They have only done part of the job so far, so I will update. But so far they have been knowledgeable and reliable and their price seems very fair.
Update: they have now completed the job. They arrived when scheduled and completed the job in a few hours. They seemed careful and cleaned up afterwards.

Their expertise and professionalism was unmatched. All of the tree removals were done perfectly and safely as well the trimming of multiple large trees to bring in some natural light! Gaetano was extremely knowledgeable in his work and went above and beyond to get the work done. I highly advise using Long Island Tree Service for any of your outdoor needs. Saved my hide from impending doom. I enjoyed meeting Guy and speaking with Tracy. The crew was polite, right on time, and expertly handled the removal of a behemoth, rotten tree looming over my roof. Would absolutely trust Long Island Tree for future work.

We hired this company for a relatively large project after buying our home. They were amazing with us from the start. They took the time to hear us out on our ideas and gave us an estimate based on what needed to be done immediately, and what could be done later on. When we opted to only go with the immediate necessities, they did not try to pressure us into more. They did a huge amount of work on our property for the cost and remained amazing even when we had a slight hiccup with our bank. They were incredibly patient and accommodating while we sorted it out. We've already recommended them to our neighbors and wouldn't think of using a different service in the future.

My experiences have always been great, I would definitely recommend. I have been calling for years for pruning, spraying and occasionally for removals. The family owns that owns the company is local so I feel confident calling someone in my own community. Every time they're here their service is professional and causes me minimal interruption. Sometimes the son who runs the business tells me jokes. One time a tree fell through my fence during a storm. After years of being with them, they had a team out the next day not only cleaning up the tree but also helping me clear the property for a new fence to be put up just as a favor to me. I'll always remember that. 10/10

I can't say enough about this company. The owner and certified arborist Guy is so personable and knowledgeable. The work they did was great, they trimmed my ornamentals and removed a large oak tree at my house. The clean up was great and it looked like they hadn't even been there. If you're looking for a great tree service for the right price, Guy and Long Island Tree and Landscape service are the ones to call.

Great experience from start to finish. Tracy and Guy are geniune and nice people. Guy knows alot about trees, and I'm so glad I trusted them to get rid of my damaged tree. I definitely felt I was in good hands and they took good care of me.

Excellent service from the very first contact via email to phone calls keeping me updated on times and services! Tracy was fantastic! Her son Guy who came for the estimate was amazing with his knowledge of trees and the issues I was having. He was able to suggest options on what to do to save some trees and remove others which I didn’t think, due to their location, was possible. In fact the job was so beautifully done that I almost forgot as I pulled in. Until I noticed things where much brighter. Unlike my poor neighbors trees behind me who look like a toddlers DIY hair cut. It is painful to look at! But mine look balanced and perfect!! I was not home while they where here but my daughter said the place looked like a bomb and tornado came through! But when I got home it was bright and clean! I cannot say enough positive comments for the professional and knowledgeable service I received! Highly recommended!

I hired Long Island Tree and Landscape Service to remove a huge, old rotted tree from my backyard. I priced shopped around and then hired Guy as his service was reasonably priced. Guy and his crew did an excellent job. Friendly, hard working, efficient and they did a great job. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing that type of service and I would certainly use them again for any future removals.

Awesome company for Tree Removal! They gave us a free quote and then came over the next day and removed three huge trees for us. They did a great job from start to finish, cleaned up after themselves and did it all for a fair price. We couldn't be happier!
