Tornquist Plumbing is professional and a good value. I had a water heater replaced because it was over 17 years installed, didn't wait for the failure to happen. I had upgrades done on water supply valves and other things done. This Company never disappoints and I will be using them again for a new A/C and Heating project

My hot water pressure was very low. I called them and within an hour they were at my house. Thank goodness it was an emergency cut off switch that was tripped . They did not charge me! Most companies would charge for a service call! I have used Tournquist for over 30 years for large and small problems. They are most of all honest and exceptionally professional. Three generations have worked in my house. I would never call any one else! Thank you again!!!!

I heard a hissing sound coming from the basement late last night and discovered our hot water tank leaking from the bottom and hissing at the top. We turned off the water and gas to the unit, waited until morning since we slowed the leak and our sump pump was handling it. Proceeded to call HomeServe in the morning who stopped by quickly, spent 5 mins and said the hot water tank is shot (probably manufacturing defect) but they wouldn't work with our State Water Heater (the manufacturer of the hot water tank) and the tank was fairly new so it was still under the 6-year warranty. They recommended that I go to the State Water heater website and find a plumbing group that would work with their warranty. I called three different plumbers who were listed on the State Water Heater website. First guy yelled at me when he picked up the phone, "yeah what do you NEED, what do you WANT?" (and their group had the highest customer review ratings). Then when I tried to say who I was and why I was calling, he hung up on me! Second plumbing group never picked up, but the third group I called, Tornquist Plumbing & Heating were SO wonderful. I was greeted on the phone by a lovely person who asked all the right questions and had me text her a few pictures. She let me know that Mr. Tornquist was going to contact State Water Heater with my warranty information and get me a quote within 10-15 mins. He called me back in 10 mins, had a reasonable quote for me (including a breakdown of the costs for parts and labor) and let me know that his son and another employee were nearby in the neighborhood and could come by to get started within 15-20 mins. Within 20 mins they arrived and the next thing I know they are here hauling the old one away while Mr. Tornquist came by 30-45 mins later with the new State hot water tank! This team was fantastic, professional, trustworthy, transparent, and I have great respect for family owned/run businesses. Highly Recommend!

I’ve been using them for over 30 years. There work is always excellent. But, I was definitely overcharged for hours worked and I felt overcharged for supplies. They charged me for 7 1/2 hours when l felt it should be
4 1/2 to 5 1/2 the most. $700 in supplies and I have no idea, just felt to high. Anyway the job is done and the results, well time will telll. You live and you learn. Lesson:you can’t trust anyone

Had them to repair a leak in a tub drain. They came the first day and did not have the part. Rescheduled for the next day and did not show up or call. When we called the dispatcher blamed the technician and the technician blamed the dispatcher. Two days later they showed up to finally do the repair. Two men came, one was the plumber the other a helper who spent the majority of his time on his cell phone texting while the plumber worked. Needless to say we were charged for the two men when the bill came. I will say that the repair was done well and we have no more leak. They definitely need to work on customer service and having experienced men.

Cannot believe they don't offer free estimates. How the hell do you know what you're up against, really. I'll go elsewhere.
