We live in a development that all the power lines are in the rear of our properties. The development was built in the mid 80's. It was a nightmare for them to access a lot of it. The General Foreman Jarrett was very professional and kept us informed!! His whole crew did a great job. They were very respectful of the property and were hard workers. I'd rather have power rather than some tree limbs that are own Duke's right of way. People just don't think we that plant things on a right of way!!!

Let me tell you how Awesome 😎 this company is. They we’re doing some work in my neighborhood and just so happens one of their trucks was sitting in front of my house. I had a flag that’s has been stuck around my pole for months with no way of getting it down. These wonderful awesome guys who work for this great company come back to remove it for me. It’s an amazing feeling to know there are great companies who have great committed employees who go above and beyond just to help someone. That speaks volumes to type of company this to have great employees such as those two guys. I wish I got there names but I also do want to get them in trouble. Honest and committed to getting the job done ✅

They haven't cut any trees for me, but I can say they are the only company that has brought me wood chips for Chipdrop. They put them exactly where they are supposed to and have been very careful coming onto my property. Thank y'all so much!!!

We got a notice from Duke Energy that Asplundh would be trimming trees on our property by the powerlines. We reached out regarding our concerns and were met with respectful and responsive communication. When the actual work was done, time, care and attention were spent ensuring that only what had to be trimmed was done. Many thanks to Justin, Dillon, Jeff, and Chris for their communication and hard work.

They left "the notice", we respectfully communicated our conerns. In return, they respectfully communicated and did an Excellent job! Special shout-out to Justin, Dillon, Jeff, and Chris. We really appreciate you all listening and being willing to work with a concerned homeowner.

Their is a breeze way in the woods by my house with an aspen pickup and employee who has been sitting in his truck for quite some time parked so he can watch my front door and our cars. I have four daughters and cannot get anyone from Aspen in Charlotte on the phone. I figured I would give this a try before I called the police to come figure out why this man is so interested. There's no work being done he's just sitting there watching my house. It has me very nervous for myself and my daughters.

Got a door hanger that this company was coming around the neighborhood to clear trees from lines. I called the contact on the hanger to let the person know I have dogs, etc. he let me know that they would need permission and access to my backyard due to me having a fence. I was told someone would come to my door the morning of and ask and give me a heads up. That did not happen. Instead, they went to my neighbors house and maneuvered to be able to cut the trees near power lines at the back of my fence. I walked out and asked a man in the bucket clearing branches if they were going to clear them off of my fence and yard so that it does not do damage. I was told some things I will not repeat that should never be said to someone. They then left huge branches on my back fence and left. I have called the main number and spoken to a lady who tells me I will be getting a call back from a supervisor. We will see if that happens.

I didn't contract with them, Duke Energy did to lower trees interfering with their power lines. At 7:50am today they pulled into my driveway without advanced notice, blocking my patients from entering and leaving. We had to go outside and direct traffic to another parking area. I have elderly patients and voiced my concern to one of the workers who told me they would be gone in 1 hour. Right now it is 12:20pm and they are still here! I called the home office in Charlotte and was told there was a chain of supervisors and it would take a couple of hours to get a message to the crew at my office. If I had been made aware they were coming we could adjust the schedule. I think they are good at their job but inconsiderate to those affected by their prescience. I give 1 star, wish I could give less! Would not recommend!

The company is devoid of professionalism. There is zero notification when they are trimming, long delays on clean-up, and their trucks rip up lawns without care. They have destroyed some beautiful yards in Myers Park and have taken very little care to properly limb up beautiful trees. Of course, it is also impossible to get in touch with them to discuss how to fix it. I will not be surprised if they end up in a class-action lawsuit very soon.

So from reading the reviews obviously this company is a joke as a whole, but they also drive dumb and dangerously.... Driver on 77 clearly texting and driving in the 1 lane Express Lane going 50 miles per hour impeding traffic of people who actually pay for their express pass and aren't riding the clock for their travel time being subcontracted to whoever's job their going to screw up today... To the point where the SLOWED regular lanes were still passing him by and telling him to get out and off the phone.

Y'all just pack it up at this point honestly. You can't get a single thing right.
It's time for a new profession and maybe some refresher driving courses guys.

