I was very impressed by the work done by Fernando and his crew, Cavado Concrete does a Top-Notch Job every time, they work clean and their jobs are completed on budget and on time, Every Time!!! I would highly recommend Cavado Concrete to anyone looking to have been quality, long lasting Concrete work done, noone does it better!

We used Cavado Concrete to install the concrete around our new pool and pool house. They did an amazing job and was less than what our pool builder was going to charge. Very happy with timelines and quality of the work. Would definitely use them again!!!

We hired Cavado after extensive research into polished concrete floors. There are few companies in the area that do residential work. Cavado was initially very responsive and helpful explaining the entire process.
We put our deposit down in mid-June and were told that they were about four weeks out. By mid-July, we still hadn’t been given a start date. After repeatedly emailing and calling we were told they were delayed by weather (still not sure I understand this as our job was completely indoors) and that we were next up on the schedule. They didn’t begin work until the end of August. Almost six weeks after our estimated start date.
We were told by Fernando that we didn’t have to pour new concrete as the floor we wanted polished was already concrete. After three days of working, my husband received a call to come home and look at the floor. The old asbestos tile glue reacted with the stain and looked terrible. You would think they would have known this prior to starting. Maybe they don’t have enough residential experience. At this point we had no choice but to pay the additional cost to have new concrete poured and leveled. They did take $500 off the price but it would have saved a huge headache if we had known this was a possibly prior to starting.
The finished product looks nothing like their social media pictures. There are low spots all over which were not polished with the buffer. It makes the floor look dusty and dirty. There is a circle mark from the buffer smack in the middle of the room. Around the walls and door jambs is shoddy, rushed work. For $7500 I expected much, much more. Especially since they started from scratch with the new concrete.
We sent several emails to Fernando with responses that he would get right back to us. When my husband sent an email stating that he didn’t appreciate being ignored - he received the response that the entire crew had the flu but someone would be out with an industrial buffer to help with the low spots. I waited 20 days before sending another email - all about giving the company a chance to make the situation right. I also received no response.
Communication is not this company’s strong suit. They were great until we put down our deposit and the communication came to a halt. I guess that should have been a red flag. I blame the owners. The workers that were here everyday worked hard and were honest with us. Aside from an incident when they didn’t call to say they had finished for the day and left the area open for our cats to walk on. And they did.
Bottom line - unless you are a huge commercial job, don’t hire this company. They clearly only care about the bottom line of big customers and don’t have the experience with residential. I would hate to see anyone else as disappointed as we are with such a huge investment
As far as I’m concerned, they stole $7500 from us. Also not a member of the BBB. Wonder why.
