Amazing! Called this morning with two refrigerators not working and the bottom oven unusable. Was given a time window when the technician, Matt, would arrive. He arrived on time. He had to get parts. His demeanor throughout the process was friendly and professional. It took several hours for this work to be completed; Matt worked steadily. Everything was left back in place, cleaned up and fixed! Bill seemed reasonable and the guarantee reassuring. Will definitely call them again!

I called at 8am, Jim had my dryer fixed by 1pm the same day! Was super friendly to my huge dog who in return loved him!

Had the best diagnostic price and the earliest availability when my oven stopped working. He had to come back later in the same week once the part arrived. He was responsive via phone and text. Very fast, thorough, and clean.

Called them on a Saturday and they were at my house around an hour and a half later. 10+ year old refrigerator had stopped cooling. I didn't know the exact model as it was here when I bought the house, but I gave a rough description, which was apparently enough. I apologize that I don't recall the gentleman's name, but he showed up with the exact part that was needed, replaced it very quickly, and the price was what I expected. Fridge has been working perfectly since. He was professional, polite, and safe. I have no complaints and would use them again.

Our washing machine recently began its downward spiral to its demise and to confirm its death sentence I looked for an appliance technician. When I called Upstate Appliance LLC, I spoke with a man named Jim. Jim was professional, asked a few questions and based on my answers, scheduled a day to have one of his technicians come out to my home. 30 minutes prior to the arrival of Matt, the technician 2 days later, he called to confirm our appointment. Matt showed up, looking professional, (not a suit an tie, but clean) and started his thorough check of our washing machine. Based on his findings, the total cost to fix the washing machine would be less than $100 or so than a new washing machine. Obviously not the news i was looking for, but I trusted his observation. Matt then proceeded to spend a significant amount of time talking about the different washing machines they work on and the ones that are most problematic. We discussed prices, warranty, repair costs, ease of repair, best cleaning, etc. I thanked Matt and began my search for a new washing machine. After spending 5 days of searching online and going to stores, I was more confused than when I started. Do I get a front load, do I get a top load, do I go high end or middle of the road, what size, etc. Buying a washing machine is worse than buying a car. I promise you, there is nothing more frustrating as all the online information contradicts what you find when speaking with an actual appliance tech. Which brings me to another point. I called several appliance companies in the Rochester area, and without naming names, I will say that the best and most patient feedback came from Upstate Appliance and a man named Jim. I have now spoken to Jim 3 times and each time we spoken, he patiently listens as I ask questions and offers sound logical answers to my questions. He is very knowledgeable and professional. With that being said, Jim has helped clear the "fog", parse, of the online reviews, the appliance store salespeople (absolutely the worst), problem ridden washing machines, which brands to choose, who makes which brand, and which product ultimately meets the needs of my family. I know this is a long winded review, but I cannot state enough on how pleased I am with Jim from Upstate Appliance. When something goes wrong, which it will, Jim from Upstate Appliance will be our first call.

I called Upstate Appliance because my oven wasn't heating up, and Jim was able to show up the very next day! He even called me before heading over so I knew when he was on his way, which I really appreciated. He was so incredibly kind and courteous and had my igniter replaced in minutes at a truly reasonable price. He literally saved our holidays, and with everything feeling as weird as they do this year with COVID, I could not be more thankful for Jim. I'm so glad I called Upstate Appliance! :)

I called Jim this morning, he answered on the first ring! He was at our home about an hour and a half after I spoke with him! He was able to immediately diagnose the problem with our washing machine and with the push of a button it was fixed! He is a polite, professional gentleman, who it was a pleasure to meet and have in our home. Jim, my sincere thanks to you for coming over so quickly and knowing what to look for. I will absolutely be calling Jim back and referring him to family and friends for any appliance repairs.

Upstate Appliance was great! I called before 9am and Jim was at my door before 10am! He had all the parts required to fix by dryer and was very personable and professional. And bonus: REASONABLE! Service like this is worth it, regardless the price.

Jim was incredible! We called at 7:30pm about our washer and he offered to come at 10am the next day! Super fast fix, and reasonable price! Will definitely use again and highly recommend!!

Technician was prompt, courteous and communicated well on when he was going to arrive. He made a quick and I believe honest diagnosis of my dryers issue and gave me a fair estimate. He completed the work promptly and I paid what we agreed on. Nice guy and experience all around. Highly recommend.

We contacted Jim on Monday at 4pm to repair our refrigerator. He overnighted the necessary equipment and fixed the fridge on Wednesday morning. He was transparent, courteous, and offered great advice. We will call him again and recommend his services to our family and friends.

Very pleased with service received. Freezer stopped working so called and they sent someone same day within 3 hrs! Matt was very professional and explained service work needed. He definitely went above and beyond, so thankful he was able to repair freezer and responded so quickly. Cost was reasonable and would highly recommend their services.

Our dryer started making loud noises yesterday & was worried that I might need a new one which would have been fun waiting for one for months because of Covid. Contacted Upstate Appliance yesterday afternoon and John the owner & technician was here today & fixed the dryer. John was professional, knowledgeable, diligent, quick in diagnosing the problem & fixing it. Not only that, but he was very pleasant. I highly recommend Upstate Appliance and will definitely use them again!

Had an amazing experience with Upstate appliance today. Same day service, professional and a great price! Fixing all of my appliance issues for less the than cost of a single replacement. As a realtor, I have dealt with many contractors and repair men. Jim is by far the best in town!

I had a freezer that wasn't keeping temperature anymore, and was at risk of losing hundreds of dollars of food. I called Upstate, and they scheduled me for an appointment within 24 hrs, with a 2 hour window. They called ahead, were on time, professional, quickly identified the issue, and repaired it right then. He then stuck around to make sure the problem was fixed right, and the freezer temperature started dropping again. The price was very reasonable. I was prepared for a bill that was double or more. I am very handy, and can and have fixed 95% of appliance issues without a professional repairman given time, which I didn't have in this instance. I usually have a distrust of most service companies, having caught multiple people trying to swindle me in the past. I would recommend Upstate to anyone without reservation.

I called up and Jim the owner was able to set up an appointment that was convenient. He came when he said he would. He fixed our washing machine and charged a fair price. He explained everything very well. I highly recommend him for his work.

I was referred to Upstate Appliance by a friend. Jim was responsive and very friendly. He quickly diagnosed the issue, which unfortunately meant a new compressor for my refrigerator. However, Jim took the time to call around to different suppliers to find me the best price. One supplier he called offered a price that was, in his opinion, too high. He then called another and found one for a lesser amount. Jim just left my house, and the fridge is once again operational. I really appreciated his willingness to shop around for me and make a quick repair. If I need an appliance repair in the future, I'll definitely call Upstate Appliance again.

We were very pleased with Jim, from Upstate Repair. He came over quickly and did a great job at a fair prices. He was friendly and nice to work with, we will Definitely call him in the future.

Jim was very professional. He fixed our natural gas oven, which hadn't been getting up to temperature and cleaned out a couple burners that hadn't been lighting. He didn't mind me hanging around, watching, and asking questions so I could learn. Explained everything he was doing.

I'll definitely call him in the future if I have need for more appliance work!

I LOVE writing reviews for great service! Jim - the owner - responded to my first call right away, was at our house at the scheduled time, and performed what I can only describe as a miracle fixing our oven! I don't want to forget how quickly he fixed it, and at a fair price!
