Our breaker kept tripping preventing our power from staying on. I called as soon as it started (around 4:30 pm). Mr. Dezern answered his phone and was at our home that evening to fix it. We are so appreciative! Highly recommend this company!

I have had Dezern Electric work on my home several times. They installed a whole house generator with an automatic transfer switch and new panel, they have installed additional outlets in my garage to support an RV hookup and for some tools. They have also done work at an industrial building our family owns - there they went out of the way to find parts at a better price to help us save money.

The work has always been top-notch and professional. They clean up after themselves when they are done too!

And now I have them working on my clients homes. Being a Realtor we need good reliable service people and Dezern Electric has always come through!

I would highly recommend using Dezern Electric for any task that an electrician is needed.

Mr. and Mrs. Dezern are a team, certified to do all electrical work. They are polite, respectful, and trustworthy. I have recommended them to my friends who have used their services as well. Knowing and working with them for my electrical needs over these years has been a pleasure. I can always count on them to provide me with the best advice and service possible. I would never use any other electrical service company.

I've used Dezern on a number of my houses. He not only does a fine job, he gives clear advice, his prices are completely reasonable, he never sells me on unnecessary work, and he even gave m a ride back to work one day when I had car trouble after meeting him at a job site. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Dezern electric came over and repaired o receptacle that I had to keep resetting. He found the problem in no time and repaired it. I was very happy with his work and what he changed me. I will get him again when I have any electrical problems

I had them install a new porch fan. They provided excellent service. Great communication. Showed up on time. Will definitely use them again in the future!

I just completed the construction of my house in White Cross, Chapel Hill. I subcontracted George Dezern from the beginning of the project and he was the electrician for the entire house. I recently passed all final inspections and George was outstanding. He went beyond expectations -- charged a very reasonable fee -- was always available, working on weekends and in the evening just to get the job done. In addition, he assisted beyond his scope of work, with the security of the house and some components of my air/heating. If I had to redo my house, I would re-hire him in a heartbeat. In other words, if you want someone hardworking, conscientious, reasonable and supportive -- George (Dezern Electric) is the person!

Dezern emailed me stating he was coming the following day. He never showed up didn’t call or email. Bad first impression. Looking for someone else.

Things started great, I experienced a partial power outage on a Monday night and they responded late at night after hours to a text message. Very good response and beyond my expectations I thought! They told me they could send someone out in the morning, and after describing my issue they said that it could be an issue that the Power Company needed to resolve. They said that we could call them for free, and we may not need their services.

I opted to have them come out in case the power company *couldn't* help me, and I needed power restored ASAP. She said it'd be about $75-$90 to check it out and tell me if the power company needed to fix it.

True to their word, they came out right on time and identified it was an issue that the power company needed to resolve.

This is where it got nasty. They charged $150, my mother was at at my home and she interacted with the electricians. She believes they overcharged and told them she was going to cancel the check. Why it was more than I expected is disputed, but I was told it was because they sent two technicians out. Why they opted to, or why that was my responsibility, I am not sure.

Being that it was my home and I was paying for it, I appreciated the expeditious and gracious service, and figured the difference in cost wasn't that big of a deal and wasn't going to contest anything.

The next day I get a phone call from a very angry lady, the same very friendly lady I spoke to late at night to arrange the appointment. She's yelling at me at the top of her lungs. She claims I'm trying to stiff her, and she doesn't really seem to be looking for a resolution. She just wanted to yell. She wouldn't even let me get a word in to explain that what my mother said does not represent what I intended to do and that yelling at me was unnecessary. Unfortunately she yelled at me for so long and with such unprofessionalism that here I am leaving a 1 star review.

They also blocked my phone number so now I can't even call them to come up with a better conclusion. Being that my poor review was entirely based on the post-appointment phone interaction with that lady, I am not opposed to revising my review were they willing to contact me back a little more professionally.
