Steve was an absolute pleasure! Very responsive, was able to come out shortly after I called to diagnose the problem with my AC unit. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely an honorable man. Troubleshot the issue, informed and educated me on what can be done, needs to be done, and his recommendation. Work was done excellently and efficiently. Just an all around great experience, and for sure will contact him again for all hvac related issues.

Steve was an angel to come out after 9 pm, in the dark, to repair our AC. We had gone 6 days during a tremendous heat wave and we were so over it. He was so friendly and I cant express my gratitude enough.

I researched online and found some Steve with his reviews on how honest and straight shooter he was. And sure enough, that he is. Look no further folks. He knows his stuff and was kind enough to explain the mechanics enough for me to understand. My heater was up and running again.

Came home from work on a 93 degree day to find the AC not working. Called Essential and Steve answered the phone, which is unusual nowadays. He squeezed us in that same night and about 90 minutes later our AC was working! Price was very fair and we will be using them in the future. Highly recommend!!

My mother had a problem with her heater so we replaced the thermostat and the it worked for a week and had the same problem again.I live in philly and I looked in Google for a reputable company near her I found essential and had my mother call he came out immediately diagnosed her problem (dirty sensor)and the heat is back on and his fee was very reasonable and service was impeccable according to mom. I think my mother has found a hvac technician she can trust and that's important with all the technicians that take advantage of the elderly. Now we both have peace of mind thank you very much .

I don’t have any words that can express how great Steve is. He is simply the best! Every system he has put together been great! Everything done right and perfect!! Plus, he gives great life advices! He’s like a big brother to me!

Long story short- this is who you want to hire when you need a good professional HVAC technician. Steven is honest and a straight shooter... exactly why you need to go with him. Be careful- I was close to hiring someone who seemed honest, only to find online an F rating from the Better Business Bureau and his license was revoked. I am SO glad I did my homework. You’ve been warned! Bad HVAC guys are bad for good HVAC guys like Steven. It’s a shame because when you need AC they know you’re desperate. But it’s so much better to wait a day to hire someone who knows their stuff.

Excellent experience. Tech happened to be right down the street and was technically off the clock but stopped by anyway and helped with my issue as well as made a great recommendation on the next steps forward. Highly recommend them for your HVAC needs.

Responded very quickly, affordable, professional, spoke to us in depth about our issue before coming out and gave us some solutions over the phone to try to help us save money (we couldn't fix it so he came out), he gave us a follow up call to make sure everything was running smoothly! It was the first hot day of summer and air conditioning is not working. I call Essential Heating & Air and the owner arrives within an hour. He is very knowledgeable and methodical when looking over the system. Within 20-30 mins, he had identified the issue and fixed it with no problems. Stand up guy that provides open and honest feedback. Overall, great experience that offers great service with great pricing.

As my luck would have it during the 90° weather my A.C. decides it doesn't want to work. I contacted Steve who was booked, but when I explained that my child was so uncomfortable he squeezed us in. He was here in a timely manner. Very reasonably priced, and such a nice guy! We are so pleased with his service!

This is the second time I called Steve and it was like talking to an old friend. Frankly, I don't know how he does it. He is very responsive, does high quality work, provides amazing customer service and all at a very fair price. I trust him implicitly and I don't bother calling anyone else. Steve went out of his way to juggle his schedule and fix my broken heater in the dead of winter. 3 hours after my initial call my house was warming back up, including two trips out to the house and parts ordered. Fair price, great service. Happy to support local business.
