We had an emergency after hours so we called a different company to come in and fix our air conditioning. They came, charged us an enormous charge, but got us up and running. It lasted 4 days. I then called Unique to come out. John came, and he fixed the same thing that the original company supposedly fixed just 4 days ago. As he was leaving, he said he was going to check out the unit in the back, just to make sure it was running ok. THANK GOD HE DID!!! John found out that the other company had put the wrong kind of freon in the system, and my house could have blown up! We had to shut off the system completely and have it completely cleaned out.

I can not say enough good things about this company. Not only do they charge a fraction of the amount as the other company, but because John decided to go above and beyond his job description my family is now safe. I will only be using them for all my AC needs!

Exceptional work and responsiveness!!! Our unit was leaking from the ceiling on the first hot day of the season. I called at 9am and John was here by 10. Extremely knowledgeable on the unico system and saved the day!! From service to customer service, I rate them 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I wanted to update my review to provide more context. My experience wasn't related to their technical HVAC service—as it turns out, I am outside their service area—but rather with the initial communication process.
​I attempted to reach the business multiple times over two months via the phone number listed on Google, leaving several voicemails with no response. However, once I filled out the contact form on their website, they reached out to me almost immediately.
​Note to others: If you are trying to get a hold of them, skip the phone calls and use their online contact form instead. It seems there may be a technical issue with their Google-listed phone line or voicemail system, as they didn't appear to receive my previous messages. Once we connected via the web, they were prompt and professional in letting me know I was outside their coverage zone.

Unfortunately, I can not recommend Unique Air Conditioning & Heating. A few years ago they installed a Unico system and this year it needed service for the first time. They were incredibly unhelpful. They would not schedule an appointment and just said they would call me when they were in the area which never happened. I would recommend an vendor if you would like both installation and future service.

Similar to Rob L (reviewer) I bought a Unico AC system from Unique and am extremely unimpressed with their service. They installed 3 systems in my home and I paid over $75,000 for the installation, yet they have treated me poorly since the installation was completed. When I called about having a new vent reglued to the floor, they automatically assumed it was my fault and charged me hundreds of dollars to re-glue it to the floor. They were very available when I called to get a price quote and during the installation, and their billing department would continuously harass me with billing reminders even though I paid on time. However, I just called them and a few other companies about a cooling problem we're having -- during this current hot, sweaty summer -- and they're the very last company to get back to me with a date. Today they offered to come fix the issue next week - 2 full weeks after I called them. They're very nice when it comes time to provide prospective clients with an estimate and they send an charming employee named John to do the sales pitch, but he is no where to be found when there's a problem and they refuse to provide a direct contact #. Given the amount of money they charge, they treat their clients with very little respect or care once the job is complete. Beware and make sure you go to the Unico website and check out the other certified installers.
