We were almost through the winter heating season but right before a late March cold snap, our 30+ year old hot water boiler system gave out. The RA Nichol team including Mike Pino — who worked on replacement of one of our A/C zones last year — had a replacement up and running within days. Very pleased with the quality and value of the installation.

Excellent service! Jeremy is very knowledgeable and took his time to focus on the problems/solutions. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of plumbing services.

Gregory did a wonderful job today. Such a teacher as he explained to me how a compressor worked in my unit and solid advice on energy savings. Always a great experience with this company. So fortunate to have found them. :-)

I called RA Nicholas when I smelled a slight scent of gas in my basement. Within a few hours she had someone at my house. Tyler was so thorough and corrected the serious problem immediately. He made me feel so comfortable with what he was doing and explained everything in detail. The prices were very fair and he cleaned up everything too. I will be using them again for more updates and service. Highly recommend!

Upstairs hvac system had a problem. Repairman was sent. I received an email with his picture and info. He also stayed until unit as running and heat was established.

Mike directed a crew that did a superb job replacing AC/furnace! They kept us updated on EVERYTHING going on. They were careful respecting our house and answered each question we had. We will highly recommend them!

Alex did a quick & thorough work. He explained the issue clearly and was able to fix it in that visit itself. The estimate provided was also reasonable, comparatively less than another plumber's estimate. I would recommend and use R A Nichols for any plumbing issues in my house.

More people should be like this Bryan polite, courteous, very, very knowledgeable in what he was doing, and explained everything in detail and in a way that I could understand. He did an inspection of plumbing in the house and did repairs where needed gave estimates for other things to be done at a later date. RA Nicholas should be happy as Bryan does an excellent job in representing the company.He is the best!!!!

R.A.Nichols has done repair work at my house a few times in the last year for different issues. I have been very pleased with them. They show up when promised, are very respectful and pleasant, trustworthy and efficient. I’m very happy to have found them after feeling others who have done work may have ripped me off. I actually have now signed up for their maintenance plan and already see then benefits.

Once again, RA Nichols did a wonderful job. I got an inspection of all plumbing in my house. Moose (love the name) was knowledgeable and pleasant. He checked everything carefully and made valuable comments about the condition and expected life of each item. He replaced some old plumbing under my kitchen sink before he left. They will replace my old hot water heater soon. I highly recommend them.

If you need Hvac, plumbing service you have to use RA Nichols. The service was exceptional, the technician Conner was top notch and extremely patient and knowledgeable. I’ve worked with Justin from RA Nichols for years—he originally handled all the plumbing and boiler work at my home himself. Over time, he’s moved up within the company and has become a trusted consultant for all the major home services I’ve needed. His knowledge and honesty are unmatched.

Most recently, I needed to replace my old 25-year-old A/C system. Justin came by, assessed the setup, and walked me through several options. I was still running on oil heat, and while the boiler was newer, he showed me how moving to a heat pump system with backup oil heat could save me money in the long run. It wasn’t just a sales pitch—he gave me real numbers, explained the pros and cons, and helped me make a decision I felt good about.

I ended up going with a Daikin FIT heat pump, and the system is incredible. I’m even getting a $2,000 tax credit next year. His install crew—Mike, Greg, and Sofia—were outstanding. Clean, courteous, and took care of every detail. Now I can control my home’s heating and cooling system from my phone, even when I’m out on the water.

Justin and the entire team at RA Nichols have earned my trust over the years, and they’ll continue to be my go-to for anything HVAC or plumbing related. Highly recommend

The service was truly first class. No BS. Gave me options and pricing right away. The job done was impressive. Alex explained everything to me. For plumbing issues in the future I now know who to call for a great job!

Once again I found myself with an emergency plumbing job as my water heater had totally failed and leaked all over the 1st level of my home and needed to be replaced. Due to the job R.A. Nichols had done about 1 month ago I knew who to call.
Once again, they were great. They responded quickly and Jeremy did a wonderful job replacing the water heater and explaining everything to me. He even put me in contact with a company that helped me put in an insurance claim and get started with getting everything cleaned up.

Mustafa was great. Informative and answered any questions that I had. I would highly recommend RA Nichols
