He came by and did some work in my house a month or so ago, and was fantastic. It was not too big of an emergency, but he was still there the next day at the exact time that he said he would be. He also called ahead to make sure everything was still on track. He was very helpful, checked a number of other potential issues in the house at no charge, and was very reasonably priced. I looked at a lot of places around Harrisburg that had only a few reviews before seeing his list of positive reviews here, and am very happy that I went with him. Thanks to him and thanks for the rest of the folks here recommending him. I would not have come across him otherwise.

John and his assistant did excellent work at a very fair price. I am going to be recommending them to everyone I know. I so appreciated his patience in drawing pictures and repeating concepts I didn't understand.

We have used John a number of times. We find him very responsive and creative and consistently goes the extra mile. When we were looking at replacing our second hot water heater, he suggested removing the second hot water heater and using just one. It worked beautifully and saved us a lot of money both for the heater itself and it electric bills. He carries an excellent line of plumbing products that are not found in the big box stores. He replaced a toilet that was constantly getting clogged with a Toto brand toilet. He also replace a broken faucet with the brand he recommended. We couldn’t be happier with our new faucet and toilet. We highly recommend Pathmaker!

I'm a repeat customer of Pathmaker Plumbing. John and Rick just replaced plumbing associated with our master bathroom. As expected, all work was professional, precise, and of superior quality. Now that I have finally found ethical and honest plumbers, I use no others! Hire these guys. You will not regret it.

We were having issues with master bath sinks backing up. Caleb was able to come in a timely fashion, assess, and restore to free flow quickly. He was thorough in explanation of the problem and the charge to repair/restore. We will continue to rely on Pathmaker Plumbing for any needs as they arise.

John and Caleb just finished up an entire re-pipe on my 2 story house. My house was built with polybutylene, in the 80s, and would sporadically spring a leak so Pathmaker upgraded my whole house to modern PEX. John gave a very detailed estimate and answered all my questions along the way. He was quick to answer a phone call or text. Even tho the job was a multi-day job, he had water turned on for us every evening so we could live our normal lives and take a shower. :) The entire job passed state inspection the first time which is more than I can say about other contractors I have hired. His attention to detail was incredible. I recommend Pathmaker Plumbing.

John with Pathmaker is one of the most knowledgeable people I know in construction! He doesn’t just know plumbing, he see how plumbing affects and is affected by other trades. He does it one way..the way it ought to be done.

Our master bathroom toilet was leaking so I contacted John with Pathmaker Plumbing. He added me to Caleb’s schedule for like 3:30. Caleb called and said they were done with a job early and asked if they could come early. They came and were finished in no time. Wonderful customer service!!!! Caleb even took the time to play with my 2 toddlers ☺️

John at pathmaker plumbing did great work in replacing a leaky faucet and an old rusty garbage disposal unit under my kitchen sink. Very professional and friendly. He even told me plenty of information that helped me determine how to take care of my plumbing in the future. You want quality, great service, and your questions answered? Then this is the plumber for you!

I Highly recommend John Stokes for any of your plumbing needs. He came out on a weekend to service an emergency main water line leak in 100 degree weather. Everything was done professionally and in record time at a great price. He educates you on the issues while fixing the problem. I would definitely use him again for any plumbing issues. Thanks John!

My wife and I recently got new countertops and a newer, deeper, sink in our kitchen. We had to had some piping redone because of the sink depth difference, and the fact that the new sink had only one drain, not two.
The plumber that did the job, John, was excellent. He cut an excellent hole in the drywall to access the piping (this had to be done), and installed new piping, disposal, and pipe vent.
He even took a few minutes after he was finished to educate me on what he did, and why he did it. You could tell immediately that the job was done professionally, because he pointed out a number of things that he fixed that were existing issues we were unaware of, such as wiring that could have caught fire that was not properly insulated years before we even moved in.
I'm sure you can hire a "fix it guy" at a cheaper rate, but I can tell you that they will most likely be the source of the installation problems that were not up to code that we were unaware of. OR you can hire someone that not only installs proper piping and disposal wiring, but also takes time to fix existing issues that he spots along the way. I highly recommend this service as I have had two different employees come to do jobs in the past, and both of them knew exactly what they were talking about. When I would ask why something was the way that it was under the sink, they didn't have to think for an answer. It was automatic.

John and his team at Pathmaker Plumbing are professional, courteous, do the highest quality work and are excellent at what they do. They have never disappointed! I have the highest confidence in their work and would fully recommend them without any hesitations.

John was highly responsive, he arrived at the agreed upon time as well as called to confirm he was on his way. He explained all of his findings, completed his work and cleaned up the area meticulously. We will call Pathmaker again when we need plumbing work.

We had all of our plumbing replaced. Caleb was on top of things. He worked at my house for 12 straight hrs. without a break. He did a great job and he's a very nice guy. I'd recommend this company to anyone that has plumbing needs.

John was fantastic! From the first phone call, he met every expectation. There wasn't an emergency - we wanted to replace the water heater with a tankless. But he came the day I called and emailed me an estimate before he left. He provided options I didn't think about (that I used!). On installation day, he arrived when he said he would, kept me up to date during installation, and took the time to walk through how it works and what he had done. I would highly recommend him to all.

We had a water pressure problem, and John sent Caleb to the house within two hours of my email. Caleb was clean, organized, and explained exactly what the problem was after he spent 30 minutes examining different parts of the water system. He gave me a specific quote for the work, completed the work timely, and cleaned up very well. It was a great experience, and I will use them next time!

We have used this company for several years now. You couldn’t ask for a more competent, professional and responsive company. We had a major issue that required days of their services, they came stayed on site with us and worked in conjunction with us until the issue was resolved. I would highly recommend Pathmaker Plumbing to anyone needing that type of service. We’d give 10 stars if it was allowed.

Great experience with Pathmaker Plumbing. They were ontime, called before arriving, and had a great attitude in helping me solve a very minor issue. I had purchased a deal on Angie's list which had a very low upfront cost for a service call. Pathmaker was able to resolve my issue for no additional charge.

I was in the market for an outside + gas + tankless water heater and I have to say they were certainly the best after talking to 5 total plumbers. They're professional, competitive and thorough. I will certainly use them for all of my plumbing needs.

John and Caleb were on time and quickly unclogged my drain. John inspected the pipes under my house and found an issue- gave me a quote on that repair that I found to be fair. John is professional and understanding and very easy to work with. They protected my areas from dirt/soil and cleaned up after themselves. I will definitely keep using this complary

So so happy with both the owner and the plumber out to our house, John! We have had a lot of issues with our plumbing with really old cast iron pipes that were in really rough shape when we bought the house. The owner came out to see what was up and walked us through potential problems and solutions and explained everything super well and explained what exactly could be going on without trying to freak us out! Just felt very prepared for what could be coming our way.

When they came back to try to fix the clogs, our pipes had a lot of issues with being able to access them properly, but they kept at it until they were able to figure out each issue! Which felt like one thing after the other, but they never gave up and proactively answered questions and gave more information on what had been happening. Showed me each step so I could be more educated about my own home too which I really appreciated. Didn’t give us the run around and they were both super honest and it really eased my mind! Saved us so much headache and stress. Thank you guys so much!
