Fast, reliable, friendly, and reasonable. I contacted several plumbers and opted to give Reuben my business to replace a hot water re-circulation pump. He diagnosed the issue with pictures I texted him, ordered the part, and installed it quickly. After he left, I noticed a pinhole leak and he returned within an hour to fix it. We'll use Reuben again for any plumbing needs around our house.

I'm a repeat customer - kitchen faucet installation, bathroom faucet cartridge replacements, water filter installation and a hot water heater replacement. Ruben does outstanding work for a very reasonable price. Most highly recommended!

After bad experiences with various other plumbing companies including a national, larger one we called Ruben at Total Plumbing. As in most cases, when you need a plumber, you typically need them right away. Given that it's July 3rd and with the holiday baring upon us we thought for sure we were in for a wait. Not at all! Ruben not only provided same day service, he was here within the hour. The best news was when we described to him our issues, he immediately knew what the problem was and presented us with a solution along with an estimated cost. We were quite impressed with his knowledge. He was extremely professional and courteous. Everyone should have on call those folks who we may need services from on hand at all times. Those include an electrician, lawyer and absolutely a qualified professional plumber. Ruben at Total Plumbing is just that. As of this moment, we have by default fired our previous plumber. Seriously, save this man's number because when a pipe breaks or something goes wrong, water flow and damage has no prejudices and will not wait for slow service arrival or unqualified personnel. Thanks Ruben. We'll call soon sir!

Ruben and his assistant recently re-piped my whole house and replaced the water heater. Not only did he do an outstanding job with the plumbing, but he also patched the walls, retextured them to perfection. You cannot even tell where the sheetrock was replaced. He also replaced the tile in the bathroom where it needed to be removed. I have used TLC, Affordable plumbing, and have had no problems with them except their high prices. Total Plumbing is the one to call if you want great work at affordable prices.

Worst plumber EVER! This guy will intentionally damage your plumbing and cooling so you have to pay him more to fix. Do not recommend to anyone. ZERO STARS!

Ruben was SUPPOSED to repipe my entire home. Living in Rio rancho the Home originally had polybutylene. Ruben decided it would be a good idea to leave 5’ of polybutylene on the main line coming from the water meter with no reason other than “ I do it all the time.” This resulted in a $300 water bill and a $250 emergency call bill from TLC. After going back and forth for nearly a month Ruben finally came too repair the leak while leaving trash and old pipe all over my front yard. Between the yelling at me because of his wrongdoing and the quality work this guy is probably the most unprofessional tradesman I have come along in my career as a tradesmen. 10/10 DO NOT recommend Ruben
