Their work is exceptional. The gardeners are friendly and knowledgeable. The owner designs and maintains such beautiful gardens. The yard transformation is amazing!

We have been a subcontractor for conquell for many years. We have never had a payment issue or for that matter any issue at all. Just do what the job requires and you'll be fine.

Great installation and maintenance. John installed shrubs and lawn in front and rear yard as well as artificial turf in the back yard that came out great. His team keeps everything trimmed nicely so years later it looks like it did when it was installed. Very professional company.

We have been using Conkel for years and always been happy. Beside weekly maintenance on the front of our corner property they put down turf in the back yard 15 years ago and it still has held up (4 kids and 2 dogs and many family gatherings later) . We recently had to get rid of 2 cherry trees in out back yard and when the task after the stump removal became to great for my husband. Johns crew came to the rescue. They leveled the dirt, put down the blue stone and reinstalled the turf in about 2.5 - 3 hours. The crew is always different due to the size of the company but they are always great and John has always been a pleasure to deal with.

Horrible service and owner/mangment does not care about service only money.

They suck at snow plowing. Watched them put snow in the street after it was plowed, as well as put snow on top of someone's car. Then they filled in all the available parking spots on the street with snow, that we dug out. Had to yell at them for throwing snow into the street. Stupid idiots. Stick to landscaping if you can't do snow removal. You make more work for everyone else.

Stay far away from this company.
Owner John does not pay his sub contractors. We did snow plowing for him as a sub. He refused to pay for plowing services we did for him last winter and says " good luck taking me to court" we have plowed snow for him for 3 years now each year it has taken longer and longer for him to pay. We are now in the legal and Lein process. To attempt to collect....

Company does NOT have auto insurance. Hits peoples car and can NOT provide people with auto insurance.

Called and asked if they provide residential service and was told yes. I informed the person i spoke to the service type I was looking for. She then proceeded to ask me what area i said Elmont she then said they don't service homes in Elmont. The main company office is in Elmont!??? Upon further Google search i see all the bad reviews so this was probably a blessing in disguise!

Con Kel bought my sprinkler guy's route. I have spoken to their office three times trying to get service. I don't know why they bought the route, they have no one to do the work. I asked them for a quote on gardening service too, and no one followed up on that either. I have no one to fix the broken sprinkler head and no one to do the backflow testing. Not a fan.
