DGA Builders has proven to be the right choice on our $4.2 Million building project. Renovating and adding an addition to a 114 year-old building is a complex undertaking. John Ahrens and Walt Summers have been great partners. Their diligence, attention to detail, and respect for the building reaffirms our decision on a daily basis. They inspire confidence every day.

We knew this project was going to be a challenge from the start. We were dealing with a very compacted schedule, less than three months of construction from closing to move in as well as a tight budget. Knowing this, we partnered with DGA Builders to help us through the process. They provided pre-construction services that enabled us to make very strategic decisions regarding the scope of the project and what the implications would be on both schedule and budget. They developed a fairly lengthy "laundry list" of items with "go/no-go" dates in the construction schedule that allowed us decide where we were budget wise and if items could be incorporated into the schedule. This was only achievable due to the active engagement of both the project manager and site superintendent from DGA. Their constant and consistent involvement, open communication, and accurate forecasting allowed us to make decisions on the fly through construction. In the end, we were able to incorporate more scope into the project than initially anticipated, all while remaining ahead of schedule. The building speaks for itself. It's beautiful, modern and fitting for our company. We see that as well as hear it from our employees, as well as those who visit our office. We are delighted with the results!

DGA did a fantastic job of working with our firm to come up with a wow experience when the client is walking up the stairs to our office. It is evident what a quality job Ken Capozzi and his team did on the day to day work. They promised items would be done to our level of satisfaction and they delivered. We looked carefully when deciding who would handle the build out of our new retail store. We were the first to lease the site -- it was a raw space. Everything needed to be done (sprinklers, ceiling, electrical, lighting, flooring, etc.) We needed someone who could pull this off in a short period of time. We decided on a local builder with a proven track record -- DGA Builders.

Working with DGA Builders turned out to be a great experience for us. I was very impressed with the professionalism and attention to planning detail. Their comprehensive, detailed quote resulted in no surprises. DGA's responsiveness was immediate for all of our needs.

DYCO Manufacturing, LLC - a Gowanda Components Group business unit:
12,000 sq. ft. building expansion project.
DGA was selected as the prime contractor due to their in-depth experience and turn key package offered, within the DYCO budget. We needed an open area with 20-foot-high ceilings, restrooms, and well-lit space for our engineers, production supervisors and operators. A steel frame structure with insulated wall panels was suggested and agreed upon. All change requests and decisions were managed in a timely manner with good visibility of cost estimates to completion and payments status. One of the change orders was the assembly of the mezzanine in the existing warehouse (picture provided). In conclusion, the project met all expectations while being completed within budget and on time. DYCO would recommend DGA for this type of project.
