Contacted Mainstream to service my furnace. Steve was very responsive and worked with me to find a time that would be convenient to complete the service. My older furnace is working great and I now have the confidence it will be reliable and safe through the cold months. Highly recommend.

Mainstream Plumbing & Heating came highly recommended to us more than 10 years ago. Over those years we’ve had multiple projects and Steve has handled all of them in a completely professional manner. From valve replacements, to a natural gas line install for our generator, to complete replacement of our hot water heater he does it all and always with quality parts and equipment. And Steve is very responsive to requests for service; often he picks up the call directly, and if not, calls back very quickly after we leave messages. We have recommended Maintstream to our extended family and friends in the past and would not hesitate to do so in the future.

Steven at Mainstream plumbing has been fantastic for 14 years since we moved to Glen Rock. He has tackled large and small jobs. The water here is wicked hard, and there are a lot of problems that come from that. I would recommend mainstream to anyone in the area. He is prompt, communicative, fair priced, and NICE. Thoughtful solutions and un afraid of crawl spaces. I will not call anyone else.

Steve is our go-to for plumbing problems big and small. He responds quickly without having to chase for an appointment. Regardless of the size of the job, he is able to identify the problem and take care of it quickly and professionally. Pipes for baseboard heating making a lot of noise? Steve fixed it. New hot water heater install? Steve fixed it. Run a gas line to a new pool heater? Steve did it. That’s in addition to the generic clogged drains or faucet installation. No need to look to anyone else.

Steve showed up today at the expected time and helped to quickly diagnose a problem with our laundry plumbing. He did the repair, returned laundry machines to their respective places and cleaned up any debris left from the repair. He has been to our home many times for various repairs/replacements. He is always kind, courteous and honest.

Steven from Mainstream Plumbing did an incredible job with our existing sump pump/pit. We had two pumps that were not working as well as other components that were improperly installed to put it mildly. He fixed and re-worked all the pieces in a way that came out highly streamlined and functional. Steven is skilled and experienced in the field and also an honest person that takes the time to communicate and explain the situation in a way that makes sense.

Our water heater leaked on a Friday about three weeks ago. We called Steven and he offered to come right away on a Friday night. He pumped the water out and ordered new water heater and installed on Monday. He could not be more helpful as always. We have been relying on Steven’s excellent services for many years and always very pleased with his services. He is knowledgeable, responsive and very good at what he does.

Easy to communicate with, timely and extremely affordable pricing. We have already had Steven work at our house a couple of times and will continue to do so! He replaced our basement pump a few years ago and installed a new Reverse Osmosis filter under our sink more recently. Left the area clean and tidy afterwards. No issues at all. We highly recommend Steven at Mainstream Plumbing & Heating. Our first experience with Mainstream Plumbing & Heating was in 2020 during Covid when we lost hot water in our house. Our previous plumber went out of business and luckily Steven was available. He diagnosed the issue and explained that we needed a new water heater. Even though supply was tight, he was able to find a new Rheem water heater and install it quickly. We previously bought a warranty extension kit for our old water heater and even though previous plumber installed it, Steven promised to file claim with manufacturer to reclaim money for us. We were pleasantly surprised that Steven contacted us a few months later to give us the warranty money that he recovered. We are extremely grateful for his honesty and integrity!
Throughout the years he has fixed the toilet flush valves in 2 of our bathrooms, fixed clogged bathroom sink and replaced the drain and replaced a leaking shower fixture. Most recently he troubleshooted the loss of water pressure in our kitchen and discovered that the shut off valves had failed and discharged debris towards the faucet causing a blockage issue.
Steven’s work is impeccable and he is always prompt, clean and utilizes the best materials. He explains the problem clearly and provides fair estimates given his expertise and quality of work.
