Fantastic job on setting up electricity through our chimney. Not an easy job and it came out perfect. Prompt, responsive, fast and great all around.

I used Black Bear Electric to repair some electrical equipment on my RV. The technician that was sent was clean, courteous, and prompt. I would definitely recommend and use them again.

I tried to save money and do the work myself. I wound up getting way over my head. I was recommended Black Bear electric through some friends. Jonathan came over. Looked at what I was doing and explained to me the right way with all the codes. I knew after my experience with him going over with what I was trying to do that he really knows his stuff so I hired him on the spot. The work was awesome. His employees were awesome. Highly recommend to anybody who needs a quality electrician.

Fast professional service. These guys went above and beyond for me. We thought our building may catch fire, and within less than a hour had a man on site to check our concern. The final repair was completed timely and professionally. I'd recommend Jon and his entire team to anyone.

Black Bear Electric is a very fine group of professionals. They are prompt and responsive. Their electricians apply for their own permits and attend their inspections (and pass) which helps to keep the projects on time and the other trades moving. Highly recommended.

John and his employee were GREAT! My main breaker failed on Sunday early afternoon. I called John right away and he picked up….which surprised me right off the bat! Anyhow, it’s an issue that has happened before and I was having a problem getting an electrician to come and fix it. Plus, the part was not easy to locate because of the age of the system. John’s employee showed up at 7: 35ish (10 minutes early) and because of the situation, John ended up having to also come up. He was there within 15 minutes! He filled me in on what needed to be done, called my local electric company to have them come to unlock the box, which they did before 1pm. I had to go into the office to work in the afternoon and when I came home he had the job done. I should also mention, that it was the first hot day of the year and I really needed to have my air on. He also found a (I think refurbished..with a year warranty) part for about $250 vs. a new one which would have been $400 to $800 and would have taken a few more days to get it. Thank you John and staff.

Excellent Service and quality of work. Jonathan the owner always answers or gets back to you. But more importantly he does an excellent job. I have used him at least 6 times in the past 3 years. While no homeowner wants to ever have to call someone that often for an electrical job it is great to know that you would never call anyone else. When I saw how he breezes through repair jobs I happily called him to install lighting and generators. He has even expertly run diagnostics on a generator we left idle and got it back running with sheer determination. Technically what he did should have been an engine mechanics job but he is so knowledge and well rounded. I have found him to be highly efficient, talented and a straight shooter. I will not use anyone else. I think everyone is catching on because he is pretty busy. I know in the age of “I want it done now” having to wait for service can be excruciating. But I tell you I would wait a week with no electricity if I know I can get Jonathan or his talented crew. They are worth waiting for to get the job done right. That said in the midst of the hurricane Isaias he gets to my house the following morning on a day he is booked until midnight. This is why he earns my loyalty!

Jonathan the owner is absolutely fabulous. I had to upgrade my electrical panel and run a few new lines throughout the house. In addition, I needed to call him out to the house a few times as I was considering different projects. He always calls you back quickly, is very honest and spot on with his estimates. Every time I called him to come out, he or his team always showed up on time. The first time I hired him, he was the cheapest of the 3 estimates so that is why I hired him along with the excellent reviews. However, when you see the quality of work they do, how pleasant and professional they are, I would've easily paid more and I have found myself an electrician for life. For the amount of work I had done, friends don't believe how cheap it was, yet the quality of work is top notch! I would not only recommend, but encourage anyone to use Black Bear Electric!

Jonathon and his crew did a whole house rewire when we did our addition. They located all the damaged wires that looked like they were chewed on by whatever animal was inside the walls and ceilings and replaced them. They did an exceptional job with everything and we couldn't be happier with their work and professionalism. He is also extremely familiar with codes and we passed permitting without a hiccup. Would highly recommend him for all of your electrical needs.

I contacted blackbear about getting a whole house generator installed in my home in Baskridge. They were very thorough. Explained the whole process with connection with the gas main and the electric and all the permitting processes . Work done in less than 60 days very pleased with the entire process with blackbear will definitely be using them in the future
