Ryan Electrical was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Provided a fair, no nonsense quote, handled all preliminary communications with the utility company, arrived on time and kept us apprised as the job progressed. No surprises. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Jack Ryan is the best electrical contractor we have had the pleasure of meeting. Many contractors charge you $150 just to walk to your house and diagnose the problem. Jack repaired our fixtures, informed us of new developments residents should know and he has 30 years of experience. Most of all when we needed a professional electrician he was there when he said he would be. Thank you, Jack!

Jack was prompt, friendly, competent and courteous. He is very clean about his work. Once he was done he cleaned up after himself and put stuff back in its place. He installed a gfci so I can install my microwave my friends gave me and he also relocated the outlet from underneath the dishwasher. Amazing work jack, if i need more work done I would difinitely will call on Jack again. Thank for you service.

Amazing service! I was in a tight spot, half the power in our house went out. My Husband was out of town and I was home with my two kids. Ryan Electrical rearranged their schedule to help me and my family out. They called each day until a part arrived just to check on how we were doing, and to keep me updated on the status of the needed part. Their service is unparalleled. Really felt like they treated us like family. Hard to find this type of service this day in age. We will never use anyone else! Thank you so much again! You guys are truly the best!

Jack has done a lot of work for us. He has upgraded our electrical service, installed a whole house generator, installed circuits for charging our electric car, put in coax and LAN lines and installed smart home devices. He is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I recommend him wholeheartedly.

I have been searching a long time for an electrician that does good work, shows up on time and gives sound /reliable recommendations to solve problems. I think I found that electrician when we called Ryan Electrical to install a new bedroom ceiling fan and 10 new LED lights in our family room. Jack and Ryan were both punctual, got the work done on time and gave helpful suggestions to improve the project. I will definitely use them again in the future and would highly recommend them for any electrical projects anyone would have.

Used them for EV charger install. Did a fantastic job. Assisted with all permits and helped secure rebate. Professional work. Responded to request for estimate same day, was able to schedule service immediately. Work was finished ahead of schedule. Will use again.

Ryan Electrical added an outlet in my kitchen for a new electric range. They did a wonderful job. Very professional from start to finish. They provided a detailed quote about the job and honored it, showed up on time and complete the work at a high quality. I recommend Ryan Electrical without reservation.

We have a whole house ejector pump, pipe cracked and had water all over. Had an electrical inspector out to look at the panel determined it was fine. Basement is now getting put back together decide we want to move laundry room to basement. Called a few electricians for quotes, Jack came, explained what happened, he was the only one who took the time to relook at panel and removed a few breakers and could see that the panel indeed had gotten water damage to it(water spots on busbar and panel showed rust). If he did not taken the time to check or recheck this would have been costly and another headache dealing with in time. Jack and his crew installed new main panel and breakers, sub panel for future projects, transfer switch for generator, outlets and lighting for laundry room and lighting for master bedroom. Also noticed that the house was not bonded correctly and reran a new ground for that. Attention to detail and very knowledgeable.

Just recently thought I had an issue with the main panel, it was after hours called the office and left message. 10 minutes later Jack called me told me he was booked the next few days but wanted to make sure this was not a serious issue. He made time that next day mid morning to swing by and take a look at.

Very happy with his work and professionalism. Will definitely use for our future projects.

My house’s outdoor wiring and meter pan were damaged in a winter storm and we lost power. A friend recommended Ryan Electrical and my phone call with Laurie went smoothly. She sent an electrician over to the house very quickly; Ryan, the electrician, was supposed to come 3 hours after I made the appointment but he was able to get there an hour earlier.

After looking at the damage, Ryan showed me three quotes and explained the level of repairs for each one. He was patient and waited for the homeowner to return and approve of the repairs before proceeding.

Our power was restored later that day and Ryan completed all repairs and upgrades the next day. We now have new, up-to-date equipment and have more amperage than before.

We’re really happy with the repairs. If you’re looking for an electrician in Rockland County, definitely call Ryan Electrical!

There was some miscommunication about date for work to start (arrived one day early per customer recollection and documentation), but work was completed in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Would recommend for further work in Rockland County and wherever else they serve.

We have an old house that is not easy to work on, but Jack solved each problem quickly and with solutions that my wife and I really appreciate. On Tuesday March 26th a Ryan Electrical Services technician ("Anthony") showed up (on-time) at my house for a scheduled appointment to discuss installing an Ecobee Smart Video doorbell.

We discussed the job briefly and Anthony understood exactly what I needed + a bit extra to support my main objective.

He set off to immediately do the job and in a couple of hours everything to do with the installation was finished.

I still had to send away for one bit of tech...a step down transformer (plugin variety). I received it in two days, hooked it up, plugged it in, and everything was working fine.

I was even able to integrate the new doorbell with Apple's HomeKit to expand its utility.

Jack and Anthony were absolute life savers! Came day of when we were in desperate need to install a new line for a dryer conversion (ours died, and with 2 kiddos we were desperate to get something in fast). Incredibly clean (both the work and the space they left), and efficient!

Most notably though, when the delivery/installer came for the washer/dryer, they'd managed to wire the harness to the dryer incorrectly, and told me that because the circuit was tripping it must have been the electrician's fault. When I called Jack, he came 30 minutes out of his way (after his last job, which was a town away from his home), diagnosed the issue as the wiring job from the dryer, fixed it himself, and didn't ask me for anything!

I'm so relieved I'd worked with Jack, he was incredible, and went out of his way to make sure I could end my laundry drought!

After realizing that I needed an electrician, Ryan's Electrical Services was the only place that responded in a timely fashion. Laurie, the person I initially spoke to on the phone, was extremely courteous and helpful. The work that was done went far beyond my expectations, and I would definitely use them again, as well as recommend their services to others that I know. You can't go wrong with this company!

What an amazing team! We have a very old house and they were able to fix a handful of things. The electrician they sent over was amazing and the company owner came during the job to help sort a few things out. We really felt like they cared about quality.

Excellent service, great price and quick to respond to any/all questions. Highly recommend and will return for any future electric work. Successful installed a home EV charging station and panel upgrade while providing step by step instructions on handling building permit requests as well! Great team all around.

Jack did a great job in laying out a proposal and explaining what the job entailed. He gave Anthony the assignment and Anthony did an amazing job. I was having problems with circuit breakers tripping constantly and called Ryan Electric. Jack came to my house and fixed the problem. His company was great to deal with from the time I called to make an appointment to when Jack worked on my home. I would highly recommend Ryan Electric to anyone in need of his type of service .
