I was there with my 2 kiddos today. They had a very nice selection to choose from. They helped when I had questions and they took the time to ask me if I needed any help. I'm planning on going back tomorrow with pictures and pick out flowers that will look great with the awesome help of Kim!

They did a fantastic and professional job doing our landscaping. Plus, we needed the work done in just a couple of weeks and they were able to squeeze us into their schedule. We can't thank them enough!

I have dealt with Michael Wightman for over 2 years. He always knows the best way to take care of a lawn. My back lawn has a rough hill. Michael realized right away that the mower was going to dig up the lawn, so he opted to use a weed whacker on the steepest part of the lawn. He is always a perfect gentleman and does anything he needs to do to make sure his customers are happy. ☺

Chris and his team have done two jobs for us and both have been fantastic. He "gets" what we are going for and put together solid plans that we were very happy with. And his crew knocked out both jobs in a day and for way less than we expected. We're very pleased and it's great that they're right around the corner from us!

Chris and his team of long term employees did an incredible job on our hardscape and landscape project. This is the second time we have worked with them on a major yard project in addition to planting maple trees for us. Their attention to detail created a finished entry landscape above and beyond our expectations. Chris listened to my change requests and he and his crew implemented them without complaint. We are so happy we chose PTL again for our most important landscape project!

It's May 2025 and here to provide update on large trees we bought from Pittsford Tree and Landscape (aka Village Garden Store) and they planted in Fall 2022. We've been trying for two years to get them to take responsibility and honor their written guarantee but to no avail. The attached photos were taken on May 7, 2025. They show the ridiculous way they chopped the root ball and then planted it bare root. This Sunburst Locust tree never had a chance of successfully transplanting.

What replays with us are Bevin's initial words when we originally reached out with concerns about the health of the tree. She said, "Don't worry, I've never replaced a Locust tree." Well that's still true! Even when the tree dies and we are out significant money and need to start over with a reputable nursery, she NEVER REPLACED A LOCUST TREE!!

AVOID BOTH PITTSFORD TREE & LANDSCAPE AND VILLAGE GARDEN STORE!!! Dishonest and a disgrace to small businesses.

They won’t honor their written 2 year guarantee on 2 large trees we purchased and they planted in October 2022. We have been trying to address issues with these trees since spring 2023 and still don’t have a resolution 18 months later! Bevin never returns our calls or emails so we have driven to the nursery several times. Each time she lies to us and promises to come to inspect and trim the trees but does not follow through. She offered to extend the warranty to 3 years but refused to put it in writing. My last communication was requesting resolution sent a month ago via USPS Certified Mail…no response! We love to support small businesses but this one is terrible. They use the name of Pittsford Tree and Landscape, as well as Village Garden Store & Nursery. Attaching a picture of our Sunburst Locust tree in August…not exactly thriving.
