All reviews for Luminous Electric LLC

Nick, the owner of Luminous, has been my “go-to” master certified electrician for both complex jobs that required a lot of smart, strategic thinking, like adding a sub-panel, and straightforward installs like adding extra outlets or new indoor and outdoor lighting. He is definetely a tremendous asset for any builder, general contractor or homeowner. He will also handle all permits and inspections for you. Highly recommend Nick and Luminous Electric.

Used these guys for a generator install. They are willing to take work when other electricians will say they are too busy. These guys are a good value and great service. This was the second time I was quoted by them for a home project, but the first time I used them. I would use them again. They are fast efficient and responsive to your needs.

Having over 50 years old electrical boxes in my house, I needed to update and upgrade my electrical system. With no previous major electrical work done, I was concerned about hiring anyone at random. I decided to check out my options to hire at Angies List. Number of licensed electricans showed up as a result of my search. Started calling and making appointments to see what needed to be done and what would it cost me.

The owner of Luminuous Electric Nick came instead of sending someone else to address my concern. Unlike some other companies, he came at the date and time he said he would. He knew exactly what needed to be done, how long it would take, and what it would cost.

It was obvious for me that he was
professional in his work. His price was also far more reasonable than what others have quoted me. I decided to hire him.

He called me in advance to confirm that he was going to be here on the date promised. Showed up with his crew, worked as a team, and finished the work to my satisfaction. His team is very courteous, friendly, and professional. Once the work was done, everything was tested and worked flawlessly. They cleaned up any mess caused during the process before leaving.

I checked online for the brand of the equipment they used. I was excited and happy to find out that they were among some of the best quality that are recommended by other professionals in the field.

Few weeks after, the inspector came and approved all the work Luminuous Electric did around the house. Nick also showed up on the day of the inspection. I was happy to see how he takes responsibility and takes the work he has done seriously. He called back immediately when I had to call him a few times to ask some basic questions.

It has been two months now and everything is working perfectly without any issues. I have hired him for the 2nd time to install a new security system to my home. Once again, they showed up on schedule, did a excellent job, and left once everything was tested working.

Luminuous Electric is the company I will hire again if I need any work done. Also, without any hesitation, I would highly recommend it to anyone who would ask me for a recommendation.

We needed electrical work done in various rental units and Nick and his team were fantastic to work with. Promptly responses to emails and texts throughout all the projects, willing to work around our schedules for appointments, and also helped us when we were in a crunch and needed work done ASAP. COI was required in the various units and they promptly acquired all necessary paperwork and sent it over without delay. Extremely reasonably priced and I appreciated that they did not push unnecessary work to be done and even gave me suggestions for alternative cost lowering options for our projects. Most importantly they know what they are doing and will complete the job as promised, no fuss no muss. On several occasions, Nick has even answered some general questions I had and given me his diagnosis of the issues without charge. Will only call them for any electrical work now!

Nick has come to our house numerous multiple times. They are all so, so nice. Their work is excellent and their prices are completely reasonable. We will always call Nick if we need electric work. I highly recommend them.

Nick is an excellent electrician...always timely, diligent, a no nonsense guy. Does what he says, and is professional, but not stiff. Takes time to explain his work. I am a general contractor and I trust and recommend him highly.

I had a very positive experience with Luminous Electric. Nick was professional, courteous and meticulous. I discussed with him what I wanted and he made suggestions and recommendations. Nick is reliable and a true professional. I will be using him again in the future.

Was looking to redo my kitchen’s electrical and I had heard about the outstanding service from the contractor I hired so I had to check out Luminous. The price was less than what I expected and the work was done so professionally and meticulously that I was overwhelmed by how amazing my kitchen came out. I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for affordable and extremely professional work. If I could rate them more than 5-Star, I would. Outstanding job!

I really truly enjoyed working with these guys. Nick and his team switched out my electrical panel 200 amp. In and out quickly cleaned up their mess. They were professional great customer service & great value for the services they offer. I will use them again in the future.

Luminous Electric did a great job with our electric service upgrade and breaker panel replacement. Very neat work, courteous, prompt and competitive pricing. Nick and his team made sure that everything was done right and explained the options and plan to address our needs thoroughly. They went above and beyond to make a this project go off without a hitch and surprisingly quick. A perfect electrical contractor, definitely will recommend to those who don't already use him!

Nick and his crew at Luminous Lint have all of the qualities one looks for in an electrician professional in terms of good communication skills and workmanship. In their most recent job for me in a century old multi-unit building in Bergen County, he rewired the entire apartment up to code, installed multiple lighting fixtures and a ceiling fan and two GFI breakers. His estimates are complete and reasonably priced, the crew is professional and courteous and the work was completed to my complete satisfaction. Ditto on another occasion when he needed to troubleshoot and address numerous hard-wired fire detectors in the common areas which included multiple visits due to unanticipated challenges. It's great working with Nick and his crew, hard-working, responsible electricians!

Nick has worked on few of our homes and has done a great job on all. We have recomended him to many people since then and everyone was impressed by his work ethic and the quality of his work. He is efficient and can be trusted fully. We need more guys like him that’s for sure!

Awesome guys. Hired them for a standard job and they are the best value -- very down to the earth professionals. All others I talked to tried to tell me how hard the job is. It is not and we all know it. and he's the only person who says "yeah sounds standard". And it is standard but still excellent outcome. On time, great job, everything finished, and a happy customer who would use them again without any hesitations.
Highly recommend! Thanks!

I was extremely pleased with the service that I received from this company. Nick is extremely professional, prompt and very knowledgeable of his work. My kitchen doesn't get enough of natural light and he made magnificent improvements to the area. I highly recommend him.

Nick and his team were truly amazing. We had to add a new elelcteical line for a dishwasher. The work was spotless and done at a very reasonable price. I would recommend Nick and his team any day and will definitely engage his services for our future projects.

Pete was so nice and professional, he did an amazing job and was willing to rush the job so I could plug in my new Tesla! I highly recommend this electrician and company!

Nick came to my house to add some outdoor lighting in my backyard, and at the side of my house. Nick was one of 2 electricians that came to my house for an estimate. Nick came in at a better price, and did an awesome job. He was very professional, prompt, and his work exceeded our expectations. I am happy to be a referral for him.

An Amazing experience! After having 4 different electricians work for me at my projects.Nick and his team did an exceptional job. He corrected/updated multiple issues throughout the entire project. He was so good I gave him more work and will continue to use him. Highly recommend.

Nick has been working on our residences for few years now and he recently finished work at our new house in Short Hills NJ. He has done many electrical
jobs for us including recessed lighting, upgrade to 200 amp service, rewiring, moving outlets around, installing lighting fixtures and much more. Nick is professional, efficient and his work is impeccable. I highly recommend him to all of my friends and family all the time. Thanks Nick!

I highly recommend and will use Nick again without hesitation. Nick and his crew just completed a job involving the installation of 6 light fixtures and rewiring of a room that was not up to code in a rental property I own in Englewood Cliffs. Of all the electricians I’ve worked with in the past, Nick tops the list. He communicated everything the job required clearly, gave a fair price, and put safety first. FIVE STARS.

I have used Nick at Luminous a few times now. He is VERY responsive, professional and pricing is very fair. He does an excellent job and follows up to make sure everything is running smoothly. I would definitely recommend using Luminous for ANY electrical need. I am VERY happy with his service & professionalism.
