Eric Compton and his very competent crew took down 3 very large trees in our front yard, ground the stumps, leveled the ground, and cleaned it all up. They worked hard and fast. I highly recommend Compton’s tree service.

I have used Compton’s Tree Service three different times. They are very professional, very knowledgeable and they do amazing work. They have many years of experience and I trust them fully. I have had large trees removed that were close to my home and they were very careful and their cleanup job was excellent. I would highly recommend this company.

After the big storm we had last week..I was out in my front yard cutting down some small branches when I noticed that my 30 foot maple tree had been split. It looked like maybe lightning had hit it. I was in a panic thinking that any minute it was coming down on my house. I asked Google for tree services near me. Several companies came up and I started calling them one by one. And finally......Compton's Tree Service answered the phone. I explained my situation and they sent someone out right away. Upon arrival....they assessed my needs and put my fears at ease. The next morning they arrived on time as promised. They were very experienced and knowledgeable about the task at hand. They completed the job in no time at all. Everything went smoothly including the clean up. I highly recommend Compton's Tree Service for all your tree needs. I am so happy to have found them and I will be a customer for lift.

Eric and his team do their (hard) work with excellence. We knew we had some trees that needed to come down but Eric pointed out one we hadn't noticed. It was actually the most threatening of all to fall on our house because it was dead on the inside which as obvious when they got it down. We are so appreciative. Eric explained everything they would do and that is exactly what they did. Provided proof of insurance which was very important to us.They protected our lawn and clean up was great! They also pulled up some dead shrubs and brought in compost. Stumps were ground completely. His team is great. Highly recommend!

Eric and crew did 2 jobs for us. They cleared a septic field that was full of trees from neglect by the previous owners. We then hired them to remove 6 large, dead/dying trees from our yard.

In both jobs the crew worked diligently, quickly, and were very professional. They showed up with the right equipment and took few breaks. After the main tasks were finished, they cleaned up the areas nicely. There were no surprise costs. For our
Years trees, they didn’t damage the yard at all.

We had our trees trimmed over five years ago and could not find our previous tree trimming servicer. I just happen to receive one of those packets in the mail with postcards of businesses and Compton’s Tree Service was one of those postcards. I went online, did a little research, discovered they were local and have been in business for a very long time (which is unusual for tree services) and of course they had great reviews.

I called and spoke with Eric, who was personable and professional. He quickly responded with a follow-up text for my information in order to fully communicate. Soon after, a date was set up to evaluate my needs and concerns. We took a walk of my property and discussed in good detail what each of my trees needed in order to stay healthy and to be safely away from my home. I received a proposal within minutes of our meeting. I communicated a couple of changes, which he promptly made in the proposal.

I have done this before and have been through the multi-company evaluation and estimate process. However, in this case, I was impressed enough with his knowledge, professionalism, personal response, and reasonably priced proposal, I did not feel like I needed to have any further estimates done. Which, to be honest, was a first for me.

Fortunately, Compton’s was able to schedule tree cutting within a couple of weeks. Using primarily texting, Eric was very communicative in regards to any questions I had and the timing of service. Also, very forthcoming in confirmation of their insurance coverage.

The day of service, Eric arrived with friendly and professional individuals, which included family, because they are a wonderful family business! They worked diligently throughout the day and stopped periodically and answered any questions I had. And even though the day started with beautiful sunshine, the last hour ended with rain. They finished the job with minimal damage to the yard and cleaned up very well, considering the wet messiness. I had two trees removed, which look like they were never even there. I had four other large trees trimmed quite nicely. I most certainly will share their name with family and friends and would use them again! Thank you Eric and to your team!

Compton's team took down 12 large trees safely. This was not an easy job - the trees were around my pool and house. They brought a crane, a bobcat, a huge tree eating grinder, a stamp grinder, and a mini bobcat.

Eric Compton and his guys came out and rooted out a very well (35 yrs) entrenched patch of juniper in our backyard. The area was around 15' X 60'. They brought a mini-excavator and skid-steer and completely removed all signs of the juniper in about 3 hrs. They hauled it off and smoothed out the hillside where it had been established. It would've taken my wife and me a year to do it by hand. Very reasonable and friendly service. They also took out three large lightning-damaged trees and cut them up for us about three years ago. Very professional and efficient. Thank you Compton!

Compton's Tree Service removed several large trees from our property as well as pruning up several others. A few of the trees were close to our home. Eric and his crew were professional every step of the way. They kept us informed and cleaned up at the end of each day. We would recommend them for any type of tree work.

Outstanding work, true professionals, and a very knowledgeable of the various species. Hard workers, with the right equipment and competitive pricing. Eric and his entire team are nothing less than, awesome! I was pretty distressed about having our 250+ year old white oak tree removed. Unfortunately, it was just time. Compton's not only removed that tree, but also pruned our other oaks. When they left, you couldn't even see that they were ever here. I highly recommend!

In the past 12 months I have used 6 tree companies. Compton's Tree Service was the best of these companies. The job was done on 12-26-19. Compton's Crew are skilled, prompt, safe and diligent workers.

We had some large trees leaning towards the house and needed someone to get to them pretty quick. I met with several companies in the area and all of them lied about having insurance. This was the only company that came out that had a real insurance agent send me their general liability AND workers comp policy. The entire team was polite, hard working and the owners were great communicators. Will definitely hire again if i have a need in the future.

Had a tree fall on my vehicles overnight. Called early in the morning and Eric came right over to assess the situation. Sent his crew over lead by his son and they did an outstanding job of safely removing the tree off of my vehicles so they did not further damage them. They then proceeded to remove the remaining portion of the tree and clean up the entire mess. They very proficient and professional and I would recommend them to anyone in need of emergency or preventative tree service. Thank you Compton’s. Job well done!

I have used Comptons Tree Service for both my personal home and also my home renovation business. They always have done an outstanding job and are very safety orientated. I would highly recommend them to any homeowner or business needing their services.

Great service and a great value. The entire crew was kind and took great care of our yard and trees. Eric also taught us a lot about how to tell if trees are healthy or not and what to look out for in the future. They came at the recommendation of our neighbor and I’d recommend them to anyone!

We have used Compton's multiple times now for some very tall hardwood and they do great work at a fair price!

About 2 years ago- Eric's crew removed several large Bradford pairs that had a history of large limbs coming down during some storms.
Crew did a great job including grinding stumps- all at a very fair price.
Yesterday- the crew removed 5 more large Bradfords in the rear that, I was afraid would also split and possibly damage a neighbors fence- that I would certainly pay to have the damaged area repaired or replaced.
Just as with the front yard Bradfords, Eric's crew did a super job and cleaned up every trace of tree scraps and leaves.
Price for the whole job was very reasonable considering the amount of work done.

Had a tree fall on my detached garage. Contacted Eric who was very knowledgeable in not only tree service but also in the insurance claim process. He and his crew came out the next day, cut the tree, and placed a temporary tarp on the roof. The crew was professional and cleaned the area where they were working. Will be using them for any future tree services and would highly recommend to anyone!
