Cortese Construction was hired to update a half bathroom unit by adding a shower. My decision to use the company was based on the very positive and professional experience I had when about fifteen plus years ago when they converted a sun screen room to a family room . The current project was handled similarly .
Domenic consulted with me in my home and recommended design and construction of project based on my expressed needs. He then prepared the work design as he did that many years ago. Everyone was courteous , punctual and professional in handling the project from start to finish.
The project managers Vinny and Dillion took over to manage the project and Jacob “Jake” was the assigned project foreman who did most of the actual work in the home . Dillion over saw the project making sure all needed supplies were made available and regularly checked project progress . I was regularly kept abreast of each step of the project as it progressed in the home.
I was more than satisfied and impressed with the finished product and all who participated in making it happen. I would definitely use them again or recommend them to anyone.

We hired the Cortese team to add a new room to our house and to completely replace our old "out dated" kitchen, and we could not be happier with the results. From the very beginning to the very end the Cortese team is there to help you through some of the rough spots and offer advice based on their vast experience. All projects of this size will have unexpected things pop up, and for each unexpected item the Cortese team discussed with us before proceeding, so there are no surprise up charges without our approval. One last thing; they are nicest group of workers you could ever hope for.

We are very pleased that we selected Cortese Construction Services as the contractor for our new kitchen counter in our home. We had a fantastic experience from the product selection through the installation process. Michelle from Cortese, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with regard to product selection and design choice. My wife and I hired Cortese to completely renovate a 100 year old full bathroom in our City of Buffalo home. From start to finish, each employee we dealt with was professional, courteous, and gave us hope that truly exceptional customer service, while rare, is still alive and well. Phil and Michelle walked us through the planning process and gave great advice on selecting styles and materials. Tyler and Chelsea, who were on site at our home every single day during construction, kept us informed every step of the way, and did exceptionally high quality work. The end result was a custom bathroom that is even better than we originally envisioned. Even more remarkably, the project was on time and completed on schedule! I simply can't recommend Cortese Construction Services strongly enough... We will be using them for every project and renovation moving forward!

We worked with Cortese Construction Services to cover our front porch and add a covered area to our back patio.

Cortese did a complete remodel of our kitchen in our condo located in downtown Buffalo. From start to finish, we were continually impressed with the quality and service by Cortese. Nick Cortese met with us personally at all stages of the project, and ensured that every detail was to our satisfaction, treating it as if it were his own kitchen. In terms of the actual work, we could not be more happy with the quality and aesthetic of the finished project. We went with Cortese custom line of cabinets, which are top notch in terms of sturdiness and overall quality. We had a very specific vision and aesthetic in mind when we began the project and Cortese delivered perfectly. Excellent job all around by Cortese.

Cortese successfully designed and built a beautiful, modern, and functional bathroom for our historic home. The communication with the contractors, project managers, and foreman was outstanding. The foreman went above and beyond to preserve the home's historic features whenever possible and expertly recreated historical details when needed. I highly recommend Cortese for any project!

This is the 2nd project that we had Cortese Construction due for us. We were so pleased with the way the front addition was installed, we decided to use them again to replace a bow window in our kitchen. The workers that were sent to do the work were very professional and they cleaned up after the day of work was completed. We had 2 bathroom renovations completed and laundry room renovation in 2023... We couldn't be happier with the results! It was wonderful to work with everyone @Cortese. Quality craftsmanship across board, respectful workers, area was cleaned up everyday...it was so nice to just go to 1 place to pick out my selections...

Cortese completed a high quality bathroom complete remodel. Our lead builder, Ryan, was amazing. His attention to detail was fantastic. He and Dan worked hard to get the job completed. I would definitely use Cortese again for future projects.

We had our kitchen remodel done by Cortese and had an excellent experience overall. I can’t say enough positive things about our construction foreman, Jason and project manager, Joe. Both were professional, personable, and detail oriented. We were really impressed with the whole crew, Todd, Brett, and Dale just to name a few. The project went smoothly and quickly. My only suggestion for improvement is they need a different flooring company to refinish hardwood floors. We absolutely love our new kitchen and will hire Cortese again for future projects!

Cortese Construction Services was contracted to build a 3 season sunroom. We were immediately informed that there would be a one year delay due to their busy schedule. Since we had already interviewed several other contractors, we decided it would be worth the wait. We were not disappointed. The sunroom has exceeded our expectations.
Mike and Rick were pleasant to work with. I appreciated their clean cut appearance and polite friendliness. From the beginning, Nick Cortese listened to our requests and worked to make this dream come true. The quality of the building meets our needs perfectly. We are blessed with a spectacular location, but everyone who enters our home utters a “WOW”! at seeing the sunroom. It truly “makes” the house. Their expertise created the least amount of disruption to our yard and the whole process was completed in just 6 weeks. While not the cheapest option, we can highly recommend Cortese Construction Services.

We completed a kitchen, bedroom, and four bathroom remodels with Cortese Construction in 2021-2023, and have been very pleased with the results. The team did a great job following through on our vision, offering creative solutions when things didn't go as planned, and ensuring we are 100% satisfied with the work completed. We chose Cortese because they were the only general contractor we spoke with who were able to come up with a creative, out-of-the-box vision for our odd Elmwood Village Frankenstein-type primary bathroom. We would recommend and use Cortese again because of the dedication to quality and service we received from owner Domenic Cortese and project supervisor Craig Shields.

We recently hired Cortese Construction to build a master suite over our garage. My wife and I couldn't be more pleased with the results and the overall process. From start to finish, Dominic and the entire Cortese team were very responsive to our vision. The team demonstrated exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail and clearly committed to their work. Most impressive was their responsiveness to our requests. The crew was punctual, respectful and maintained a clean worksite which I greatly appreciated throughout the process. Cortese Construction was reliable and truly went above and beyond expectations.

Cortese was not only prompt in getting my project started, they were even better because i thought we were going to have to wait till spring. Their staff were perfect representatives of the company…work was beautiful, they are extremely competent and everything was done according to plan. We were also quite impressed with their interactions with our grandchildren and our two dogs, all who can sometimes create distractions for people trying to get work done.

Steve Dennim and Joe were excellent and conscientious workers. They were extremely helpful and did a fabulous job on our kitchen renovation. They were meticulous in their work, and nothing was too much to ask of them. They left our home in pristine condition every night.
