Awesome family business. Steve and Lyn are amazing. The work they do is precise. The world of customization was new to me. They have their own wood shop and can literally build anything you want. Why limit yourself to what’s at Home Depot? Other guys gave me a catalog to pick from...why do that...if you can think it up, they can build it. Highly recommend!

We recently completed a major renovation of our early 20th-century home, which included adding 400 square feet, fully updating bathrooms, and redesigning layouts. It was a substantial project, and we could not be happier with both the outcome and the experience of working with the Vanco team.

This was our second remodel, but our first time working with Vanco — and they truly exceeded expectations. From start to finish, Steve, Ken, Brittany, Mark, and Linda were true partners: responsive, detail-oriented, and deeply invested in ensuring everything turned out right.

I recently used Steve and his incredible Vanco Team to do a major renovation on my home, including replacing ALL of my windows (in a contemporary home with windows everywhere!), a brand new bathroom, extensive painting, and refinished wood floors throughout the entire first level. Not only did they do a great job, but they got it done EXACTLY when I asked them to... just in time for a party I was throwing for a friend, and then Thanksgiving for a larger group of family and friends. Organized, friendly, and dependable -- I highly recommend Vanco, and would use them again in a heartbeat -- worth every penny!

We highly recommend Vanco Construction, Steve Vanadia, its owner, and Steve’s team. We hired Vanco Construction for our home remodel – this included stripping half our house to its studs, complete rebuild of the top floor, and renovation of our basement from raw into living space.
Ken, the project manager, was a gem. He listened carefully to our needs and preferences and provided expert guidance throughout the process. He promptly addressed our questions or concerns while managing the subcontractors. The craftsmanship and attention to detail in the finished space are impressive. Brittany, the office manager, kept everything on track and on time. Steve was readily available, and his office was responsive. If anything, we needed to be on top of all our materials to keep up with his team!
This is not to say that there were no issues. In fact, every renovation has an issue or two. Without hesitation, Steve corrected the issue as we requested, despite having to open walls, etc.
Our punch-list was small and was completed by Steve and his team promptly. Vanco met the expected finish date almost to the day. Our experience with Vanco exceeded our expectations, and we’re grateful to the Vanco team for bringing our vision to life!

Steve and his team recently wrapped up an addition and full kitchen renovation to our home this fall. This was our first experience with a major home renovation and we are thrilled with the result. Not only was the project done within the proposed timeline, but he remained within the budget and executed our vision perfectly. Vanco was one of a handful of contractors we interviewed when preparing to kickoff our renovation and we were immediately impressed by his thoroughness, transparency with the process and costs, and proposed project duration.

Having a farmhouse built in 1756, we anticipated challenges during the build. While we did encounter a few surprises along the way, Steve and his team helped us navigate mitigations and adjustments in a quick and timely manner. It clearly became evident that his experience and attention to detail has allowed him to build such a strong rapport with his subcontractors. One of our major goals was ensuring the addition and renovated spaces were cohesive with the rest of the existing living spaces. Steve and his team really executed on this perfectly and we couldn't be happier with the finished product.

Managing a renovation while living in the house with three young children was challenging. However, each person that contributed to our project, from Steve to each electrician, framer, painter, tile installer, etc., showed a great deal of professionalism, dedication, and kindness to our family.

Vanco Construction Inc just finished rebuilding and adding onto our amazing covered deck. Steve was great to work with, and so was his team. The communication is fantastic. Someone is always available (phone/text/email) making sure we are aware of all aspects of the project and usually anticipating and thinking of all the things we didn’t or couldn’t! His subcontractors were equally as great to work with. The professionalim was amazing and really takes a lot of the stress out of the equation. It was fun to come home everyday and see all of the progress the team had made. Our project was finished ahead of schedule and is simply beautiful. If you want a company that is honest, reliable, and truly manages expectations down to the micro details - Vanco Construction Inc is a no brainer. We will be working with them again soon.
