I'm a NC Licensed GC and I've met my share of under performing companies and sub contractors. Viking surpassed my expectations and did so at reasonable cost. I would unreservedly recommend them as your tree service provider.
In fact we have another job for them in the very near future at our Home.

11/22/25 - Update. I had some additional tree work to be done, and of course I called Viking. Another great job done by a professional crew for a fair price. No reason to call any other tree service.

We ended up hiring Viking Tree Experts at the last minute and wish we would have done it sooner. Everyone was great, from the employee that came to assess the trees, the sales team and the crew. I’m sorry I didn’t get the names of the crew. But they were punctual, and professional. They were very respectful of our property, and paid attention to detail AND the clean after was great. You can’t even tell we have people working on our trees for 7hours. They actually left our yard cleaner than what we had it. They literally raked everything on the ground!!! You can tell the crew takes pride on what they do. Hazel was amazing with communication and great with meeting our needs. I liked how the crew wanted to do a walk around before starting the job to make sure we were all on the same page. They asked us a few times to come outside to take a look at their progress and to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We highly recommend Viking Tree Experts and will definitely use them in the future. Thank you to the entire team!

Really impressed by this company and how quickly they got the job done. We had massive trees that we lost due to the hurricane. Some were on the ground and others were leaning on other trees. They did exactly what they promised to do and got our yard looking back to normal. It was a two day job, and the crew showed up on time each day, worked hard, answered our questions and was extremely professional throughout the process. Highly recommend them!

The salesman came out for an estimate to have many large tree limbs cut down. He was knowledgeable. The quote was fair. The crew that actually did the work knew their stuff and got down to business right away. They were friendly and funny…which is always a plus for me.

We highly recommend this company. Fair estimate, super responsive, and did a fantastic job (including clean up).

The Viking crew did a really great job of removing lare mature trees, ginding the stumps and trimming another large tree. The crew had the right machines and tools to do a quick and effective job and they cleaned up well afterwards.

The office people were easy to deal with and reacted fast to questions and requests. I am very happy with their handling of my entire project.

Lastly, Viking was the cheapest of four tenders I got for doing this job.

The men that worked for Viking were amazing! They listened to all our concerns, check with us to make sure we were happy with there work throughout the process. If we asked them to do something they were Happy to do it! They were all amazing!

The Viking Team were great to work with. We had to have a 100’ oak tree removed because it was growing out over our house. I called Viking and they sent an estimator out pretty quickly. I got a no nonsense free estimate within a few hours. Cheaper than other quotes. And their crew were all fantastic and professional. They took this monster tree down and left the yard somehow looking better than it did before they started. Not a twig left behind. I won’t bother with quotes from anyone else next time something like this comes up. Use this company with full confidence.

The quote was very thorough with detailed description of work, breakdown of labor, and unbeatable price. It included pictures of the team, equipment to be used, and copies of liability insurance which were a nice touch. The crew arrived on time and completed the work efficiently taking extra steps to protect the lawn from damage. They cleaned up the mess completely, including blowing off the lawn and sidewalk of smaller wood chips and sawdust. Will absolutely hire Viking Tree Experts for future tree trimming needs!

Viking Tree Experts came today to remove some trees, remove 2 fallen trees and trim some tree limbs. Both their communication and work are excellent. The crew chief texted to let me know when he would arrive, which was right on time. He did a walk through to review all the work to be done. When they were finished, he also did a walk through to ensure that everything was completed to my satisfaction. The clean up when they were finished was also outstanding. I also like the fact that Viking has a Spider Lift, which weighs less and is smaller than a bucket truck, which puts less stress on your driveway and yard. I would definitely recommend Viking Tree Service for your tree needs.

Viking Tree Experts are very good. From the initial call to final cleanup they displayed excellence throughout. I like how they provide photos of the work to be done, displaying areas they will cut, then photos day of the project. Their equipment is some of the latest in the industry and the crew is very professional. I highly recommend Viking Tree Experts.
