Lou from Comfort Works is the best! He's my go to HVAC guy! He always answers my calls and texts whenever I've had HVAC issues. He's fast and honest with his service. He'll diagnosis the problem and have you up and running before you know it. My biggest HVAC issue and first experience with Lou was when he replaced my air conditioning units (duel zone) when the originals bit the dust. He did it for THOUSANDS LESS than the quote I got from the "Orange Company." He's been doing business for 30+ years and I highly recommend giving him a call! If you don't want the best value and service... call someone else!

I called Comfort Works bc my A/C stopped working on a very hot day. They sent someone out that day within the hour. Jared & John came out to my house quickly and found the problem easily. Jared was extremely nice and explained everything in detail of how he fixed it. Jared also said if we had any other problems to call his company and he would come back out to help--no problem. I was very happy with their company...awesome customer service, extremely professional, and great prices!! I would highly recommend them!!

We called them in October to take a look at our old system and found out we needed a new one. Lou educated us on all of our options and even helped us get awesome financing for the new Mistubishi system they installed in our house. We have a zoned system now and it’s much more efficient. We only hang out in a few rooms in our house and this system keeps those specific room the temperatures we want without wasting energy heating other rooms. We already noticed our heating bill is less then last years! Thank you guys for the awesome job!!!

Comfort Works did a great job on my renovation project. I decided to go with the mini splits and did away with the furnace. I was a little hesitant at first because I just was not familiar with it. I made the right choice. Most houses in my development are very hot upstairs. My house is perfect upstairs. Actually a little too cold. I have 4 zones and I can control every zone separately. It was a big project and to be honest I don't know how I came across Comfort Works but I'm glad I did. Keep up the good work.

4.9 stars, these guys are top notch. We replaced our old high velocity AC system over the summer with Mitsubishi mini splits and we love the way they work and the install looks great. We were so impressed that we replaced the old oil boiler with a Navien combo unit (natural gas) and it is so nice to have good heat again.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. Lou Denny and Jared are the consummate professionals. In a day and age where customer service and diligence are hard to find, these guys go above and beyond the call of duty. Their years of experience show clearly through their expertise in this space and I would not hesitate to recommend them to any of my friends and family for HVAC services. Lou's grandson Mason was also fantastic. Having their entire team in our home was a pleasure. They did everything they said they would do and thoroughly explained why they were doing so. We could not be happier with the outcome. We will use Comfortworks for all of our future HVAC needs, and you should too. You will not regret using this company.

I called Comfortworks for an issue with my furnace that I could not diagnose or fix. They were able to get a technician to me surprisingly fast for the time of year. They were thorough in the diagnosis for a very low fee and gave us options for the repair. They also worked very diligently to find and confirm a warranty for the expensive parts and expedite the shipping. I am a pipefitter by trade and primarily install HVAC systems, I could not be happier or more impressed with Comfortworks! These are my guys now. I highly recommend Comfortworks to anyone who needs a HVAC contractor for any issue.

If you are looking for a trustworthy, knowledgeable company to assist with your HVAC needs call Lou and his team. Every person I spoke to was a delight. And Jared, the technician was amazing. He quickly diagnosed the issue, ordered the part, returned the very next morning and within an hour my heat was back up and running.

Lou and his team are phenomenal with Jared leading the multiple installs I have gotten along with great service on existing units. House and business are ice cold in summer and warm in the winter. Highly recommend!

Comfortworks came out to our house to repair our Heater last week. They came out within 24 hours, and they did a great job. Since it's getting cold out and I have a child it was important to get my heater fixed. They did a wonderful job, and it didn't cost an arm and a leg. I would recommend them to anyone looking to hire a heating contractor.

Last week I was looking for a local HVAC company to compare against one of the bigger names out there. My A/C had died (Major leak) and my house was reaching 80+ degrees inside. Based solely on a google search for a local, reliable company, I found myself calling Comfortworks at 5pm on a Tuesday. At 5:45pm that same night, Lou, the owner, was at my house doing a full inspection and pricing out multiple options. Pricing was in line with the competition and anytime that's the case, I go with the local company who is part of the community and cares about the quality of work they perform. The next morning I had a printed estimate.
The day after that I called Lou with my decision to move forward.
On Friday, I had a crew that showed up on time - ready to work - willing/patient enough to explain any questions I had - and left the place SPOTLESS afterwards. On Monday I received a follow up call from Lou confirming everything was working and I was happy. Seriously, can't go wrong with this company. Even if you're simply looking for a 2nd opinion - this is the company to call. 5 Stars

Mason was very professional and very thorough in explaining the issue. He also explained what he was doing to repair our split unit, and how to properly clean the filters. We want to make a special note that our split unit is not a Mitsubishi, it's a Senville. This company works on all split units, not just Mitsubishi. Mason was very knowledgeable and kind. He was also very responsive. Thank you all so much!!

