These guys are absolutley great. You never know who you can trust anymore but i promise you won't find more trustworthy, professional and fair guys anywhere. I highly recommend them. They've fixed my furnace and ac in the past. Never tried to upsell me stuff i don't need, rushed out to take care of me, fixed it right the 1st time and didn't rip me off at all!

Hagan Heating & Plumbing not only does good work but they stand by it. A friend referred them in 2019, when my furnace needed a new motor. They replaced it promptly and correctly, and I have since had them out to repair a toilet and another part on my aging furnace. When a furnace part they replaced 10 months ago started going bad, they promptly came out, replaced it, & didn't charge me. That is great customer service. They deserve my business and yours.

Attention geothermal furnace owners! Our furnace was 21 years old and after a few months of extremely high electric bills, I "interviewed" a few local contractors who had the experience and knowledge to diagnose a geo system and replace. John Hagan (owner) visited the first time and I was very impressed by his straight-forward approach, diagnosis and presenting all of my options. As a WaterFurnace installer, we decided to select Hagan for this substantial repair. I appreciated how John didn't try to sell us the most expensive model nor any of the bells-and-whistles. Rather, given our situation, he gave fair and honest advice and let us decide. The installation went extremely well and his crew (also part of the Hagan family) was very professional and did a fantastic job. We saw an immediate decrease in electric consumption and a home that was more consistently warm. Now nearly a month later since the installation and I am reminded daily how thankful I am that I called this local family-owned contractor. I won't hesitate to refer them in the future and call them for any personal HVAC/plumbing needs at our home in Portage County.

We didn’t have any hot water cuz of a flood in the basement. Technician came at 8am was here 15 minutes and he said, pilot light is lit and you’ll have hot water in about 2 hours!! I told him he made my day!! Very reasonable priced!! Would 100% recommend!!

Pinhole leaks in a copper pipe can cause more damage than we might realize. We needed after-hours service (Saturday night). Joe arrived punctually, quickly assessing the issue and immediately working to replace and repair the problem. Very professional and personable. Reasonable cost for after hours and well worth it. Hope we never need services like this again but if we do, we'll call Hagan.

They did a full mainline clean out and had to replace a large portion of my pipe. At this time I felt they did a great job and fairly priced. However, this was back in February. They didn't have a clean out cap and said they were going to call to set that up. I never heard back. I forgot about it. After about 3 months had passed I started calling them to get this fixed correctly. It took several calls to finally hear back. Then to be charged a $50 service fee for them to come out and install the cap, a 5 minute job, that should have been done the day of, after I had to repeatedly contact them is just ridiculous.

Find someone else. This company is clueless

I think we got taken. My sister-in-law hired Hagan to repair a furnace flue cap. The bill listed $110 in parts and $660 for labor. Details listed "repaired flashing, replaced chimney cap and sealed". Two guys were there for two hours. Take a look at before and after picture. I can't see $660 in labor. Drive time to this site is only 40 minutes.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I called for a drain that needed snaked. When the men arrived, I explained the issue, that we had before and showed the point where the issue was. I was immediately treated like I was an idiot "that's not how this works" I was told. After coming back a second time, the next day, they finally did what I had suggested the first time. They damaged the floor from the snake scraping the floors, even after my husband (who was home the second time) asked if it would and told it would not. The basement then had standing water from them snaking the drain, but they had no towels or shop vac to fix the issue and I had to ruin multiple towels and buckets of my own. When I reached out to the owner after needing to rip out the baseboards and flooring from all the standing water damage, I was told he would see what he could do to make it right. After that radio silence, no return calls or emails. I will NEVER use them again. I gave multiple months to make things right before writing this review because I firmly believe in giving the chance to fix wrongs. Instead of responding- I was ghosted. Never again.
