Came out late on Sunday night and made sure the house was safe. Came back the next day and completed the job to my satisfaction. I called one of the big chain electrician’s in the yellow pages and by the time their dispatcher called 90 minutes later, Toby Hollander was at our home. Very pleased with response time and the quality of the work.

Guys @ Hollander did a great job repairing my attic fan. They ran into some unforeseen issues, but they cut me a deal and fixed everything right. The work was done in a timely manner and the workers were polite and courteous. They are also open 24/7 for emergency work! If you need some electric work done, don’t call some shlub, call the professionals @ Hollander. I will utilize their service in the future.

Hollander Electric was referred to me by a friend and I couldn’t be more pleased with the work they did. They came when they said they would and were extremely neat while doing high quality work. Toby did a fantastic job and stayed until 7 pm on a Friday night despite it snowing to finish up. I will definitely be using Hollander for my future electrical needs.

We had a very positive experience with Hollander. Our heat wasn’t working on Thanksgiving (when it was 20 degrees). Steve answered the phone at 10:20pm and was able to get Toby to our house the following day by 1:30pm over a holiday weekend. Great customer service and our heat is working fine now. Will definitely be using them for future issues.

We have used Hollander Electric’s team of electricians over the years for the routine repairs and upgrades. They have always given us very a good service and that is typically what one would expect from a certified master electrician. However, my positive impression of this firm was further reinforced on 2018 Labor day (Sept 3, 2018).

I called Hollander electric when it appeared that our chandelier motor was not responding after I had brought the chandelier down for cleaning. Although this was a holiday, Steve took the call and said that for this problem he needed to check with another electrician as Steve was not 100% certain about the specific motor model we had. Steve called me within 15 minutes and over the phone gave me the necessary information on which part might need replacing (it was a fuse, by the way). Once I replaced the fuse, I was able to get the chandelier back up and a huge domestic crisis was also averted in the process.

It was clear to me that although Steve could have charged me his usual fee for a visit, he gave me the right advice for free, took immediately care of this customer’s need, and that too on a holiday. In the process, he certainly earned a lot of goodwill from me and my family. I will happily recommend this firm to anyone needing quality electrical work to be performed in our area. Thanks!

I called Steve the owner when we lost power through half our house and he talked me through diagnosing what the problem was and that it was likely a utility company issue (which it was), and that we didn't need his services at that time. We were in need of a panel upgrade and so I contacted Steve later and he was able to come out right away to give us an estimate and to discuss some additional things we wanted put in. When the day came they were very professional and got the job done correctly and up to code as checked by the town inspector. If you're looking for a great local electrician who knows his stuff, answers his own phone, develops a detailed quote before work starts, and sticks to it, then Hollander Electric is your company.

I called Hollander Electric to put up two ceiling fans from scratch because I was fed up with having to light up the house with lamps. I didn't expect to get someone in the same day, but they showed up as promised. Toby and his helper were diligent and went beyond their work scope. These two were absolute sweethearts! Toby has plenty of knowledge regarding his field of work, but he also gave me valuable advise on other projects I was tackling at the time. I highly recommend this company! In fact, I just called them to do another project on "Independence Day" out of all days, and Steve picked up the phone. He's going to see how soon he can get someone over on this holiday weekend. Now that's service everyone can use!

We used Hollander Electric after a power outage. Although Steve was super busy in the aftermath of Storm Isaias, he was able to get to us in the schedule right away. He got us set up with a great generator at a very reasonable price. I would happily recommend any family member or friend to Hollander Electric. A++

It was a semi-emergency when my air conditioning broke down amidst a July heatwave. After learning it was due to an electrical issue, I called Hollander and they confirmed that they do work on both AC & electrical issues, which is what I was looking for.

I called at 4pm on a Friday knowing it was late, and I figured I'd be without AC for at least a day or two. I was willing to pay the extra cost for expedited service for them to come tomorrow. An hour or so later, they called me back and asked if I wanted them to come TONIGHT for the repair. Of course I said yes!!

