Jay has worked on our home for many years and has always been very professional in how he conducts business. He lets us know exactly what needs to be done as he does it. At our last job, he was able to find and fix a tricky leak in a very hard to reach area of our home. Jay also does a great job with cleanup after the job, which is appreciated.

I am very pleased to recommend and praise the workmanship and professionalism demonstrated by Mako Plumbing. I had work done today August 16th in one of my bathrooms, the technician name Matt showed up on time and was professional and courteous. He worked clean and efficient and I'm very pleased to recommend Mako Plumbing and Heating

Had a major plumbing emergency on a Saturday morning. Turned on the heat for the start of the season and steaming water came out of the overflow pipe. Mako had serviced the unit 4 years ago so I called in a panic. Rich talked me through some emergency response procedures on the phone and stayed in constant contact. He came to the house himself in a very short period of time. The entire situation was resolved by dinner time. Very neat and clean right down to bringing his own door mat to use before entering the house. Awesome job!

Just wanted to say thank you. I called Mako last week and Matt came out to my house this Saturday. He was amazing and so helpful. Changed our garbage disposal and gave us a ton of helpful information. He was on time, professional, and wasn't bothered by my three kids running around! To be completely honest, if I have another plumbing issue anywhere in my house I will be calling you guys and it was all because of Matt's service. Thanks!

The best plumbers ever! I called and they came almost immediately. Was ripped off by another guy but Mako Plumbing & Heating Inc, will be our plumbers for life. Pete knew exactly what he was doing and he got the job done! He checked to make sure there were no leaks and of course there were none. Nancy, the receptionist was very sweet too. I wish I could remember who I spoke to when I first called, but I was so upset that I can’t remember his name. He listened to me and asked me questions and he was very knowledgeable and put me at ease right away! You don’t find many honest businesses these days, but I can tell you that if you ever need a plumbing service, these are the guys to call! I wish I could give them 10 stars! Excellent service! I am one very happy customer! Thank You Mako Plumbing & Heating Inc! You really are the BEST! We recently (8/20) had Jay come to repair an ejector pump and he replaced it in no time! He explained how it worked and left me the paperwork on the pump. We will never use another plumbing company! They really are the best! Thank you so much!

I was very impressed by the service I received from Jay at MAKO plumbing. During these uncertain times due to the pandemic, I was skeptical about having someone come into my house to fix an issue we were experiencing. After realizing that the issue needed to be fixed, I contacted MAKO to explain my needs and concerns. They were able to send Jay over within the hour. Jay was extremely careful and cautious when coming into my home, and quickly/effectively fixed our issue. I am so thankful for MAKO and Jay and will definitely be contacting them for my plumbing needs moving forward! Thank you MAKO!!

I have been using Mako plumbing for many years. I must say they are the most professional plumbers I have ever used. Their work is outstanding, they are punctual, affordable, neat and generally nice guys. They take the time to explain the job in detail. I would and have recommend to all my family and friends.

I suffered a somewhat large water leak from a failed shutoff valve.I called Mako and got a quick response from the owner who couldn't have been nicer,especially since this was on a weekend. He said he'd send someone first thing Monday morning. Jay showed up who has done many jobs previously at my house. He's a consummate professional who always does a proper job and is very nice to deal with. He takes the time to explain exactly what it is you will need and the cost.I can't recommend this company enough and I especially recommend Jay if possible who is just the nicest,most professional person to have do plumbing in your home.Thanks to Jay and Mako for all your help in correcting my problem.

I called Mako Plumbing and Heating as my hot water was coming out brown. They came the next day and checked out my system. After speaking with Jay on options we went with adding a new house water filtration system and flushing the water heater. He even took care of it the same day, by 5 we were all set. After running the hot water a few days I now have clear drinkable water. Jay was super knowledgeable and would recommend this team over again.

My Boiler stopped working on an extremely cold day. Within 1 1/2 hours, Matt (Mako technician) was at the door. Matt was extremely professional and explained all boiler Related issues. He was able to repair the boiler and provide me with advise for the future. It was great to deal with a knowledgeable and personable professional.
I would without a doubt recommend Mako for your plumbing and heating issues.

