All reviews for Swain Contracting

Friendly, knowledgable team!! They were thorough and careful and did the job quickly.

I had basement windows installed, they were done very neatly, indoors and outdoors. They were professional and courteous at all times. I will highly recommend Swain to anyone needing their services.

We had our old, metal Bilco door replaced with a fiberglass, hatch style door. The concrete was re-conditioned and the hinge mechanism was tied into the vinyl siding. Overall a tidy, clean and attractive installation. I would recommend Swain Contracting for your new Bilco door. They came to see the old door before giving us multiple options and only required a small deposit to get the ball rolling.

Austen and his team were professional, competent, and communicated well. Austen has a great attention to detail. If you need an egress window, Swain contracting is an easy button 👍

Great work !

Austin and his team were great. They worked with me on the style of egress I was looking for. Very friendly and responsive.

Austin was knowledgeable, professional and considerate. We could not be more pleased with his work

My only disappointment is that I cannot give Swain Contracting ⭐️TEN STARS! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Austen and his team were professional and attentive🏘️ I will absolutely be calling on them again for an future work that needs to be done🏘️

The crew installed an egress window in my basement and cleaned up quickly within two days as promised. The professional young man that ran the job has a bright future ahead of him. I highly recommend this company.

Swain replace my egress window well. They did an excellent job installing the new well and restoring the area that had to be excavated. The area looks better than it did before the window well was replaced!

They absolutely did a fantastic job. Very professional, neat, clean and care about their work. I hired them without really much knowledge of their business. I would definitely use them in the future. Please see their facebook page for their work!

I have contracted swain LLC for many projects through the years and I have yet to be dissapointed. Their work is of high quality and most importantly their customer service is second to none. Always serving their customers to exactly what they want and need.

I recently had a Bowman Kemp Well Egress system installed at my home by Swain, LLC.The process from project proposal to final installation was professionally and expertly handled by Austen Eisenhart and his team.

The entire installation of the system was completed in one day and handled neatly and in a well organized manner. I now have peace of mind that in the event of an emergency, my lower level entertainment area in my home can be quickly exited with ease.

I would give Austen and Swain, LLC my highest recommendation.

Swain LLC came out to replace my window well egress system. Austen was so friendly and helpful from day one. He was able to diagnose my issues just though a phone call and some photos and gave me a rough estimate before even coming out to my house. Once I agreed with the rough estimate he came out and looked over the the egress and we talked about my concerns. He worked on and completed the work in one day (the same week as the original phone estimate). All in all, he was able to fix all of issues in under one week from the time I called him. I highly recommend this company as they specialize in egress systems and I feel this is something your typical handy man might not be equipped to handle.

Couldn’t be more satisfied not only with the new Bilco doors but with timely, professional service we received. I would (and have already) recommended Swain to a friend. Thank you Austin for kindness and service.

Austen was very responsive and personable which is why we intially hired him. He came out and discussed the job with us, provided us a good estimate and completed the work quickly. We would recommend him to anyone looking for an egress window

Swain was there when I needed them. I had a leaking window one night and they showed up the very next morning. He was able to fix the issue and do it for a fair and reasonable price. Super professional and does great work. Thanks for your help!

In most cases when I have hired a contractor to do work for me I am disappointed after the work is complete, however that was not the case with Swain LLC. I hired Austen to address a couple of my basement window wells that were not properly draining. Austen and his dad were excellent from the start. They worked with me to understand the scope of the project and the best way to address the issue and best options for new window wells. On the day of the work, they showed up on time, took extra precautions to prevent disturbing any more of my lawn than what was absolutely necessary and performed excellent quality work. They went out of their way to ensure I understood what the cause of my drainage issue was as they progressed with the digging and implemented a great solution to address it. I also really appreciated the fact that both Austen and his dad were personable and we had some great conversations while they were at my house. I usually don’t take time to write reviews but felt that in this case I would because of how happy I was with how the project went. I would definitely recommend Swain LLC to any of my friends and family.

From the first moment Austen came to my home to provide the estimate, I knew he was the appropriate person for the job. He was punctual for the estimate and maintained clear lines of communication from the securing of the permit to the delivery of the parts as well as execution on the day of. His family/team were all very pleasant and hardworking and took care with our home. They were done on time and did a fantastic job. I would definitely recommend them if you're looking for an egress window/Bilco door.

Spectacular. We had issues with water coming into the basement through the window and after unsuccessfully trying a number of approaches, turned to Swain. They did an incredible job and delivered exactly as promised for a very reasonable price. While excavating, they must have unknowingly bumped a sprinkler line (wasn’t on so no way to know) which we realized months later when we turned the sprinklers back on for the summer. We reached out and received a response almost immediately that they’d be by the next day to fix. Just don’t see service like this anymore and highly recommend Swain. From start to finish, a wonderful experience!

Swain Contracting installed a new Bilco Door for us on November 30, 2023. They did an amazing job, from removing the old, rusted door, to installing the new door, complete with new masonry all around the perimeter. They were professional, efficient, neat, and did beautiful work! When the door was completely installed, Austen even took the time to polish the exterior!!! All in all, these folks are a pleasure to deal with, and are absolute perfectionists in their field! I would recommend them to anyone!
