Andy is a top notch professional and right to the point. He knows the electrical codes and processes backwards and forwards. His attention to detail and appearance was just as important to him as the actual electrical work.

You couldn’t ask for a better job.

We called at about 4:30pm on a Sunday afternoon when we were having issues with our circuits after calling numerous other electricians who basically dismissed our concerns when we were worried about the issue possibly causing a fire. Andrew came out right away and took care of what could have become a much bigger problem. We will not hesitate to call him again if the need were to arrive. Will absolutely recommend.

I asked them to come and look at an outlet on my porch. Andrew was very professional; he replaced the outlet and found the GFI needed to be reset. The outlet looks good and I would use them again. Would recommend.

We've used powerGen twice now. First for an exhaust fan install and Second for a landscape light transformer. Both times they were prompt, responsive, and did great work.

I had trouble with the Emergency Switch on my furnace on one of the first cold nights. I started calling Electricians featuring 24 hour service at around six in the morning. Andrew was the ONLY one who actually answered his phone and the switch was repaired by 7:30AM. The furnace was once again working - he also fixed a light switch in the basement. Very considerate and knowledgeable about all things electric in fact he called later in the day to make sure things were still working.

I called and within an hour I already had someone at the house fixing my issue. The tech was great and I would 1000% use them again. Thank you!

The whole team, from reception to installation to billing was courteous, professional and incredibly helpful. When everyone else I called told me they couldn't even see me for 3-5 days, PowerGen was there the same day I called. Great service!

We used power Gen Electric during an emergency situation where we smelt a burning smell in our home. Andy and his team did a thorough review of our home to locate the source, improper wiring by the previous owner of our home. Without the diligent efforts of Andy and his team to locate the source of this error we very well may have lost our home due to fire. Power Gen Electric was the only electrician to call us back during this critical time and I'm glad we got the chance to cross paths.

From the first contact I had with the company they showed extreme professionalism and concern for my situation. The electrician was respectful and listened to my explanation of the problem. When the problem was found the owner came by to provide assistance and made a thorough explanation of the problem as well as the costs of the repair. I can't remember being more satisfied with the services provided to me. I can't give a higher recommendation. They also followed up with a phone call the next day and a week later to make sure all was well with the work done.

Outdoor A?C unit for my business began to fail on one of the hottest days of the summer (of course). I called asking for a recommendation for HVAC and and Andrew offered to come by and have a look. Turns out it was a simple electrical fix and we were up and running within an hour. Professional and knowledgeable willing to help out a fellow local business. I highly recommend.

The ONLY Electric company that made themselves available on a Sunday afternoon to come out to HELP--truly a 24/7 company! Lost electric to half a building. Andrew was professional, worked with Orange & Rockland, was here on time and coordinated everything from A to Z! This was an emergency that had a positive outcome because of PowerGen! Thank you to the entire team!

Andy was great from the first phone call. He answered all of my questions and was able to give me a very fair estimate for the work to be done. We scheduled promptly and we are very satisfied with what was done. Would highly recommend powergen to anyone who needs an electrician.

Contacted Andrew to find out would it be possible to install a solar generator. Andrew came the same day evaluated that it wouldn't be cost effective. Very impressed with his honesty not something you find these days. We will be working with him in the future on other projects. Highly recommend him.
