Recently got a pool installed and re-did my whole backyard and front lawn and contracted with Steven Dubner Landscaping and they did a phenomenal job with the design, build and getting everything done in a proper fashion.

Friendly staff. Excellent work. Top of the line in the industry. The one project manager Max is knowledgeable and creative, he'll take your project to the next level. But all the staff is great there.

Stephen Dubner Landscaping recently did the landscaping on our waterfront home in Halesite, NY. built in the 1800's, the house is set down in a hollow without a driveway, which makes any project extremely challenging. This was a piece of cake for Jon Holden and his crew at Stephen Dubner. They craned in the machinery and all materials necessary to transform our yard into the oasis it is today. We can't thank him and his company enough for what they have done for our home. They were affordable, professional, responsive and worked extremely quick (it took 2 days!!). We highly recommend using SDL for your property! Their is nothing they can't do. You will not be disappointed!

clean organized professional very ethical high standards

I live in East Rockaway. Recently SDL was selected to repair drainage throughout the Bay Park area which included ripping up the roads, sidewalks and parts of lawns and repaving the roads. When I first saw the name, Steven Dubner Landscaping, I was concerned if they could handle this construction project. However, their crews were professional and did a very good job of cleaning up each day and at the end of the project. The roads look beautiful now. I reserved a star to see how effective the drainage work is but would definitely hire this company for any construction jobs I have.

Called his office got the third degree from his employee and never got a call back after my 20 minutes of questioning

I’d highly recommend not using this company. They rush through the job and clearly don’t take there time. The owner Steve is also extremely rude on the phone.
