Tina from Hydraulic Mechanical called in response to my post in Home Advisor. I explained to her about the gas dryer I wanted to install. After her sound advice I decided to go with the electric because of the complexity of the job in question. Her honesty, knowledge and integrity, leads me to believe that this company look out after the customer's interest and because of this reason I recommend it. I will definitely use this company.

Hydraulics mechanical was hired by me to replace my old oil boiler to a new gas boiler in my multistory building in Manhattan
I found this company to be highly professional,dependable & reliable.After signing the contract,I didn’t have to bother for anything like dealing with city or coned. They finished the job not only to my expectations but also satisfied DOB & Coned.

Plumbers can be scary especially when there’s an emergency repair. I called Angelo and I’m so happy that I did, he explained everything upfront, arrived the next day with his crew corrected the problem and I had my gas back on in no time. I highly recommend. He’s the real deal.

I can not say enough good things about Hydraulics Mechanical! They came through for us 100% when we were facing a DOB summons. Tina in the office was knowledgeable and responsive, answering all our questions with a smile! Angelo, a master plumber, was diligent and professional. National grid had to cut my gas off because they found a leak . I immediately started shopping around to get my gas cut back on . The first two business, prices were way too high an they wasn’t sure if they could do the job with out tearing down the wall to get to the pipes an we’re only going to replace the one pipe which was galvanized steel . I when to home advisor and found “ Hydraulic mechanical “ they quoted me the best price , they changed all the pipes , cut them right on my property, took the old pipes out in a half hour , took about 3 hours , very professional, efficient and was 800 $ dollars cheaper than the first two businesses. if you have old galvanized steel pipes , National grid just might turn your gas Off because they have been found to have leaks over time , I recommend Hydraulic,s to change your pipes out for better black steel pipes which are better for a good price .

Let me start by saying that Anglo and Tina deserve much more than 5 starts. Not only they are super professionals and they are great people who invest thier heart and soul in each job. I have used thier help multiple times from super complex projects to simple jobs.
I first got to know them as I was looking for a plumber to resolve a gas leak in the building. Each company that I called told me it will take btw 5-8 weeks before I will have the gas back on. Untill I run in to Angelo and Tina they promised that after 1 week we will have the gas back on and they delivered!!
I have also used thier help with changing faucet, water leaks, bathroom accessories.
Recently I had an issue with national grid who decided to turn of the gas to the entire building. Anglo and Tina helped me dealing with all the bureaucracy between the department of building and national grid until the issue was resolved. in matter of fact Angelo me and Tina called on a daily basis to see where is it standing and provided me with status. I can't thank them enough for their help. in the past five years I've been working with many different contractors and I wish all of them we're like Tina and Angelo. Fast and friendly service! Angelo and Tina worked very quickly to resolve my issue (gas service shutdown). They had to supercede another plumbers work due to his poor paperwork. Hydraulics efficiently took care of all the communication and paperwork needed to supercede the other plumbers work and all the permits needed from DOB and national grid. They got my gas line working in a few days (other plumber was gonna take weeks and maybe longer).

I should have used Hydaulics Mechanical from the beginning.

I had a house pipe leak and the gas was shut down in my house. I called Hydraulics mechanical and I was set up with Angelo. He is absolutely the most professional and efficient person you'll find to work on these kinds of problems. Other plumbers I called canceled on me, but Angelo came as soon as he could. He had my gas back on very quickly which is what counts the most. If you have serious plumbing problems, give him a call.

If you’re reading this review, it is due to your due diligence in researching and selecting the best contractor based on certain criteria you want in handling your precious home. My decision with Hydraulics Mechanical Inc. was based on Professionalism, Responsiveness, Quality, Value, Compliance, and Punctuality.

My journey begins with Con Edison due to a random gas leak inspection and meter replacements for my 2-Family Home. Like many NYC residents, my wife and I were shut down until the gas pipe leak was addressed and brought up to code before service can be restored.

Like many of you, I would shop around and figure out how to budget and plan for this type of work around my work schedule. Angelo met with my wife first and impressed her by showing up at the time promised, with his understanding of recent random inspections around NYC and what steps it will take to bring into compliance with Con Edison. Angelo would also come back to my home to involve me as well in the process since work interfered with the first meeting.

Angelo thoroughly walked me through each phase and understand how timelines will impact our installation after we commit and sign a contract. The phase I appreciated the most was Hydraulics Mechanical Inc.'s professionalism in filing for all necessary paperwork, permits, and assistance for inspection. In addition, Hydraulics Mechanical was able to accommodate my personal preference with specific supplies used for the installation of the new pipes.