People do not hate the idea of the right of ways being trimmed for Duke Energy or the SCDOT they hate the way Asplundh Tree Service does the job. They have complete and utter disrespect for others property and the horrific devastation they leave behind. They mutilated the trees in front of my property, this now makes the 3rd or 4th time but by far the worst time, only to blame it on the people who contracted them out. Those people were not here on the ground, Asplundh was ! Take responsibility for your actions. Excuse me but what happed to pride in one's work. For being respectful to others, to being responsible. None of these qualities apply to these crews. They are careless and tell unthruths to get you out of their way so they can continue on with their destruction. Do the powers that be at Asplundh not read the reviews on social media.? They are all bad. Everyone can't be wrong. If they don't care maybe we should all start contacting the real powers that be, the companies that are contacting out Asplundh like Duke and SCDOT who are actually paying Asplundh. Why would you continue to hire a company with such poor reviews from so many people. These people leaving these bad reviews have every right to be upset. Trees and shrubs mutilated beyond being restored back to beauty, property damage due to nothing less than negligence, trespassing with no regards. You don't have to be an Arborist to know these trees are not being trimmed properly and I use the word "trimmed" loosely. They have left a mess. More than a mess, an UNSIGHTLY MESS. What about South Carolinas beautiful Highways and Byways slogans. How can you feel justified in charging someone thousands of dollars for being a litter bug ( which is wrong) but then PAY someone else thousands of dollars to make and even more devastating mess. They're definitely no beauty spots left behind on the roadways after Asplundh crews have passed through. It's bad to say but at least I can pick the litter up. I can't climb the trees and "try to give them some sort of shape back, I can't get back the shrubs and flowers they crushed in the process. I have to spend my time and money to have the limbs they leave behind removed and others carried off ...oh and this time replace my mailbox that was evidently knocked off at the ground ( had been cemented down) and is now hardly in the dirt. What type of people are these crews made up of. Do they have such poor attitudes that they really just don't care or are they on some type of power trip thinking they are getting away with something because they have such a sad existence. So folks who hear the workers on the Asplundh crews complain about the public be sure and ask them " what started you down this road with this person" because if they are truly honest with you the answer should be because I WAS A PROBLEM THAT DAY ! I KNEW I HAD MADE A MESS, BROKE A FENCE, LEFT A MUTILATED PATH OF DESTRUCTION FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO LOOK AT EVERYDAY OR CLEAN UP THEMSELVES AND YES I TOLD THEM A LIE SO I COULD KEEP MOVING BUT WHAT DO I CARE.....MY CHECK KEEPS ON COMING IN AND I WANT HAVE TO SEE THEM AGAIN !!!
If that is not the answer they give you it should be. Thousands of people who don't even know each other would not all be leaving bad reviews with photos to prove what they are saying if it was not the TRUTH.

The part where they have expert in their company name is highly exaggerated. The city of Rock hill contracts this company to do jobs but not jobs well done. From eyewitness standpoint they dropped limbs onto my property and basically butchered trees. None of these trees are growing back properly. I watched them do some neighbors trees and with the same outcome. Would not recommend this company to anyone but will advise if they come near your property watch them closely as they have these bad bad reviews for verifiable reasons.

Both times they have came (hired by electric company) they have left a mess, came on property without a heads up.
Today though took the cake. They left my back gate wide open! I didn’t realize it and let my dogs outside! Then had to drag my toddler around my neighborhood looking for one of them!
It’s not that dang hard to shut the gate behind you! You can see the evidence of dogs in the yard!
Also what would have happened if they had been outside????

Duke energy directed them to cut trees in my neighborhood. They used our yard after we told them not to because it had just rain and it would leave it a mess. They came back the next and proceeded to mess up our yard with their bucket truck. Please note how many people are saying the same thing.

Horrible company! Nice job illegally accessing the duke easement behind my house while I was at work and leaving my driveway damaged and yard tore up.

Asplundh tree service drove across my freshly sodded lawn to cut my neighbor’s tree (none of my trees even needed trimming, but Duke Energy had asked them to come out because my neighbor’s tree was hanging over the power lines). My yard was beautifully tended and my neighbor’s yard was cluttered and overgrown, and instead of asking my neighbor to clear a path to give them access, Asplundh drove their truck across my yard and parked on my grass without invitation or permission.

They let huge limbs and branches fall on an area where I had planted bulbs that were gifted to me by my dog’s veterinarian, after my dog passed away. I was in tears and the people from Asplundh didn’t seem to understand why, at all, zero understanding of why I was upset that they came on my property without invitation, to cut a tree that wasn’t mine, and tore up my lawn and crushed plants that I had a sentimental attachment to. This was in 2019 and I’m still mad about it.

I have a degree in Horticulture with a minor in Arboriculture…aka Tree Care. These guys are not properly trained nor do they follow correct tree pruning practices. What a joke!

This guys contacted me to come out and cut a dead tree in my front yard..supposed to be working for duke power so they did the job and forgot to tell me they drop a freaking tree on my truck..bad business

They trimmed a tree at my power pole for Duke Energy and left without cleaning up the limbs. I called and reported it to them and like everyone else that has reviewed them have said they never called back and now I have to figure out how I am going to get all these limbs cleaned up. There is now sense in this.
I have also alerted Duke Energy of this.

This company needs to be looked into. The randomly showing up every other week to cut down twigs is ridiculous. Stop coming back if you’re only here to cut nothing. Noise making is extremely loud and annoying to see that they only cut down literal twigs.

One of the rudest companies that have Ever came to my home. 1st they didn’t have the decency to ring our doorbell to let us know they were in our backyard. (Their excuse was Duke Energy told you) and they may be true but YOU still should have the common courtesy to let someone know you are in their backyard. 2nd they lied to Us and told us that the clean up would be done the very next day we’ll 1 week later when they felt like it is when it was done. Lastly to be woke out of your sleep by the noise of this big machine they use to grind the trees up. Again NO common courtesy to give anyone heads up on what they are doing. They act like this is their Yard and Home. And then to park this big machine right in front of our garage and driveway so we can’t leave until they are ready to be finished. Please don’t try to call them to complain bc no one cares the best thing to do is leave a review as well as call the Better Business Bureau. I’m seriously thinking of reaching out to the local new station too!
