The service I received was prompt and very courteous. The technicians were extremely knowledgeable. I was even more impressed when the owner of the company came along to the site.

I have been using them for years and unlike the big companies that you see on TV all the time, they actually come when they say they will, have affordable and precise solutions, and don't try to "upsell" you. I have made the mistake of using other HVAC guys before and I won't again.

This company has an excellent service team with a quick and prompt response to your concerns. They offer a high quality service and are always very courteous. Great bunch of folks with great pricing. We have used them for many years and he still has the same techs, I like that. I highly recommend!

Everything was fantastic from beginning to end. Jennifer in the office was extremely kind and understanding when my AC went out on one of the hottest days of the year. She sympathized with me and assured me that she would get a tech out as soon as possible. Kevin arrived within 2 hours! He was kind, polite and knowledgeable. He fixed our AC in an efficient and timely manner and at a fair price. I will call them for all of my AC/Furnace needs and will refer all my family and friends. Highly recommend!

I have nothing but great things to say about Comfort Specialists of Charlotte. They came out the next day after I called (during the HVAC busy season) to provide a quote on installing a new ductless system in my basement. They were able to provide the quote the same day and were very competitively priced. They listened to where I was wanting to place my unit and made it work as opposed to other companies trying to find the easiest way for them to do the job. I had received quotes from other companies that would either not call me back to schedule the work or when I asked about different options on the quote would ignore my emails and questions. That was not the case at all with Comfort Specialists of Charlotte. They were ready to do the work and I was more than happy to give them my business. After the install, my drywall contractor accidentally hit the refrigerant line with a screw. Comfort Specialist of Charlotte impressed me even more when they came within an hour of me calling them and were able to repair the line. Could not have asked for better service! I highly recommend and will be using them for all of my HVAC needs going forward!

    Fantastic company.
Jason and his team did a great job installing a new HVAC system in my home. Even the county inspector was impressed with the quality of the install and said how refreshing it was to see such clean electrical wiring.
    Highly recommend Comfort Specialists!

I submitted a claim through Home Warranty of America who is probably at the root of the scam; however, Comfort Specialists unfortunately is in business with them, so I am obligated to review them based on that partnership. I submitted a home warranty claim on 6/30/2021 and was assigned Comfort Specialists as my vendor to handle to repairs or potential replacement for my heat/AC package unit. It is now 8/17/2021, and I am at the seventh week in a row of hearing that the part (TXV) will be in "next Monday." Perhaps they are honest and truly think the supplier will provide the part "next Monday", but I have to assume they know better as the experts. Also, my unit is 15 yrs old and also appears to have potential damage on the exterior plate of the heat exchange, which most likely will lead to safety concerns when I need to use heat this fall. Comfort Specialists stated they could not address this until the fall and could only recommend a repair for my TXV. Meanwhile, I contacted two other HVAC repair companies (AirWorks and Southend Heating and Air) who came out and recommended I get a full replacement. Unfortunately, because Comfort Specialist is partnered with HWA, they could not look out for my best interest nor provide me with a timely solution. I am still without a functioning A/C unit. It is hot. I have no hope in a fair resolution or any service to make up for such a horrible experience. They may be good for regular customers, but if you notice that they keep saying that a part will be in "next Monday", buckle up for a fun ride that never ends...

My home warranty company sent Comfort out to replace the evaporator coil on a one year old AC system. That means cut off the old coil and solder a new coil to it. Comfort reported that they had to “modify” my system which is not covered by warranty so I had to pay them directly more money.

When I spoke to the warranty company and explained there was no “modification” but a simple remove and install they agreed there should be no charge. When they contacted Comfort the owner would not talk to them and relayed through the office staff that they didn’t want to do the job anymore.

They got caught, picked up their marbles and went home.

    Update:
If you read the owners reply after my review you can judge for yourself. It’s a mess of “stuff” with no direction. Again, it’s simple. I needed a simple remove and replace a defective coil. The owner tried to get extra money by saying he had to “modify” the system. He didn’t. I spent the last 11 years of my business career supporting my corporate facilities group with hundreds of air handlers (commercial HVAC). I knew the process and technology so I knew when someone was pulling a fast one.

The new vendor had no issues and requested no “modifications” in order to repair the system.
