I have worked with several tree companies over the years, and I have to say, South Charlotte Tree Service has been hands down the best. From the first visit, AJ actually listened to what I was trying to accomplish, and gave his recommendations, and the scope of work was confirmed.
The morning of, AJ confirmed arrival time and Andrew & the crew arrived shortly prior to. As I began to go over the scope with Andrew, because he wasn't there the 1st time, Andrew began to confirm everything just as I discussed with AJ. Not looking at a paper, but he knew the scope, almost as if he and AJ discussed it prior to his arrival. He immediately gave me the level of trust I needed.
I had a little time to walk around watching, fun to watch, I spoke to a couple of the guys there. Top Notch staff, these guys where so professional, but stand back and watch them do their job with precision, amazing.
You won't be able to have the great experience until you meet them in person.
It's challenging to pick the right company, I'm so grateful I did and I'm going to get them on a maintenance plan.

Highly recommend South Charlotte Tree Service. We had a sugar maple that was concerning, and it was very close to our neighbor’s yard. Contacted Andrew and he quickly replied and scheduled a time to look at the work. They quoted it instantly, and the pricing was very competitive. They were able to schedule us quickly and arrived exactly when they said they would.

Their crew was very friendly, professional, and took great care in their work. They were also very careful not to damage our neighbor’s yard in the process of dropping the tree.

Once all the work was finished, they cleaned up our yard and driveway so well you couldn’t tell anyone had been there. Top notch care and quality in every aspect of the work.

We couldn’t have had a better experience. Andrew was very responsive, his communication was timely, and the best part is that they did exactly what they said they were going to do when they said they would do it. We will certainly be using Andrew and his team again if we have any other needs in the future.

We had been dealing with a sizeable Oak tree that had gone down in the most recent storms and had a rough experience with two other people that attempted to cut it up and remove it without much success. We reached out to Andrew in hopes that third time would be a charm. He responded super fast and was extremely polite and thorough. He came on-site that evening for a quote and provided us very knowledgeable advice regarding our options and about a few other concerns we had about other trees on our property. We were provided with a detailed email quote and Andrew and his team were even able to come out next day to remove our tree. His team were so courteous of our property and continuously cleaned up and honestly left the yard looking better than when they arrived. They were on time and had everything done in two hours, we were blown away at their efficiency. Highly recommend South Charlotte Tree Services for your tree cutting needs. AJ and the crew were extremely professional, fast, friendly, affordable and knowledgeable. I had a tree fall on our back fence, and it was obstructing a city sidewalk. He responded quickly to my text, informed me of all my options, answered all of my questions (even about my other trees) and kept in constant contact through the process. We will recommend them to all our neighbors and friends!

Wonderful experience! AJ was easily accessible and very responsive. Listened to our concerns about the tree and was able to provide a solution. His team cleaned up everything including putting back some disturbed mulch. I would not look anywhere else for our future tree services.

I had a very large tree that was dying that we needed removed from our yard. AJ was extremely professional and polite through the entire process. He took the time to look at all the trees in our yard and gave us some pointers on what to look for when it comes to the trees health. We were given a very reasonable price for the tree removal. Incredible experience. I had a few trees I was worried about and gave South Charlotte a call for a quote. AJ gave me direct honest feedback on what trees did and did not need servicing and saved me thousands of dollars. When it comes time to service my trees in the future, I will be giving them a call back!

We contacted South Charlotte Tree Service to remove 3 trees in our backyard. Everything was so easy from the initial consult, to the actual job. AJ and is crew were prompt in arrival and did a fantastic job with the trees, our yard and with clean up. Highly recommend and would contact them again in the future!

We thought we needed to have a tree removed, AJ was honest and recommended that cutting the deadwood hanging over the garage was all that was needed - the tree was healthy. He and his crew were courteous and professional and cleaned up all debris. We would use them again.

The crew at South Charlotte tree service was phenomenal. They arrived early and set up quickly. They were very careful not to damage anything while they took down a very large cherry tree and cleaned up a 70-year-old oak. They were professional and cleaned up everything - they left everything raked and blown clean. The price was absolutely competitive and I was very pleased with the service . The crew was professional and very nice and I would hire them again in a minute.

I needed a large cottonwood tree removed that was much too close to my house. AJ and his team gave me a fair quote and they did an outstanding job removing the tree. They were on time, professional and cleaned up the entire work area. These guys do excellent work and I cannot recommend them enough for tree pruning or tree removal. True professionals.

I had several companies out to get quotes on removing a few trees and branches over the house. I chose South Charlotte Tree Service for several reasons: I wanted an arborist; I wanted a company with the proper insurance--for my property and their workers; they climb to remove the tall branches (less impact on the environment than running mechanical EQ); their prices were on par with the other quotes and AJ matched the price of another company; he was friendly; easy to communicate with; professional.
They worked all day, took care to not damage flowers and other trees while dropping the cut limbs, chipped the debris, and did an amazing job cleaning up.
Next day, someone came to grind the stump. Jim was just as professional! Compacted the grindings and cleaned up after himself.
All that to say.... I highly recommend this business!!!!

We have had many companies remove trees and prune trees on our property. South Charlotte Tree Service was the most professional group to have worked on our trees. They were prompt, courteous, friendly, and worked great as a team. We will be contacting them again should we need more tree work done. Give them a call when you need an arborist who knows what he is doing and you won't be disappointed.

I had several tree limbs over my house roof with some touching the shingles. There is a tree by my driveway that had branches hanging in the way of parking the car. South Charlotte Tree Service removed the growth that caused the concerns and helped prevent potential future damage. They not only made the landscape look neater, but they also relieved the anxiety in stormy weather and winds. Thank you to their team.

AJ and his team did a great job. We had a branch that fell and we asked about some of our other trees. AJ was upfront and honest about which trees looked healthy and which ones may need some work. Competitive pricing and they did not leave any mess. Highly recommend

Dealt with Andrew from South Charlotte Tree Service and he was very professional and kind - gave us helpful opinions about various large trees and how best to deal with them (no pushing to remove trees that didn't need it which I appreciated).
