I recently had a disastrous experience with Sears' AC technicians. The visit was a mess from start to finish. The technician left my attic lights on, scattered my garden hose all over the yard, and then had the nerve to tell me I should clean my air conditioning unit myself. When I pointed out that this was supposed to be their responsibility, he claimed it was just about diagnosis.

Things only got worse when I spoke with customer service, who listed a long list of maintenance tasks that were not even attempted by the technician. And to top it all off, I was informed that I'd have to pay extra for a follow-up visit to get the job done properly - on top of the $140 I already shelled out for nothing. Avoid Sears at all costs.
