Great work and staff

Very professional company. Hired them to install a pool heater. Showed up on time for the estimate and the work I hired them to do. Very confident that the work was done correctly and to code. Very pleased.

The electricians were on time and kept us informed every step of the way. I appreciate them going above and beyond to find a troublesome problem located behind the wall in our kitchen. I would definitely use them again.

I have used Ideal Electric for several jobs at our home and would highly recommend. They are highly professional, responsive, friendly, on time and do high quality work.

Ideal Electric has provided us with lots of products and services to help us make our house a home over the last two months. We strive to have our electrical solutions to be the latest in smart home automation, and Ideal Electric has made this possible with timely, efficient, well thought out, quality implementation, and what I believe is a fair price. Jeff, Shane, Rick and team were timely in providing estimates and scheduling during their busy season. Special shout out to Jason and Aaron who completed the work over the course of three full days. They have done so much, that the only way to do it justice is to list it out:
-Replaced a ceiling fan
-Replaced two chandeliers
-Replaced pendant lights over the kitchen island
-Replaced two bathroom light fixtures
-Installed three occupancy lights (garage, kitchen pantry, laundry room). The garage light was moved from inside of the house to the garage and they did this without any additional holes in the drywall but the new and old holes
-Replaced two outlets in the Hardwood floor, with recessed outlets so cords can run under the carpet without a protrusion which could damage the cords, rugs or be a tripping hazard
-Updated hot switches for lamps to work with existing light switches
-*Added three recessed outlets behind TVs so cords will not show and so that the tv can lie flush against the wall
-*Moved three coaxial cable outlets to be behind mounted televisions so that no cords will show
-*Added media two media played behind two TVs that included recessed duplex receptacle and a place to run media cables
-*Ran two media hdmi cords and one coaxial cable behind the wall for each of the two media plates and two exits spots behind entertainment centers
-Updated all traditional duplex receptacles in the kitchen to the more modern one gang, tamper resistant receptacles
-Updated 54 light switches to Lutron caseta wireless switches that allow me to turn off, turn on, dim, or schedule my lights, ceiling fans, exhaust fans, and lamps from my smart phone, Alexa, or Samsung Smart TVs
-Replaced all light switch outlet covers to outlet covers that have a screwless finish
-Moved and removed switches based on a kitchen remodel
*These items were done without the need of extra dry wall and paint work -
Andrew and Austin arrived exactly on time, were very polite,
fixed our lighting problems and left no mess.
Definitely will use Ideal Electrical Services again.

I have used Ideal Electric for several projects around my home. I have found them to be very responsive to customer emails and phone calls, and They conduct themselves in a professional manner. I have had them add recessed lighting for me, add electrical outlets in my floors for lamps, relocate ceiling fans in my home, and a few other items. I would definitely use them again in the future!

I highly recommend Ideal Electrical Services! This is the 2nd major project that I've used their services. They most recently worked over a week to make electrical updates throughout my entire new home. I can't say enough great things about the professionalism of the sales person, the office person scheduling the job and the crew that performed the work. They showed up as scheduled and the quality of work was excellent!

I have nothing but good things to say about Ideal Electric. When owner Jeff came out to look at our work and give us an estimate he was patient, professional, interested in our home and very knowledgeable about all things electric. His price was fair and reasonable. His estimate was detailed and covered everything that we had discussed. The crew members that he sent to do our work were equally as impressive. Jason and James arrived on time, were professional, engaged, did a fabulous job and cleaned up after themselves. If you need electrical work done, these are definitely the guys to call.

Save your money and go elsewhere. Can’t believe they are even in business. Awful!
-
Awful and very disrespectful customer service, all workers don’t care, they just find reasons not to do their job. Go somewhere else or deal with handy man/elecrition who cares about his job.

When a customer reaches out to the owner of a business, in this case Jeff at Ideal Electric, in good faith, regarding a billing-related miscommunication and the owners response is (a) start the conversation by accusing the customer of “not wanting to pay his bill” and (b) telling the customer that going forward the customer has been put on a “do not service” list because he, as the owner, “operates a sovereign business and can choose who he does business with”; the owner clearly doesn’t understand the concept of customer service and more importantly, very basic decency.
At NO POINT did I ever tell anyone at Ideal Electric that I was unwilling to pay their inconsequential $125 bill. The purpose of my call was clarify a miscommunication regarding the bill.
Ideal Electric was at my property as a sub-contractor for a local pool company. While on site, their technician identified an issue with a newly installed electrical panel - the use of an incorrect wire nut to secure the incoming power line to the panel. At the time, they were fully aware that the panel has just been installed by a different vendor and I thanked them for identifying the issue, stating that I would take it up with the vendor (who I identified) who had installed the panel
Ideal Electric subsequently returned to my home to correct the work they had performed……it failed to pass the county inspection. While on site the technician said that since he was onsite he would go ahead and swap out the incorrect wire nut at the electrical panel since “it was a quick fix”. At no time was there any discussion about there being a cost associated with performing this fix. Had I known there would be a charge I would have stopped the technician immediately as the issue was slated to be corrected by the original panel installation vendor, at no charge, under their warranty.
Ideal Electric was fully aware that the panel was under warranty; yet, they subsequently sent me a $125 invoice to replace the wire nut.
I reached out to Ideal Electric to let them know that there (a) had been a miscommunication regarding the panel fix and (b) the technicians were fully aware that the issue at the panel was scheduled to be addressed by the installation vendor and therefore the onus was on them to let me know that there would be a cost associated with the fix and, more importantly, what that cost would be.
Rather than hearing my concern regarding this matter, Jeff the owner, felt it was appropriate to accuse me of not wanting to pay his bill and to tell me that I would be on his “do not service” list. When I asked him why he felt that was the appropriate response to my concern his reply was essentially “i’m the owner; it’s my choice”.
I had zero issue with paying these folks; what I DID have an issue with was the communication and the absolutely disgusting response from the owner.
I’ll take my business to a vendor that appreciates it; rather than one who thinks they’re doing ME a favor by providing a service. I don’t care how good a job a vendor does…..professionalism, decency and basic customer service 101 DO matter! -
Would not recommend. Had them install electrical for pavellion and box was connected with the pool. They made short cuts that cost me money pushed box as close as they could to other electrical boxes to get the inspection to pass. Job was sloppy and without care. Cost me more money to reroute the wires that they tore out of the box to make their inspection work.