Toby arrived promptly, diagnosed the issue quickly, and did a great job. I needed an old breaker to be replaced due to corrosion, and he gave my circuit breaker box a little bit of a tightening and tuning-up that it so desperately needed. Toby was great and I highly recommend both he and Hollander Electric. Their expedited service was wonderful and a lifesaver when I really needed it!

First, let me say the service response time by Hollander Electric was great after reaching out to Hollander Electric at 10:00 pm to address an ongoing electrical issue at my home.
I was contacted first thing the following morning and given a timeline when the electrician would be over. Toby Hollander came to my home, diagnosed the cause of the electrical issue, pointed out the defective breakers and replace them. Outstanding customer service and fair pricing.
It’s hard to find this level of customer service and timely repair.
I will be keeping Hollander Electric on speed dial for any electrical issues in the future.

Found out at 9am on a hot day that the AC on my mothers estate was not up to code. We needed it brought up to code and file a permit with North Brunswick Township by the end of the day so we could close on the property we were selling. After calling several businesses and being told they could not help us I call Hollander. Steve Hollander answered the phone, I explained our dilemma and he immediately understood. Township offices had been closed for months due to covid19 and getting a CO so you could close on a sale was very frustrating. He told me they had a busy day of scheduled work but he would get his crew out to my mom’s house and get the AC up to code and fill out the permit we needed by days end. His crew showed up on time and found there was more to the job then anticipated. They remained calm told me not to worry they will figure out a way to get it done. These guys were great they took a little time to come up with a plan and with a little improvising got the Job done. The whole time being as polite and professional as can be. Being a home owner for 35 years I’ve dealt with a lot of contractors by far this was my best experience. I followed the guys back to their garage and Steve came out with my permit filled out and stamped. I found out while telling him how happy I was with the service that his son was the crew chief on my job,.Great job Steve not only do you run an excellent business you raised a wonderful son!!! I will be using Hollander for all my AC Heating and electrical needs in future.

We have been using Hollander Electric for our electrical work at a commercial property. Steve had his team come by over the weekend to do emergency work. Toby and Scott are hard-working and honest men that will shoot straight with you every-time. They do not cut corners, and do not leave until the job is done. We are extremely pleased with the work Hollander electric has done so far, and will continue to use them in the future.

We were on a very tight deadline and Hollander Electric was very responsive and fast to help us to get the work done. Very communicative and amazing service. Josh showed up on time, even on short notice, and was capable, efficient and friendly. Got my heating back up and running again within the day. Can’t thank them enough!

Toby/Steve and team did a fantastic job for our family hot tub - from initial groundwork to final electrical connection. It was done with great price and exemplary customer service throughout. Also, they were helpful for extra small electrical jobs. We will request their help again for more projects and we do highly recommend them. :)

I hired Hollander Electric to rewire the equipment pad for an outdoor pool and spa as well as wire a new automation system. When the pool company came to open the pool, they commented on how impressed they were with the electrical work. They said in all their years of opening pools, they had never seen such fine electrical work, and that it was an "awesome" job. Thank you Hollander Electric and Toby for taking such pride in your work. Worth every penny!

Very thorough, very honest!! Hollander was recommended to us 3 years ago, and we continue to call them for all of our electric needs and concerns. Toby takes his time and puts a real focus on safety. If it wasn’t for Toby’s competence as a skilled electrician, who knows if my house would still be standing. They are professional and reliable. No matter how large or small the job, definitely give Hollander a call!

I am happy with the great customer service and good quality of work. After Toby fixed our initial breaker problem, he took extra time to investigate the wiring on the attic by my request. He showed me some photos and explained to me what action I should take to prevent a bigger problem. He even found another issue outside of the house and gave me an honest advice. I was in the middle of a bathroom remodeling and the installer discovered a hidden electric box. I called Hollander Electric as they had done a smaller job for me earlier this past summer. Even though they said they were pretty much booked up, they rearranged their staff to accommodate me. The technician, Josh, did a great job to my satisfaction. Although a bit more expensive than I had anticipated, I was happy to have an experienced person take care of my problem within 2 hours of my calling them. I would definitely recommend their services to my friends, family and I will definitely request their services again should I need anything else done.

Hollander Electric did an amazing job. Steve was very responsive and attentive. He took care of my home as if it was his own and cleaned up after the job.
