We had our fall maintenance done by Julian Hankins . He was very professional, explained everything to be done. He checked the carbon monoxide detectors. We have worked with Ross & Witmer for many years. Very pleased with him and will ask for him when spring comes.

Michael was very nice, professional, explained everything he was doing to check the ac unit inside and out, and changed the uv lightbulb. They recommended the uv light 2 years ago and it has kept out the mold I was having. Third time that Michael has done a service check for me and has consistently done a great job. I feel that they only recommend service that is needed. We will renew our contract and continue to use them.

Julian was professional, knowledgeable and a helpful. He diagnosed my problem and helped me determine next steps to get a working unit. I really am happy I contacted Ross and Witmer and would highly recommend them.

May 2025 Update: Michael came out for my yearly maintenance and was very professional and explained everything well. He's typical of all Ross & Witmer employees - very pleased.

I decided to use Ross and Witmer for installation of two new HVAC systems in my mid 1980's house. I got quotes from other companies but Ross and Witmer were much more responsive and helpful. In my most recent situation I had the AC go out in our room over the garage that we use for a home office. It was in the middle of the summer and I called them to see if they could repair the AC. They did and it worked for a few weeks and finally died. The unit was over 30 years old! I called them and said I think it's time for a new system but they couldn't get to it for two or three weeks but said they would install a temporary system to get me by. I was stunned. Yes, they came and installed a temporary AC unit to cool my office until they could get in to install the new unit. They do great work, they show up when they say they will, they have very good technicians and the quality of work is excellent.

I called to schedule an appointment for my AC because it was not working. They had a repair man at my house within 3 Hrs. which was terrific and a life saver in this heat wave. The girl I spoke with was very courteous and nice and understanding of my situation.
John S. was the AC expert that came to my home. I can`t say enough good things about him. He was very courteous and nice and very knowledgeable. He has a great personality! He diagnosed the problem very quickly and had our AC back up and working in a short period of time. He went the extra mile to help in all ways and explained everything very clearly.
I highly recommend Ross and Witmer. Their service was fast, professional, courteous and cost was very reasonable.

Update 3/17/2023: Condensate pump went out (probably due to recent power surge or outage). Julian came right out, explained everything thoroughly and listed our options. Very professional!

On a Friday afternoon (Feb 3rd 2023 at 2pm) we called on Ross & Witmer to get my mother's furnace to work. I had a limited window of time to be there to assist. The repairman Michael came that *same* day (despite other jobs and Friday late aft traffic). He figured out the elusive, unusual problem with the thermostat, and got things working before I needed to leave at 6pm.

Some people you just know this is a good person; gracious and gentle, Michael quickly gained my trust. He could've claimed any expensive repair to be necessary and taken my mother to the cleaners, but instead made the simple fix needed. The repairbill was reasonable for his time and expertise.

Past Ross & Witmer workers did the same when Mom's AC died during the worst of summer several years ago. Not taking advantage of an old lady's helplessness when needing urgent repairs, instead they worked quickly and honestly as though doing a job for their own mother. I've come to associate Ross & Witmer with integrity, kindness and top quality skill. Highly recommend!

Ross & Whitmer was able to schedule a next-day appointment and get our AC working again promptly, as well as providing quotes for future work. Michael and Bobby were friendly and explained things very well! Would be happy to have them do work for us again.

Just wanted to let you know that the crew did a fantastic job and I am very happy with the work Jerry McSwain's and Jonathan's professionalism and communications with me. The crew was very responsive and cleaned up all their work. Showed when they were supposed to and I was comfortable with them so much so that I felt I could leave the house for some business meetings. Very responsive to come out and quote and went over and above to do somethings that I asked after they started. Would highly recommend this group.

Trustworthy and dependable company. Technicians are well trained and professional. My technician, Michael Simmons, is a great representative of Ross & Witmer. Would always request him for my maintenance checks. Having the twice a year maintenance checks is something I would recommend to all.

I was in town at our condo for first time in 5 weeks. AC not working at all. Thermostat blank. Called R&W and a tech, Michael Simmons called me to say he would arrive within 1 hr of my initial call - on a week night. He stayed for 1.5 hrs trouble shooting. He needed to return next day to complete the repair. He called when in route, on arrival, completed repair and AC works great. He could not have been nicer or more professional. Thanks to him and to R&W for again exceeding my expectations!

My family and I have used Ross and Whitmer for my HVAC service for over 20 years. They are awesome! Kyle is a very good technician. Knowledgeable and friendly on time service. Can always count on them to be honest too.

Julian was very professional and courteous. He went about his work in an orderly manner, doing outside service and then inside. He impressed me with his knowledge on the system and how it operates. Before leaving he asked if there was anything he could do for me further (which meant to me that he could give me the time). Sometimes you get these guys that come in and out quickly and leave you with questions cause they need to get to their next appt.

Kyle was amazing. Called 30 minutes before he arrived. Was exceptionally courteous, explained everything he did in detail and even offered advice on potentially adding cooling to the 3rd floor. Highly recommend this company - they’ve been our go to hvac company since they replaced our 2nd floor unit several years ago.

Came out on short notice the day after Thanksgiving about 5 PM and fixed our furnace so we could have heat as temp dropped to 27 degrees. A hard working guy indeed! Thanks!!

We came home to a much cooler house and realized the downstairs heat was not working. This was at 1:30pm and we called Ross & Witmer and they had Kyle at our house at 3:00pm. Wonderful customer service!! Kyle found out what was wrong and replaced the part and we had heat again! He was such a nice young man and a great representative of the company. Ross & Witmer is a great company with very reliable service.
