Spectacular is the first word that I think of when I'm in our newly designed home! One meeting with Gus and Laney and we knew this was the right Architectural firm for us. Gus has an amazing gift of reimagining a living space, and after a couple of meetings, he was very clear on the challenges within our home and desires for a new space. His design is functional and yet has a 'WOW' element when looking at the old and new footprint with vaulted ceilings and natural lighting that fills the rooms. His eye for detail and design along with his kind, professional partnership gave us the confidence to know we selected the best! My husband and I are extremely grateful to have worked with Gus, Laney and the entire staff at Morpurgo Architects.

Renovating a new home is very exciting yet hectic at the same time. Choosing the right architect is extremely crucial in the execution of renovating your home. I was lucky to connect with Morpurgo Architects. At first, we started with a small project that Morpurgo didn’t’ mind tackling. When things shifted, we decided to renovate the entire house and Morpurgo Architects were flexible and supported our vision from start to finish. Communication and response time is excellent. Gus is a well experienced architect who puts the needs of his clients first and fully understands the details of every phase. Gus, Laney and Umberto are great at following up to guarantee our satisfaction and the finishing of the project.

Morpurgo did an amazing job with our addition and Pool house. They surpassed our expectations with the entire design. They were extremely responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. Gus and team not only provided input and recommendations, but as the projects progressed, they were available for questions and suggestions to help our general contractor thru the construction phase. They truly brought the vision to life. We highly recommend their services.

When Gus returned preliminary architectural drawings of our renovation, it was apparent that he had listened to our desires and incorporated them into his plans. Throughout the entire process, we always felt that Gus listened to and often improved upon our ideas and embellished them with his incredible sense of architectural design.

Our favorite quality of Gus is that he is both a true professional and a wonderful person. He cared not only about the project but also about us and our family. We had so many great moments together including a winning performance before our town's zoning board!

Any problem we had throughout the building process we turned to Gus and he had a solution. He's a true mastermind of architecture and thought of design elements that we didn't even know we needed. He was more than just an architect, he was our person to turn to for everything and was more than willing to help with even the smallest details (picking out light fixtures, meeting the tree removal service to ensure optimal lighting, etc.) Gus has the best connections in the industry and helped us find builders that were the right fit for our job and budget. My dream home only became a reality because of Gus. Truly exquisite taste and top notch service.

Goodness, I don't have enough space to explain how amazing Gus, Laney, and the entire Morpurgo team is! We have recently worked on a beautiful historic home together in Nutley, NJ and their attention to detail exceeded our expectations. Not to mention they are the loveliest couple in the world! Gus took the time to come out to the job and help us with an issue we had after dissecting the framing of the older home we were working on and came up with a great plan moving forward. They both answered our many phone calls and emails throughout the whole build and helped us stay on track of our deadlines even when we added some last minute change orders to their plate!
