The Pipe Boss from Winston-Salem recently replaced a pipe in my kitchen floor. These people are wonderful to work with. They are friendly, respectful, did everything possible to make the process easy for me, and left everything clean and neat. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

A company that cares and knows what they are doing. Had 2 big Plumming companies come out both talking about work over 10 thousand dollars each. Pipe boss came, diagnosed the problem, and gave me some alternatives for about 80% less of the price from 2 big Plumming companies. Will only call Pipe boss for my Plumming needs.

We called on Monday and they were out for an evaluation same day, suggested a solution that didnt require slab to be broken up, good communication all along the way! On time as promised, very clean and professional! Highly recommend!

I had a very serious sewer problem where waste was backing up in my yard. I contacted the Pipe Boss and he and his team are truly The Boss. Will came out on 12/6/24 to fix the issue but realized the fix involved more intricate and precise work. They returned 12/7. No problem for the team. It took a bit of time but they were determined they were not leaving until the problem was fixed. If you have any plumbing issues, call The Pipe Boss.

Will and the Pipe Boss team were incredibly professional and responsive. They went out of their way to help us with our drain catch problem, solved the problem quickly, and suggested improvements we could make to our drainage system. All, surprisingly, for a very fair price. I will be using them for the improvement project going forward.

I contacted Pipe Boss on a Monday and they come out the next day and ran a camera down the main drain at my house. They showed me exactly what was wrong and suggested that we contact the city because there was a broken pipe and it was likely on the cities side. The Addiction Recovery Care Association (ARCA) engaged with The Pipe Boss in late 2024, with work beginning in early 2025. Their team successfully lined several hundred feet of 6" and 4" piping located beneath a cement slab—an impressive feat completed with minimal disruption to our operations. This was critical for us, as closing the facility was not an option.

Not only was the project completed efficiently, but it also came in significantly under the cost of traditional sewer line replacement. We recently had a serious issue with a broken cast iron sewer line beneath the finished slab of our basement, and we can’t say enough about the outstanding experience we had with Will and Kim at The Pipe Boss.

Their team performed a video inspection and discovered a severely deteriorated 2” cast iron pipe that had nearly 50% of the bottom section missing. It was leaking drain water under our home, creating a serious risk for long-term damage. The 2-foot section had multiple bends and connected into the 4” main line — a challenging configuration.

While most contractors would have immediately recommended tearing out flooring and busting through the slab at great expense, Will and Kim took a different approach. They first attempted a CIPP (Cured-in-Place Pipe) liner, which unfortunately didn’t perform the way the manufacturer had described — likely due to the tight bends and the poor condition of the pipe. Rather than giving up or pushing for invasive demolition, they became more determined to find a solution.

They researched and sourced a different CIPP product, came back over the weekend, and made it work. The end result was a fully repaired pipe with no need to destroy our basement. Their trenchless sewer repair solution saved us thousands of dollars and weeks of disruption.

What stood out even more than the technical skills was the level of customer service, honesty, and persistence. Will and Kim treated our home like it was their own. They communicated clearly, showed us video footage before and after the repair, and never once tried to upsell or take shortcuts.

We needed a sewer line replacement and I can highly recommend Pipe Boss after the completion of the project. Our issue was challenging due to the age of the home and several large trees in the front yard. Most of the companies in town don't offer pipe lining or bursting or if they do outsource it. We had one local company who wanted over $5,000 in work before they would quote it. Others told us digging was our only option. Will and Kim looked at our issues and used pipe bursting to run 65' of new line when pipe lining wasn't a viable option. Our large oak trees and retaining wall had no impact and the process replaced 75 year old legacy pipe.

Pipe Boss is a locally owned company and Will and Kim were involved in all aspects of the job. Communication was good, the crew worked hard and left the site clean, and the pricing was good. Nobody ever is excited about sewer line replacement, but we were able to get this done in 2 days with minimal impact to our front yard. If you have sewer line issues, Pipe Boss should be your first call. Their technology is a no brainer. Why dig up your yard or cut into drywall when you don't have to?

Our home was able to benefit from their cure in place pipes and when our pipes were completely disintegrated, the line was rerouted outside with no damage to the inside of our home.
