5 Star Electric came out to replace my garage door opener and they did a great job! They were professional, on time, and accommodating to my schedule!

In a timely manner, Garrett fixed the electrical problem that caused an issue with my water heater. He took the time to show and explain the mess that caused the problem. I will recommend his company to family and friends.

The staff was very tentative and explained to me how the electric works in my house add a new home owner. James reassured me that the job was correct and made sure that my outlets were working correctly. I highly recommend this company.

I have used 5 Star Electric Inc. numerous times, rather its James or their crew. Everyone has always been very professional, polite and detailed in explaining everything not to mention thorough on cleaning up behind themselves upon completion of each project... I highly recommend.

Garrett and another gentleman, promptly came out to see what the problem was after taking my call yesterday afternoon. They took the time to show me what failed, bought a new light within my price range and installed it. They were quick, efficient, reasonably priced and friendly. I’d definitely use them again and will suggest their company when talking with others. Thank you!

The company also does plumbing work! James and Garrett responded to my service request through my home warranty for shower/tub drains leaking through my ceiling downstairs. Both listened to my concerns, promptly assessed the issues and made the necessary repairs, and offered some additional plumbing advice. If I have another issue, I'll definitely be requesting them by name!

The tech came to service the issues in a promptly. He came in a timely manner, returned with the necessary tools to resolve the issue in a timely manner, explained the situation & provided his contact information. He was very friendly & professional.

Would not recommend don’t stick appointment times and rude on phone

After taking a while to reach someone and get them scheduled, they were over an hour late. I wouldn’t recommend them.

Spoke with them on Monday, said they would be out Friday at 9am. By 9:30, nothing. Called and he said that my appointment was “put on the wrong board” and he would contact me within 2 hours to schedule a time for same day. Never heard back from him. Would not recommend. Very unprofessional.

The visit was delayed several times after being scheduled, and he ended up not showing up at all the day of our appointment, with no call or notice whatsoever. The next day we heard nothing. I called. No answer. My husband finally reached him and he said someone else was supposed to come out and would get in touch with us. We heard nothing. We ended up hiring someone else.

Very unprofessional. Dodged calls and texts from me for 2 months before finally coming out to do half the work he said he was approved for. 2 of the light switches that were changed were clearly not new. Set his dirty power tools on our antique kitchen table. All of this done by the owner of the company. Overall severely disappointing with the quality of work. Would not recommend.

I had them return to my home 3 times to address my electrical issue because the service tech was lazy at best. They replaced a few electrical components with used parts they found in their van, capped off the electric to lights I regularly used, and shook a few wires on the final visit. I went 3.5 weeks with electricity in my kitchen. I have since gone through another company to have the original issue corrected since they were unable to complete service in a timely manner. Do not waste your time or money with this company!!

Please stay away. I had to use them through my home warranty service. Came out twice for the same issue, of course charged a service fee both times even though they didn’t do anything the first time except put caulk down which I told them wasn’t the issue. Finally believed me the second time. Cut a hole in the ceiling and found the leak. Told me they would be back to fix and stopped answering! For months I’ve had a hole in my ceiling and it still leaks. Bad business!
