We recently purchased a new home in Hoboken and had Mettler install our HVAC system. However, when we called them to service the system due to it not working properly, they declined to come back. The reason for this was that they didn't like the contractor who built the home. It's frustrating to hire a company that doesn't stand by their work. Our two air conditioning units on the roof can barely keep our house cool even on extremely hot days, and despite having a full warranty, Mettler refuses to fix the issue. They're a typical bad contractor who takes your money but doesn't deliver on their promises.

This company is unresponsive once payment is made. They don't care about customers after they've handed over money. I had to call another service to fix their botched work. Save yourself the trouble, steer clear of this company. You'll end up paying double and dealing with frustration.

I hired this company to install my home's heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system during a recent renovation. They were supposed to provide maintenance under a one-year service agreement for free after the installation. However, they had to come back three times to fix their botched work, each time acting like the problem was with me, not them. Every time, it turned out that their initial work wasn't done correctly.

The issue persists - my bedroom and bathroom are still without AC despite it being July. The company is now refusing to service my system, citing excuses about needing a break during holidays (which they claimed would be coming up on the 4th) and then later claiming they're too busy during weekends. They claim they'll get to it after the weekend, six days after I first reported the problem.

It's infuriating that this company takes no responsibility for their subpar work, making excuses about "deserving" a break while I'm left without AC - something I paid thousands for. When I reached out to another HVAC company, they arrived within four hours and fixed the issue. I suspect it's because my money is already paid and the one-year service agreement is free. If you're okay with not having AC during Independence Day, this company might be your solution.

Installed heat pump and thermostat, which failed after less than a year. When we asked about the issue with the fan continuing to run on the heater, we were told there was no problem. The company claimed their work would be done at no cost but sent us a bill for over $1,000 anyway. We didn't feel heard or assisted in finding the cause of the malfunction - they just seemed uninterested in helping us resolve the issue.