Remember this is a labor-intensive job and very competitive. Some contractors will come up with some quotes that we felt they were not really interested in doing the job and quoted extremely high. My wife and I committed to Hydraulics Mechanical Inc. due to how they value your time and budget, helping you plan for any contingencies that can possibly occur, and wanting you to be part of their community that will also establish future work for non-emergencies or unplanned emergencies.

So once we committed and scheduled the installation based on my work schedule, Angelo and his team went to work. As homeowners, you have some prep work to do before their arrival and then the fun begins. Hydraulics Mechanical Inc. showed up on time as scheduled and when necessary was keeping us updated on the process. I had a great time even learning about the tools, techniques, and processes to understand why certain codes are in place for homeowners' safety. Throughout the whole house, the team took great care to be aware of their surroundings and make sure nothing was damaged and all works zones were safe, organized, and clean.

The installation only took 2 days to complete and then scheduling for the Con Edison inspection date was the next hurdle to finally opening the gas line. Hydraulics Mechanical Inc. passed the inspection for the new gas piping with high marks by doing the job right the first time. Therefore, Hydraulics Mechanical Inc.’s onsite (Angelo and his team) and offsite (Tina and her team) services made a stressful situation into a non-stressful experience.

My wife and I are 100% satisfied and we take comfort in Hydraulics Mechanical Inc.’s professionalism to make my family and I’m pretty sure past, present, and future clients part of their family of services. I love having a piece of mind that we went with a team of professional gas-licensed plumbers. Please don’t take any shortcuts, it will cost you more in the future. “Measure twice or three times and cut once.”

Angelo, Tina, and crew were great in helping us change our gas lines and get a bigger gas meter to service 4 appliances, (boiler, water heater, and 2 ranges). They help us passed the NYC inspection by doing right the first time. We would definitely hire in the future because of their knowledge and fast service and guidance. Thank you very much.

If you are reading and are considering, I'd highly highly highly recommend these people! Due to a leak our gas service was turned off last Tuesday, but as of Wednesday its finally been turned back on! Unfortunately I did not agree to the proposal right away, or else we probably would have it back on in half the time. That's because they came in and finished the job in one day!
Honestly came across this company through sheer luck. I had two other plumbers come in to look at the problem, and just through interaction I could tell Hydraulics was the one I wanted to go for. Tina and Angelo's team were extremely professional, dynamic, and super accommodating as we've never encountered this problem in our house before- making the whole process relatively smooth and easy- something any homeowner would appreciate greatly.

I had the pleasure to be served by this wonderful people - Tina, Angelo and Sito when i needed to change my water heater . Even my call was not an emergency one they responded in less than 24 hours. Sito and Angelo did an outstanding job, found out that my chimney system was not designed and structured properly . They attempted to fix it but it was much different job than their field. They ended up calling another professional company that fixed the issue in less than 24 hours. Thank you again , and I would recommend them to anyone that needs their services.

Angelo and Hyrdraulics Mechanical did a great job and made a stressful situation a lot easier. The gas company turned off my gas (and therefore my heat and hot water) late on a Friday because they detected a leak in the gas pipes in my basement. Angelo came the same day, assessed the situation in terms of permits, and gave me a written proposal on Saturday morning. He and an assistant did the work all day on Monday after his admin filed the necessary paperwork. They were clean and courteous. Another contractor told me it would take two weeks just to get the right permits, but Angelo got the whole thing done in less than a week (actually in one business day - the rest of the time was waiting for the gas company. Now I have new gas pipes that are up to code and the heat is flowing and that is awesome.

They are the Rolls-Royce of plumbing company! We discovered several issues with our 2 family house. We had to replace all the gas piping after National Grid shut down everything at the beginning of winter. This project needed an architect, permits and a lot of tenacity. Angelo, Tina and Sito were life savers. (and still are!) The job was perfectly done and they help us in every single steps of the project. They made our house ready, safe and warm right on time to welcome our first baby - and for this we will never thank them enough. We know that our house is safe in their hands. They are the best! ConEd came to do a gas pipe
inspection and unexpectedly shut our gas off due to a leak. The next day we called Hydraulics Mechanical and Angelo came right away to give an estimate and was able to replace the gas pipes the following day and Tina was able to schedule and submit all paperwork to ConEd. We had gas back on within a few days. It was a pleasure to work with Tina and Angelo during this stressful time!

Very professional, Honest, straight forward, Tina even suggested to shop around and compare prices, when other contractors rush for a deposit. Angelo is very informative explain everything until I understand everything and afterwards a speedy gas turn on. On the very next day gas was running. So thank you Tina and Angelo. They even work with me till after the job is done they still help me with and question I have when most would just ignore you once the job is done so yes I would highly recommend them over and over again.
