John was exceptionally professional and truly cared about doing the right thing. His work was flawless and he’s been so easy to work with.

Our last contractor left an absolute mess of things, and John came in and restored what was 6 months of tough living without a kitchen.

It's obvious that John has been doing this for a long time because he is very knowledgable. He is also patient and takes time to explain things to you in an open and honest way which I found very comforting. He is responsive as well... even on a Saturday night!!

We had a wonderful experience with Mr. Farr. We needed plumbing work done to help legalize our cellar as required by the local DoB. Mr. Farr worked well with our architect, was able to pull the required permits and understood the scope of the job and what was required. We needed to cap off some old water lines along with legalizing our bathroom and eliminating unused gas lines and its associated piping. Additionally he observed other possible issues that the local DoB might address as we needed to bring our cellar up to today's standard code. Sure enough everything he mentioned was brought up by the DoB and corrected as needed. Mr. Farr's knowledge of the local DoB process was instrumental in getting the work inspected and approved in a timely manner. The price for the required work was reasonable based on the scope of the work done. Mr. Farr was pleasant, easy to work with, professional and always on time. I would certainly use Mr. Farr again should we need his services. I have no issues recommending Mr. Farr to family and friends.

John Farr is proffesional and very reliable person. He responded at once and came to my house even it’s a weekend. He took care of our problem on an illegal shower in the basement including all the necessary permit required by the Department of Building. We are very happy with the result and he charged us very reasonably.

John helped set up our gas and get it back on once we bought our first home. He made sure to take care of the whole process and sent information about the whole process. I would recommend to anyone who wants a professional at a reasonable price, will contact again!

John Farr is an outstanding plumber who cut through the red tape and resolved my Dept of Buildings violations with the necessary permits and corrective action. John is a gentleman with whom I had an instant rapport. He is my go to plumber and heating specialist hands down!

I called John because I had 2 violations in my house and I had no idea what to do. I was searching online and I came across John's website (and let me tell you something), I'm so grateful to God I came into contact with John. He has helped me so much by getting the right person, and helping me in removing my violation. It doesn't matter what problem you may have, if he can't do it on his own, he may refer you to someone else. John is the best!

When a gas leak was found at my house in The Bronx, my place got booted like a scofflaw car on the street. Once the lock on the line and dreaded red tag from Con Ed appeared I didn’t know what to do. I looked up John Farr and dialed. I had no idea that what would seem like a quagmire of lost money and confusion turned into an incredible experience. At first I was intimidated by the work that I had to contribute to getting the gas turned back on but very quickly it felt like John was looking out for me and we joined forces to tackle the problem. He was always punctual, polite, insightful, honest, and very skilled. His understand of plumbing and New York’s nuances was incredible. I really enjoyed John’s personality and was absolutely satisfied with his work. He has a customer for life and I’d be happy to send work his way anytime going forward-thank you John.
