies that I have dealt with in the past.I have used this company multiple times I highly recommend G.E. Smith Electrical.

G.E. Electric is a professional and knowledgeable company with a reputation of performance. I feel that their experience and communication set them apart from their competition. I highly recommend. The electrical techs and crews keep the jobs clean and treat each project as if they are working in their own homes.

We have used G.E.Smith Electric on several occasions. They installed sub meters in a professional building, they upgraded an electric panel and inspected hard-wired smoke/CO detectors in a residential property. They were always responsive, and they did good work without leaving a mess. I use this business whenever I need the services of an electrician, and I recommend them highly.

It's been a few years since Gary and his team upgraded my electrical panel in my home so I'm negligent in not have written earlier about the complete and professional job that he and his team did. Not only did they upgrade my panel to 200amp but in doing so coordinated with another contractor to move my A/C, unit that was too close to my electric meter, and coordinated with PSE&G to rework my meter wiring. All this work was performed quickly with negligible disruption to our house power. You very rarely find a contractor that not only does great work BUT makes it their business to coordinate other subs at minimal cost and disruption to you. Gary will be my first call should I or my family need any electrical work. P.S., I would add a "+" to my 5 star rating if I could.

Initially hired Gary to add power a new fireplace and above TV hookup. After bouncing around a few ideas that I had, he made suggestions to add sconces, re-center a ceiling fan and add new ceiling lights and switches.
These additions weren't made to "pad the bill". They were great enhancements for my family room project.

Great experience using Gary. His crew did a fantastic job, quality work and clean up. New light fixtures and ceiling fans make kitchen much more enjoyable to be in. I would recommend GE Smith for anyone who needs a quality electrician!

I called a number of Electric Company's once I was informed I had to replace my rusted out meter pan and hire my own electrician to do the job.
No one would take the job because it would involve upgrading my fuse box as well.
When I called G.E.Smith Electric, they answered the phone, came out the next day to estimate the job and gave me a good quote also explaining everything I would be charged for. They got all the permits etc., and I had to do nothing!
The job was scheduled for exactly one week later. The electricians were right on time, extremely neat and very thorough.
They completed the job the same day and the bill was exactly as stated. Thank-You to a great company and an excellent job.
