Matt came to our house quickly after I called Carter Heating and Air. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem (a blown capacitor) and stayed until he was certain that the compressor was running and cold air was circulating. Once again, Carter Heating and Air have been a godsend - quick, efficient, and professional.

Carter Heating and Air’s dedication to customer service every step of the way is like the old days, when people did the right thing because it’s the right thing to do — and so they could sleep at night!

This company repaired my ancient gas pack and AC unit last fall, replaced duct work damaged by rodents, and for my most recent call about a moldy smell gave me sound advice that I needed to take the plunge and replace it this summer. Never the news you want to hear but I’m breathing clean air now and it’s made a huge difference in my allergies and how I feel.

Randy gave me a very fair price and is handling permitting. Rob and Charles did a wonderful job squeezing my huge old HVAC unit through the gate instead of having to take down the fence…and again with bringing the new unit back in. Not an easy task! They made sure I knew what was happening every step of the way, on a Saturday, training me on the new thermostat and giving me peace of mind that the rodent issue in the crawlspace was gone. Whew. I can’t recommend this company enough. Call them!

Today, 09/16/25, Technician Matt Byrd from Carter Heating and Repair did the fall/winter maintenance check to insure the system is operating properly. Matt provided outstanding service. Thank you Matt.

Very helpful experience with your technician. He helped me check for a possible gas leak and checked out the tank and so-called tank meter, which wasn't even attached. None of this was really in his area of service, but it was helpful and reassuring to hear his expertise on the situation. Thank you, Carter Heating & Air!

We called on Tuesday due to our downstairs heat not working. It was offered for a technician to come Tuesday. Yet, we were okay until we had time off. They worked around our schedule to come on ThursdayI received a picture and name of the technician. Which was very important to us. This call was completed in 30 minutes. It was a minor fix the technician did not try to sale us anything that wasn’t needed. The technician was professional and polite. Overall a wonderful experience throughout this process!
