We've had such a great experience with this builder. They respond quickly to us every time we've had a question. They are beyond helpful.

I love my home. Purchased in 2015. Still love it. We did most upgrades ourselves, like did our own backsplash and tile flooring. Love my home. Savvy was great to work with.

Savvy Homes is a great company to have build you a new home. We had them build us a house in Polenta Fields and we love it. The workmanship was excellent throughout the house. The few minor issues were immediately cleared up and all the people we dealt with during the building process we very very nice and competent. The builder we worked with, Mark, is exceptional. He truly cares about the customer and the workmanship that goes into building a quality house. I would recommend Savvy Homes to anyone looking to build or purchase a new home.

I love my Savvy Home. YES we have had issues but they were addressed or has been documented for future evaluation. We have been very pleased since Richard has been on site. He is always walking the subdivision checking all the houses, cleaning up and keeping on top of the contractors. Anyone buying a house on Richard's watch will be very pleased.

Like the house. But Savvy didn't stand by their word to fix a problem with the slab floor - It has displaced into two levels. Even after the vice president and their Professional Engineer, George Aiken came out and assured me it wasn't going to fall. It is now a 1/2 inch difference.

Several severe discrepancies with the home that were pointed out and never fixed. They are liars and build poor construction. Be careful!

Horrible experience! If you have issues with your home you have a better chance of reporting them to the BBB. They seem to be more responsive to protect their rating than you contacting them directly.

As others have stated -- POOR quality -- even worse post purchase quality service. My mother lives half a mile away and has a house by Weaver built the same year -- just touching the walls you can feel the difference quality and craftmanship.

What's not to hate? The way we've been ignored about warranty issues from day one to the cheap materials and shoddy construction, I don't know where to begin. Don't be fooled into square footage for a great price. This company knows nothing about quality or integrity. Prepare yourself for heartache and headache after headache. Dig deeper and see how deep the issues at Savvy really are.

Absolutely horrible experience ever. Terrible construction, horrible customer service. I guess now AV homes has taken over but their customer service in the warranty department hasn't changed one bit. Who hangs up on a homeowner trying to express their frustration of being ignored for months? Denise you have the worst attitude for a so called customer care personnel.
One of these days these people will get hit with a lawsuit maybe then they'll learn not to short change people.
Haven't lived in our new home for even a year yet, and Can t wait to get rid of it already. We were looking for our forever home but this one is not going to be it.

They don't even deserve 1 star! The worst built homes ever! Our outlets went out twice, the floors and walls are uneven, cheap MDF crap, my chairmolding fell apart and had to be redone, my foundation is cracked in my kitchen!! MY hardwood floor is coming up and I've only lived here 2 years! Plus they find every excuse in the book not to fix your house when they do finally respond! Run away, far far away!

Moved into a new construction home December, 2017. The process was a smooth and enjoyable experience until our 21st DAY living in our new home..a rainy day led to a LEAK in our home from an unreachable place. After countless emails and voicemails to the emergency line, the warranty department, etc. we are now ONE week later with absolutely ZERO resolution. The builder himself is aware of our urgent issue but still, nothing has been done. We have a LEAK from their poor attention to detail and now we are paying the price and regretting our purchase.

This has been the worst experience buying a house we have ever experienced. We have numerous issues that have yet to be resolved. We keep getting brushed off and called “petty”. That is not any way to treat your customers. There are still houses for sale on our street. We will be sure to tell those looking not to buy a Savvy home, as they will be super disappointed.

Worst home buying experience our family has ever been through. From the seller agent adding another "friend" agent as our "buyers agent". "Buyer" agent made $9,000 off our closing and didn't get our home add-ins recorded so WE had to pay extra $1400 at closing and then the buyer agent couldn't even make it to our closing. The selling agent complained about any item needing fixed before closing. We didn't get the keys to our house until days AFTER closing. The water furnace was never turned on b4 handing the house over to us or ever shown to us where it was located!!! We were told so many lies about we don't live in a HOA community but once we moved in, suddenly there are more strict laws than any HOA would cover!!! (Landscaping especially) We've been in our SAVVY home 2 months with still SO many things wrong with this house, i.e. Doors don't shut huge settling cracks only 2 months old, ALL 3 shower doors gush water out all over floors and it's almost impossible to plug anything into any of the outlets! The loan officer the selling agent pushed onto us still has not sent us any paperwork to even pay the mortgage... I would never buy a SAVVY home again. Sorry.

