They replaced an electrical pole in our front lawn in Penfield NY. Amazing! These guys know their sh... If the rest of the company runs like this crew this company is going to the moon. I was impressed and very happy to see such a well organized and well done job. They even came to the door asking on our plans to use our driveway since the pole was near the driveway. A+++

Once again DiDado the rescue! I live in a monster 1924 house that is all masonry including the floors. We needed to put in a 220 line to the kitchen which was challenging to say the least. Bill, the electrician was so methodical and careful to take everything into account and think everything through before the first hole was made. I just love having a company that I can count on showing up on time, doing an excellent job every single time. Thanks all of you for being in business and I hope you're in business for the rest of my life!
There really isn't any job I can think of that I would hire anyone else for unless they made the referral.

Completely professional with quality work. They were willing to work with us on extra work to get us back up and running within the day

Our house had damage from a storm and downed trees. From the moment I called JW Didado I was treated with respect and kindness. The work done at my house was done professionally and timely. I highly recommend this company and appreciate all of their help during a time when I needed a company to do what they promised.

Mark and Tim were great. You can tell it’s a company that wants to Do a good job for their customers. They our professional, quick and they leave the areas clean after they work. I am so pleased that I had gotten a reference to use them and I will certainly give them references to other people to use them. I highly recommend them.

I am extremely happy to be the provider of storage and office solutions to the J W Didado team. Their dominance in the field of transmission, distribution, substation, emergency & storm restoration has made them not only a force to be reckoned with in the Midwest, where they are headquartered, but also on the East Coast, where we partner with them. While Dan, Maria, and Michelle do a fantastic job of running the company, they were wise to have brought Jake, Ashley, Jenny, Inez, Max, Kevin, and Peter into the fold. I highly recommend them!

My family was heading to a third day without power after the storms struck Pennsylvania. I had just received a notification from our local power company saying that it could possibly be restored on May 3rd by 11 pm. Two more days, I was frustrated. Then I saw trucks going up the road with your logo on it. I Googled it and found out they were an electrical contractor company out of Akron. A few hours later our power was on!

Thank you so much for coming to Pennsylvania and helping us like you did! I am a very grateful Pennsylvanian recipient of your expertise!

I did not personally hire JW Didado, but I am extremely grateful that West Penn Power had them do work on the electric lines in our area! When the wind blew a little, we lost power. We had many storms that left us in the dark for days...Since they worked on the lines this summer, we have had no power outages...NONE! The crew kept us informed of any disruptions to our power and were very professional while they were in our area. Thank you so much for the amazing difference you made in our service. Grateful in western PA!!

    they do good repair work

Vehicle owned by this company hit three parked vehicles and now over three weeks later their insurance company is dragging its feet "trying to determine fault".

After seeing other reviews, it appears that safety and common decency are not real concerns for this company. I shouldn't be shocked that they act like nothing happened. Usually this starts at the top. Upper management/owner must be some real pieces of work.

Crews have been working on a narrow street in Punxsutawney and multiple times have parked working in the middle of the street but don't put up "road closed" signs causing people to have to go drastically out of their way. Too lazy to put up signs or just don't care the inconvenience they cause for others?

Reckless driving on thruway westbound between exit 42 and 43 on 8/14/2025 around 6:10pm

This company tore up our farm field and our gravel driveway. They were not even working on our road, but they used our driveway as their personal turnaround every day for months. One of their big trucks tore up our property after it rained. They promised to repair it and never did. Their employees are rude and a couple of them harassed us on our own property. Avoid this company at all costs. They are terrible!

Not impressed by this company in the least their management seems more interested in putting people down. My advice avoid them.

This company was hired by my local power company, JCP&L, to install a 34,500 volt subtransmission line along US route 202 over existing distribution infrastructure. Typically this job would be done by replacing existing poles with taller ones and installing the new line at the top. In this case JWD installed poles at seemingly random locations leaving old distribution poles in between spans, some of which are leaning or in otherwise bad condition. The job looks absolutely atrocious. The line was also unnecessarily built for a higher voltage than 34.5kv making it look even less aesthetically pleasing. This company also worked out of order in different sections of the approximately 8 mile stretch of route 202 causing unpredictable backups due to lane closures making it harder for commuters to plan their travel for the day. On top of that, I witnessed one of their workers almost get into an accident trying to cut off someone traveling on 202 and then proceed to scream at the driver who had the right of way. I wouldn't hire this company to staple a piece of romex up in an old barn let alone build a line on a busy highway in New Jersey. I guess they were the lowest bid for FirstEnergy/JCP&L and as the saying goes "they're here to electricrify not beautify".
