Matthew and 1895 Electric installed a couple ceiling fans for us that we bought at Home Depot. One of the fans is on a 16-foot tall ceiling, and they installed it no problem. They showed up on time, did the job quickly, and when they were done Matthew made sure we knew how to use all the features of our fan correctly. Definitely recommend 1895 Electric for ceiling fan and light fixture installation.

Matt was phenomenal! Very knowledgeable and walked me through all my options making my decision easier to make. Vey patient, honest and worked around our schedule. I will call on him for other electrical needs. Thanks.

*** please read as I find it hard to get this type of service from everyday contractors now of days. Matt and his team were amazing!!! I did my homework in what I thought I needed for the work. After I explained what I wanted Matt took the time to explain the process of what would be needed on his end to do the job. He went into details for how long it would take, approx cost and was very flexible when he could do the work . Was was also very impressive was how responsive, timely and punctual ! Matt followed up with me and even after the service to make sure everything was running smoothly. Really satisfied is a understatement and for any project I will be coming back.

Friendly and easy to work with. Explains the "why" behind the job when asked, made time to do the work much sooner than other companies I contacted, and never made me feel like he was rushing the job to get in and out like some contractors do...simply wanted to do it right, even tho I could tell the job was running longer than anticipated due to unforseen complications, which again, was readily explained. Would gladly recommend! Thanks again Matthew and Scott for the top notch service!!!

Scott and his son did some work to allocate our new commercial-grade (thus using a good amount of power) heat cables to their own outlets outside and designated switch in the service panel. They did an excellent job, were super friendly and the owner (I think?) reached out to make sure we were happy! Fully intend on using them for all our future electrical needs!

Update: Scott continues to help us! We needed a few outlets to be removed from the light switch, so they were always "on" instead of dependent on a switch. We also wanted to remove some recessed lighting and put a box and wiring in for a chandelier instead. He went above and beyond and wanted to come back to perfect the patch-work he did and came back again to install the chandelier once it arrived. We absolutely love working with him and working on lining up more projects!

Matt and his crew did an excellent job. He was able to help me in a pinch at my income property. I had a tenant move out and needed a job done rather quickly before another tenant was scheduled to move in.
His crew added a couple of extra breakers from a breaker that was overloaded and tripping. They were clean and organized and their problem solving skills were impeccable. They went above and beyond! I would highly recommend them!

Matthew was super responsive and great to communicate with. The process from estimate to actual projection completion was so easy. He installed recessed lighting and went above and beyond to match existing lighting and replaced an outlet for me which wasn’t even in the original estimate. I would definitely hire Matthew again for not only his work, but his reliability and communication throughout the process -

Matt was able to come on short notice to inspect what we needed for our project and gave us a very reasonable quote. 1895 Electric was able to provide all the prerequisites in terms of paperwork and materials that we requested including insurance as well as the type of lighting we wanted.

We had nearly 20 recessed lights and multiple outlets that needed to be installed. Matt and Scott and crew got to work quick and were able to complete the job in less than 2 days without issues. Their focus on professionalism intuition on keeping their work environment clean as to not get any debris on any furniture or items was outstanding!

Highly recommend them and will be doing business in the future!

I had 1895 install my Tesla EV wall charger on the side of my house. They had excellent communication and service. Job was done as expected and very clean work. Will use them next time for future projects.
