Our little farmhouse was built in 1933. Despite having the crawl space professionally sealed, our battle with insects and mice was ongoing. I've avoided exterminating services in the past because this property and that adjoining is dedicated horse farm and pasture land. My concern for the environment, the bees and butterflies, catapillars etc outweighed the horrors we encountered almost daily from outside tree roaches, spiders and crickets and intermittent mice. Riddem's owner, Alex Gross, offers an environmentally friendly service for his customer's and speaks to the individual needs and concerns of each one. Our kitchen and bathroom drawers and cabinets needed daily to weekly cleaning from roach and/or mice tracks and feces, especially during rain. After our first service the ground was littered with dead tree roaches outside. We have had no more of them inside the house. The unsightly gooey spider webs that plastered my windows were cleaned away and a repellent was then offered to steer them in a different direction.
Despite, the treatment for bugs and mice, my catepillars are now alive and well and living as butterflies in the mimosa tree outside my door with the bees and a band of monarchs that have taken up residence. Having an older home set among trees and pastureland, I have avoided treatments to eliminate the harmful pests affecting our personal space and health in favor of preservation. We have just completed our second service and continue to enjoy clean windows while remaining both rodent and pest free.

Alex was very pleasant and more than happy to come out and solve the problems I was having with spiders. Haven’t seen one since. If you’re looking for a great pest control service Riddem is the way to go!

Riddem Pest Control has been fantastic for us. We first contacted them due to a wasp nest inside our Spectrum cable box on the side of the house. They came out and took care of the nest on a Saturday and even sent pictures of everything they did. Since then, we've continued to use them for ongoing prevention and we've not had any issues with pests since!

I was very impressed with Alex. He responded to my questions very promptly and I was able to get an appointment for the next day. We were able to complete all billing through email in order to practice social distancing. I highly recommend Alex and Riddem Pest Control.

Alex is the absolute best in the area. A consummate professional always striving to be better and going far and beyond for his clientele. His knowledge of pest control is second to none and he knows his North Carolina biology like no one else so he’s very brilliant where he needs to be. I had Stomp Pest Control for years and Orkin before that and as soon as I heard Alex was starting Riddem, it was a no brainer for me to make the switch. Customer service, value, responsiveness, ethical, and you get a sense of friendship with him as well. He makes it known that he’s not just some guy spraying your house, he’s like an extension of our family. I trust him when nobody is home, lock it up when you are finished and text me later. It’s that sort of relationship building that will continue to make him successful. One cannot put a dollar figure on the importance of trust. He’s a “do what I say”
person not “say what I do”.

Can't say enough good things about Riddem. Alex was extremely thorough and went through every area of my house including the yard and spent significant time in the crawlspace. After having other well-known local companies take my money and do nothing to help my problem, Alex did what they wouldn't do and charged me less. We have been very happy with Alex. He has been very responsive, polite, punctual and seems very knowledgeable about insects. I also feel like he is respectful of nature and the needs of individual families. We HIGHLY recommend Alex with Riddem Pest Control! My husband found him after
spending HOURS researching/calling several other pest control companies. Alex is knowledgeable (so smart!), patient + an absolute pleasure to work with. He's easy to get ahold of, quick to reply back and get an appt with + very appropriate with his plan of action. Alex is extremely thorough in his inspections. He found evidence of a minor mice issue in our crawl space that 4 other pest control companies had missed during their inspections. He's thoughtful, takes his time + prides himself on building lasting relationships with his clients. I'm a mother to 2 little ones + feel incredibly comfortable having Alex visit while I'm home alone with both kids......this is most definitely not always the case within the service industry. My kids refer to him as their "friend Alex". Simply cannot recommend him enough!!!! We'll be lifelong customers.

I called Alex to help me with a wasp nest. He is very professional and knowledgeable. He informed me that he found a second wasp nest that he promptly removed as well. He was done within the hour. Highly recommend Riddem if you have unwelcome bugs moving in!

Recently stayed at an Airbnb in Apex North Carolina. When we arrive to the house, we noticed a significant amount of ants in the kitchen and entryway. We notified the owner of the Airbnb. In a very timely manner, Alex showed up and got the work, eliminating the ant problem. Very professional and efficient.