Terrible quality homes, that are made and built quickly. Wavy walls and baseboards, crooked outlets, faulty and incomplete electrical work, uneven installation of lighting, nothing is even or straight, they use the cheapest materials possible and even cheaper warranty work. Warranty work looks worse than before they fixed it. Don't waste your time or money, you'll be spending more just to fix what they didn't do correctly. Run

We purchased a home for roughly $500K from Savvy homes back in 2015. Even before purchasing the home we had a home inspector come by and found moisture in the crawlspace. Savvy homes stated that they would take care of the issue. Throughout the first year Savvy came out on 2-3 different occasions to try and fix the issue. Rather than take an approach of fix it right the first time, Savvy would simply regrade the crawlspace only to see moisture in it months later. As we approached the 1 yr walkthrough we agreed to wait 6 more months for another inspection to see if regrading it would work. We have now passed the 2 yr mark. Savvy came out checked the crawlspace and saw the moisture...we also had multiple contractors come out and agreed there was moisture and MOLD is starting to grow.

They recommended to place a dehumidifier under the crawlspace and check the drain lines. Savvy stated they would let us know in 2 weeks what they would do to resolve the issue. We are now going on 2-3 months now and we have made numerous calls, voicemails, e-mails and everyone at Savvy has apparently disappeared. Everyone you speak with at Savvy is always very nice and assured us that this would be the time they would fix our issues...however no one will answer or return our calls and emails anymore. Do I have to take Savvy to court in order to get them to stand by the agreements they had in place with us??? Could I recommend others to buy from Savvy...NO as they simply want you to sign on the dotted line and cut and run.

I would never buy another Savvy home, nor tell anyone to buy one. The only plus to our current home is that it has a lot of square footage. The space, however, is not utilized smartly. We have had 2 separate outlets short, and smoke the house up. They sent out an electrician to replace the outlets, we have repeatedly asked for an entire inspection of the home to be done, which has fallen on deaf ears. Every time we smell smoke, even if it's outside, we search the entire house to make sure it's not another outlet shorting. We have a fan that sounds like a hurricane, still not fixed. We had to have extra lighting added to the kitchen because it was too dark, and we had the major light changed out to add an island light, it was barely hanging on by 1 small bolt. The customer service is poor, all we get is excuses. We had to get our "annual" inspection done at 10 mts and are the repairs done? No. Many of my neighbors have all the same issues. Cheap carpet, now we have to pay someone to come stretch it out. For the price they charge for their homes, you definitely are not getting the quality for it. If you have another option go for it because this company does not build quality homes. The amenities center we were sold on, wasn't built last year as promised and doesn't look like it will be built this year. From the people who have lived here 3+ years, it has been promised to them as well. All we were sold was a bunch of empty promises. I would not buy from this company again, I would not buy in Towne Pointe subdivision either until they follow through with what they promise either.

Savvy Homes slaps up cheap square footage homes and is unwilling to fix anything that breaks down during the warranty period. Buyers looking at a new Savvy home should closely examine the poor paint work throughout the home, endless drywall seams and nail pops, squeaky floors, yards with drainage problems, and unhappy customers fuming that they were so stupid to but one of these homes.

BUYER BEWARE
Shoddy construction and the cheapest materials they could find, warranty department that is clueless, 'customer service' are words they don't even understand or can pronounce.
350K+ house, and the tile work is uneven everywhere, the hardwood floors are falling apart, the siding is melting. Handrails are coming off the wall, the list goes on and on.
IF you are past your 1 year 'warranty' and have not reported ANY defect to the Builder warranty company they use after the first year. You will be rejected for any repairs. The 10 year 'warranty' the give you is useless, and non-existent.

Class action is coming, there are a lot of people in our neighborhood with the same issues that have gone unanswered or are brushed away with 'homeowner maintenance issue'
