DEFINITELY RECOMMEND CARDINAL ELECTRIC!! It was a pleasure to work with Mr. Robert, Ryan, and Josh. They did a great job installing our ceiling fan.
    They were:
ON TIME, FRIENDLY, QUICK AND EFFICIENT, AND TIDYED UP BEFORE LEAVING.
They were so understanding and cooperative when I made the appointment and asked that they wear masks and follow COVID 19 precautions even though restrictions have been loosened. They showed up fully masked and this put us at ease. Thank you very much!!!

Robert responded very quickly to come install a receptacle for a new dishwasher. He was skilled and quickly completed the installation. The cost was very fair. I highly recommend Cardinal Electric for any electrical needs around your home.

Robert and the guys went above and beyond the ensure my job, which lasted over a year, was done correctly and were quick to resolve any issue that came up. They took the time to explain the options I had and to talk through any concerns.

We had a devastating fire May 2024. We shopped around for electricians not really knowing what to expect! Robert put in his bid and we chose him and his crew to do the work! The best thing about Robert is he is down to earth. I could talk to him about everything and he would offer suggestions, but would always end with, “we will do whatever you want Ms April.” I learned a lot about electricity! He was always explaining what he was doing and I always felt informed! He helped me choose lighting and gave me the specifics of what to order since I was the general contractor! Of course there were changes and he was always upfront about the cost. We love our new lighting! We are up and running today because Cardinal Electric got the job done!

The electrician was professional and knowledgeable, but the business tacked on a service fee to use an online payment system. I had to call the business to find an alternative, and their answer was to mail a check. This fee, the "Square Up Fee"(a little over $10) shouldn't be pushed on the customer to use a system like this, or the fees should be declared in advance. No option to pay at the time of service was available, as the electrician that came forgot their card reader and some equipment, and the option to mail a check is not reasonable alternative. I understand that payment systems add burdens to businesses, but having these fees added after service and demanded of a customer, just tacking it on and assuming payment, is unacceptable. If a business tells me a price for a service, that is the price I expect to pay. Not %103.5. It also took the business 17 business days to provide the invoice.

It is companies like this one which are destroying America. All I asked this company to do was install an attic fan in the gables at one end of my attic. And they charged me for 3 hours and the time it took them to drive from their office to my house. The job did NOT require them to pull electric from the breaker box, power already existed in the attic and was hooked into an off/on switch. All this 2 man crew had to do was, build a wood frame to put the fan in, attach the frame to the gable and then run 25 feet of wire from the switch to the fan. There was no cutting into the house needed, there was already venting.
I even described to the owner of the company what needed to be done and he estimated 1 to 1 and 1/2 hours. They elected not to come out and visually inspect the job.
The charged me $181 for the fan they installed. I asked to see the invoice for it and none was provided they stated they got it a big box store. I tried to find one on line similar to what I got and it was priced at $134. Nice mark up wouldn't you say.
Bottom if you want people who aren't going to stick to their estimate, not bother to inspect what they are going to do to ensure their estimate is accurate, charge you for the time it takes them to drink their coffee on the way to the work site and rip you off then this is your company.
They originally charged me $669 for the job after I complained they reduced it to $579 dollars. I described to what was required of the company you tell me if that was worth what they charged.
