The beginning of March we needed some electrical work and repairs done around the house. This is my second time using the company and they are very knowledgeable and prompt. Dennis is honest and reliable. My mom and I really appreciate the work that was done. Though the crew had some challenges, they were able to troubleshoot and come back multiple times until the work was done. Will definitely use this company again.

We have been searching for a reliable electrician and have found one with York Electrical. We have used York twice over the past 2 months for relatively minor work (Outdoor light install and ceiling fan replacement and install) and am extremely pleased with the all around quality of service. In both cases, they were responsive, professional and reasonably priced. It didn't matter how small of a job, as they treated me with the same quality service regardless of if it was a small or large job. The most recent work was performed by Shawn and Dennis. They had to come twice (first to install new box and second to install fan) to finish the job because I had purchased an incorrect ceiling fan. They honored the original quote and did not charge me for coming back, even though I purchased the wrong fan. Both times they were available either the same day or next day from the day I made the appointment. They arrived on time and were extremely professional. They clearly explained the work that needed to be done in easy-to-understand layman's terms. They were respectful and cleaned up thoroughly after completing the job. I have additional work needing to be done in the next several months and am happy to have finally found a reliable electrician.

They were straightforward, on time, quick and best of all cleaned up exceptionally well. They don't waste time and they showed care in their work. Dennis came to check a few times on the work to make sure its done properly and completed timely and neatly from beginning to end. I will definitely use them again if I need more work done. I highly recommend them.

Dennis and his team are fantastic! Summer in NYC without AC is miserable. So when they removed my huge old AC unit and installed a new one in less than 30 minutes I was impressed and grateful! They are incredibly professional, knowledgeable and fast!!! It’s a pleasure working with you and your team Dennis!!!

Dennis and the team at York Electrical Contractors were very prompt and professional throughout the entire job. They installed several 20 amp circuits, replaced a light fixture and several light switches all at a fair price. I am happy with their quality of work and am glad I found them. I will be using them again in the future.

York Electrical Contractors came on Sunday. They are so responsive and service-oriented. They have helped me out of many unexpected electrical emergencies in the past. Today, Dennis Jr. worked very hard to make sure everything was properly fixed. I am so appreciative to trust this wonderful company and their team.

I first worked with York Electrical a couple of years ago when I wanted a chandelier installed in my apartment. I had reached out to a few companies and York won me over with their fair price and the way they explained the process to me. Fast forward, and I had a far bigger electrical project I needed. I never forgot York and immediately reached out, and I'm so glad I did.

I worked primarily with Dennis and his son Dennis, as well as Orlando... they're truly a dream team! They were so efficient and knowledgeable, and they kept me in the loop and gave me options every step of the way, which I appreciated. They are also such nice people... so kind and so helpful. A special shoutout to Dennis (Jr.), who did such a great job with truly aspect of the job.

I know next project I will do the same thing I did the first time and call York Electrical.

They diagnosed the problem in short order; clearly delineated how they were planning to remedy it; and performed the work efficiently. A very professional outfit.

5 stars. Had York Electrical install an EV charger. Very responsive to answering questions and completing the installation quickly.
They were also able to accommodate an install time around my schedule.

I was up all night after an electrician botched the whole job and ruined the wiring for my new dryer. I called Dennis at 3am to leave a message and he called back at 7:30am. He was so understanding and really took the time to talk to me about what I should do about the situation and send he was sending two guys out. They were there within an hour and a half! He gave me a price over the phone after I sent pictures and explained it all. The guys that arrived came in a licensed van and brought all there own equipment. (Which the previous “handyman” did not.) They were extremely polite and professional. They fixed everything PERFECTLY and in a timely manner. I could hardly hear them working either, so quiet! After it was finished they had made sure everything was hooked up correctly and turned on the machines. They went OUT OF THEIR WAY to re do horrible work that was done. York Electric really came through for us. Our building required new electrical panels, and the work needed to be done in a timely fashion. Dennis and his crew were prompt and professional. He explained what was needed, and got us up and running in less than a day. Highly recommend for any and all electrical work.

I was having trouble with the lights around my pool area. 2X's I hired a handy man/ electrician to fix the problem, and whatever they did fixed the problem.... 'temporarily'. I was at my wits end. I searched for electricians in my area, and YORK was at the top of the list. I read the reviews and they were all glowing reviews. I was initially hesitant, thinking how could this company have all good reviews? Boy, was I ever wrong.
I placed the call and spoke to Dennis. We made an appt. to assess the situation. He told me he could fix my problem, and gave me an estimate. He also told me I could replace all the lighting we had, and still fix my problem, and the cost was not that much more.
Dennis was so reassuring, and my wife and I both felt very comfortable with what he was saying, we said "Ok LET'S DO IT."
Are we ever glad we did.
The new lighting completely transformed the appearance of my pool area. As you can see by the picture and short video, it now looks like some fancy resort.
Dennis knows his stuff, and you can be assured, he puts everything into each job, as if it was his own.
There will be no more handy man/electricians for me from now on.
Because of Dennis, YORK will be my electrician for life. I won't even think of calling someone else.
BTW, his crew were all courteous and professional, and even cleaned up after they were done. Nice neat job!!!

I wish I would have called these guys sooner. Dennis (uncle), Dennis (nephew) and Gilbert did a fantastic job upgrading parts of our electrical system and bringing us into the 21st century. They were very knowledgeable, provided excellent customer service and worked great together as a team. Dennis ( owner) checked in with his crew throughout the job, answered all questions and reviews the work after it is done which provides an added layer of peace of mind. If you're looking for an old school electrician call York! Looking forward to doing more work with them.