Exceptional customer service and assistance. Lou is an outstanding representation of how amazing the company is. Also, it matters to me who I do business with - and Lou had displayed great characteristics and honesty as a person and for the company comfortworks. He didn’t try to hustle me for more, he gave me exactly what I asked for and suggested just one thing - to extend the pad for my AC unit. I sent a ticket in 1130pm, he personally responded right away to my ticket acknowledging my situation, called me first thing the next morning, and came to my home by 9am. Was extremely respectful and polite to me, my family, my home, and my situation. I showed him everything, and told him exactly what I needed. After surveying the area and situation, he immediately and professionally researched what his company could provide for us. He gave several options of AC units to include total cost of labor and taxes so there was no hidden fees or add ons - which I absolutely loved. The price I saw was the price I got. It was very simple and easy to process and complete. He checked the weather and worked with me and the weather to get the next available time which is very fast. Other companies - they do not verify the weather and just schedule when it’s convenient for them. Lou honestly took care of my household of 5 and 2 dogs, and my situation - which I am extremely grateful and appreciative for.

Lou was a pleasure to work with! Our AC unit stopped working and we were going away on vacation that same day. Lou was kind enough to come help us quickly and efficiently to fix our AC and allow us to go on our vacation on time!

4 YEAR UPDATE: Original review was based on a single mini spilt unit installed back in 2018. Since then, Comfort Works LLC installed one additional floor mini split unit, and as of 3 weeks ago, completely replaced my oil heater with an eletric air handler from mitsubishi. Lou Denny, along with his excellent team (I'm talking to you Jared), have single handedly made this old masonry home extremely comfortable. I finally have the luxury of central air...and just in time for summer! As an added bonus, Comfort Works LLC officially made my house "the most energy efficient old house" on the block. Thank you guys once again for making this house, a home for me and my family.

Recently bought a late 1940's masonry home. If anyone has a similar home, you already know how terrible heating and cooling a place with nothing but stone and concrete can be. Our living room needed additional heat for the winter and some type of cooling to keep the humidity down. Comfort Works LLC decided that a mini split unit would be best fitted for the situation. Lou Denny offered me and my wife the single most powerful single room Mitsubishi Mini Split available. 18,910 BTUs of Cooling and 20,289 BTUs of heating! The process was very easy and smooth. Lou promptly responded to all my emails and calls. Jared was our installer. He maintained an excellent line of communication. Gave us updates via text message and actually made time on the weekend to show us how to use the remote and answer all or questions. We've been using it for 4 months now. This unit meets and exceeds my expectations. The cooling is excellent and now in the winter months, the heating has been exceptional. We've been using it as a secondary heating source and it actually helped lower our heating bill. Lou was definitely on point with his recommendation of this unit.

I'm impressed with Comfort Works LLC. They are now my primary choice in company for any and all HVAC issues and/or questions.

I woke up at 6 am on a Sunday with a heat reading of 63 degrees on a very cold winter morning. I called Comfortworks, a local heating and cooling company. Lou Denny called me within an hour and came right out. He quickly found the problem and replaced my condensation pump. He got us back up and running within a half an hour. Lou was professional and honest. I will definitely use Comfortworks again and recommend them as a company you can depend on and trust. Thank you so much Lou. 🙂

I highly recommend Comfortworks !!! It all started with the owner Lou coming out to our home and discussing having 2 Mitsubishi ductless mini splits installed upstairs in 2 bedrooms which is a cape cod and extremely hard to keep cool and warm in the winter.The units will not only help for comfort upstairs but will help take a lot of stress off our main ac unit downstairs.well we ended up getting the 2units installed and we completely satisfied the units are wisper Quiet!! And easy on your eyes.The installation was flawless Jarod and other mechanic sorry forgot your name were Extremely professional and knowledgeable and explained every step of the installation process great job guys thank you. I scoured the internet for an honest, reputable, reasonably priced HVAC company to install an a/c unit. Lou, the owner, was incredibly patient when answering all questions and offering options to meet my budget and needs. The process took a few weeks from the first call as I collected estimates from other businesses. Once I made my wise decision, the process moved rapidly. Our contract left no stone unturned. It was clear what we would pay. The technicians were punctual and very knowledgeable, explained the nuances of this new system, cleaned up any mess from installation, and were...simply put...a class act! I will be sharing my comfort works success story with family and friends. If I could find a mountain locally, I'd shout it from the mountaintop. Keep up the phenomenal work you do...so incredibly well!!

Comfortworks is the business we chose for high-velocity A/C installation in our 1892 colonial-style house. They showed real enthusiasm for the job and attention to detail, always thinking how to maximize effectiveness of the equipment while minimizing the effects of installation on the building and decor.
Jared, the crew chief, explained the work and desired outcome of every step of the installation. His communication and workmanship were excellent.
Our house has 2 zones, each with its own air handler. We now have Google Nest thermostats; YouTube has many videos on how to set them up. The units are very quiet when running and even the living room - about 13' x 29' - gets cooled down quickly. The miserably hot summertime in New Jersey is a lot more bearable now that we have air conditioning in the house.