I've been a customer for almost 10 years and can't say enough good things about this company. Jay, who has been my savior for 10 years, is always prompt, respectful, neat, and, above all, honest. He explains in detail the problem and scope of work that needs to be done. I've never once felt taken advantage of or overcharged. At the end of every job, I'm confident that the work was done well, and I won't need to call for any issues with the work.

a few years back, Mako repaired my heating they were professional and experienced, repair is successful, no issues these past winter.
Just call them for a water heater issue and he quickly came over to diagnose, fixed the issue, on a Friday afternoon before office closed. Also provided a backup plan just in case. I thought I could fix it, sometimes it is better to have a professional plumber to work on it ;-)

When looking for a plumber of excellence Mako is the answer. They stand behind their work. They have skilled technicians who know every aspect of plumbing systems. They clearly describe the problem and the best remedy. Today from 6 feet away and masked, I watched Matt as he worked. He was patient and clear, illuminating all aspects of his work. Mako owner, Rich has chosen his staff extremely well. We have used them for multiple and complicated jobs and we always always have peace of mind. From the initial contact to the job completion Mako staff is efficient and professional.

Hands down the best plumbing service I have ever used. The owner, Rich, is incredibly smart, experienced, and honest, as are all of his guys. He came onto our major home renovation project very early on, and proved to be lifesaver so many times I lost count. In addition to all of the above, he is an absolute pleasure to work with: punctual, knowledgeable, very responsive, and always so respectful of our home. When an issue came up on Christmas Eve, Rich sent someone over immediately to check things out, and when it turned out that the problem was actually with our HVAC system, his guy stayed there and helped us fix it!! Mako provides absolutely unbelievable service, and they stand by their work- you will be so glad you called them.
Update- Jay came by to repair a toilet, and once again, the service was excellent. Jay was very respectful of our home, wore a mask the entire time, and was fast and helpful. I continue to highly recommend Mako.

I have used Mako Plumbing for all plumbing jobs since my house was redone and lifted after Sandy. No job is too little or too big for them. Most recently they gave me great advice when my old tankless water heater stopped working. Rich, the owner, Tim who diagnosed the problem and Joe whose team executed the work always had my needs and concerns in mind as they removed my old boiler and water heater and installed a new state of the art combination unit. They all demonstrated that they were concerned with my future well being in my home. I have full confidence in their knowledge and their work.

One of my pipes in my basement was leaking badly (so badly that I had to shut off all water to the house). I called Mako and felt immediately at ease. They said they would send someone right over since it seemed like an emergency. He was very kind to me. Jay came over shortly after to assess the situation. He was very pleasant and very careful about not getting any parts of the house dirty while traveling to the basement. He explained the issue in detail to me and answered all questions. I felt confident while talking to him that he was not trying to sell me anything that wasn't needed. While he was working, he found more issues and made sure I understood that those items would need to be remedied as well to prevent future floods. Jay worked quickly and it was pleasure to have him in our house. Thank you, Jay. I highly recommend Mako.

Jayson is professional and knowledgeable. He did an excellent job and I would highly recommend him and Mako plumbing. Nancy is a pleasure to work with too. I just used the services of Mako Plumbing again to replace my hot water heater. Jayson was again professional and knowledgeable. It's nice to know you can count on Mako for your plumbing needs.

Recently had Mako perform some work on my cast iron waste line in the basement. Spoke to the owner Rich and explained the problems, and he said someone would be at my home within 30 minutes. Jay arrived on time, accessed the problems, provided some solutions and was able to make the repair. Jay is an asset to the company, his work was very professional, timely and neat...all while answering my questions. I highly recommend using Mako for your plumbing needs.

I was looking for an honest plumber I could trust to not rip my eyeball out. After reading reviews about Mako, I called to make an appointment. The woman who answered the phone was so kind and helpful. She was happy to work with me and my crazy schedule and even had to adjust an appointment for me. Already, I was happy with the service and the plumber hadn’t even come out yet!
Jay arrived right on time and immediately put a mat down when he walked in the house. I wish my kids would do that!! He was professional and friendly and I immediately felt comfortable having him in my home. Jay looked over all the projects I had questions about and gave me all of my options. He actually tried to save me money in places and also advised me on what would be safest for my kids. I definitely look forward to working with Jay and getting all my projects completed. I’m so glad I took the recommendations I read about Mako. This company is a great find!
